Occupation: Member of the Muggle Worthy Excuse Committee

History: Born to Shirley and John Davies in 1968, Anne was a child of the seventies. Her parents were very involved with the flower power movements and instead of a regular back garden Anne grew up with a vegetable patch.

Until her eleventh birthday Anne was fully of the opinion that she was perfectly [if somewhat regrettably] ordinary though upon the arrival of her letter she was rather quickly disabused of this notion. She went to Hogwarts very soon after her letter arrived and sailed through school without incident, though she did wish that she'd worked a lot harder and had, perhaps, more fun.

After her seventh year Anne instantly went to work for the Ministry, much to the consternation of her parents, who felt that she was neglecting the muggle world. Anne herself couldn't have been happier - she had a boyfriend [a fellow Hufflepuff by the name of Thomas] and a job and even her own flat!

Things took a turn for the worst a few years later as Anne, preoccuppied with her career, didn't want to have children whereas Thomas did. Thomas left her in late 1990 and Anne was devastated. After that she threw herself into her work and only had a few cautious romances with men in the years following, though she didn't get too involved with any of them.

Years later Anne is still single and childless and a little bitter, though she's generally a happy and outgoing woman. She's happy with her job [though she hasn't had a promotion in years] and is wishing for a child. Due to her past mistakes she's cautious with men though she's looking for someone to love, and fast, due to the ticking of her biological clock.
Personality: Anne is an easy going, down-to-earth woman. She's not the most intelligent of girls but she works hard and is very loyal to friends, though she does have a bit of a mean streak. Outgoing and willing to experiment Anne is often the life of a party.

Anne is a kind and considerate woman and always puts others ahead of herself which might explain why she's still only a member of the muggle worthy excuse committee even after thirty or so years. Anne is a woman of surprising passion, once it's aroused, and would like to meet a nice wizard to settle down with – and the clock is ticking, but there are always potions, right...?
Appearance: During her youth Anne was always described as “unconventionally attractive,” whatever that meant, but as a fifty year old witch [with potentially another hundred years on the way] she still remains a somewhat attractive woman with her open, smiling face and her light blonde hair.

What little signs of ageing that she has only serve to accentuate her features like her crows' feet, which adorn her blue eyes. Rather tall for a woman – at 5'8 – Anne is happy with her height even if it restricts her choice in high heels somewhat.

Anne enjoys a variety of styles from wizarding to muggle and can usually be found in a sundress though for formal occasions she wears gowns and sometimes when she dresses casually her taste will range from “eccentric” to “odd” with not much overlap.
