History: Elizabeth was born to Alistair Charles Darling and his lovely wife, Charlotte Marie Darling in 1988. As a pair of Sloanes, Liz’s parents expected her, of course, to attend a good, public boarding school to graduate with average to good A-level results and then attend Cambridge or another prestigious institution.

Their dreams were dashed just weeks before Elizabeth’s twelfth birthday where she received a letter – borne by owl, no less – claiming that she had somehow been born with magical powers and that she was a witch.

It didn’t go over very well with Mr and Mrs Darling, who wanted their Darling daughter to become something of a Sloane Ranger such as themselves. Still, after the whole issue was smoothed over by a liaison from the school – which was, the Darlings soon found out, considered one of the best in the world – they were receptive to, if not delighted with, the idea of their daughter attending Hogwarts and training her magic.

Elizabeth was Sorted into Slytherin due to her ambitious streak and ruthless cunning and she passed through school was little difficulty, receiving straight Os in both her OWLs and her NEWTs due to her ambition to be the best, to be seen.

During the beginning of her career at Hogwarts she found that some of the Pureblooded Slytherins in her year looked down upon her because of her muggle ancestry. As she progressed through the school this became less of an issue because of her ability to smuggle liquor and marijuana into the school. Her illegal activities passed under the radar of the professors because of her polite, hard-working and charming demeanour whilst in their collective presence – she was careful not to step a toe out of line.

Upon graduation it was expected that she would join the Ministry as an Unspeakable but, to everyone’s surprise (including her parents’, who assumed that she would still attend Cambridge as they planned) she did apparently nothing with her life, preferring to travel the world using her parents’ money.

Unbeknownst to her parents or her friends at Hogwarts, Liz was quietly building a criminal empire built on limited funds and complete contempt for her underlings.

Having achieved a modicum of success aboard, Liz came back to Europe six years after she left at the age of twenty three, where she spent four years in Russia trafficking drugs between the East and the West.

After that short stint in Russia, Liz went straight to a source of opium: Burma, where she stayed, overseeing her operation back to the UK. She stayed there for three years, returning to the UK shortly after the disappearance of Harry Potter, where she found her business in disarray: her drug lords has been embezzling, their customers and underlings were in chaos and she was left with the task of keeping her business under the Ministry’s radar whilst rebuilding her British trade from almost the ground up.

Personality: Elizabeth is a polite, hard-working woman of a charming disposition. At least, that’s the image she presents to anyone important: her parents, old school friends, Ministry officials – anyone not privy to her true identity as the Black Death, a global drugs trafficker and crime lady.

To her underlings Liz is a complete terror: she demands complete and total respect and is always ready with a harsh word or put down. At the same time she recognises and values loyalty and success and has a great sense of duty.

Elizabeth is a rebel at heart and she doesn’t want anything that her parents wanted for her: Cambridge education, perhaps a part-time job to occupy her time when her darling husband and children were at work and school respectively and a boring, mundane existence as a muggle housewife. She is a risk-taker but, at the same time, she thinks things through beforehand.

Liz has a strong thrill-seeking streak and she is something of a control freak – which can be dismaying, at times, since the very thrill she seeks if often completely out of her control.

Liz is commanding and confident with a sparkling personality and a morbid sense of humour and is a woman who has a love of travel – as her almost endless globe-trotting shows.

She has a wish, however, for an easier life – travel without business, conversation without business and even sex without business.



Appearance: Liz is a tall, graceful woman with an exotic look about her. She has grey-blue eyes and her mother’s smile – sultry, with a full lower lip. Elizabeth’s body is slim and toned as a result of her intensive fitness regime.

Liz has clear skin and an eccentric taste in clothes, preferring muggle styles to wizarding apparel.
