History:

Daphne was born into a lovely little muggle family that lived in the English countryside. Most of her youth was spent frollicking through the fields of flowers behind her family's little house. Her father was a scientist who worked for the government studying bees in hopes of helping to improve the nations honey production. After a virus dramatically reduced the number of honey bee's in the United States in the latter part of the last decade, the British government became very concerned with their own bee population. Thus Mr. Honeycutt, bee enthusiast, had a nice respectable job that allowed him to spend his time with his favorite insects. Her mother worked in a little restaurant in town, where she was known far and wide (okay for at least two towns) as the best baker. She imparted this knowledge to her daughter from an early age.

However, Daphne was not a typical little girl. The first magical sign was one day when her It became most appearent on her eleventh birthday when she recieved a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Her parents were befuddled by the whole affair but in the end decided to send their little girl off to this place called Hogwarts.

Daphne got on well in school, being a naturally sweet girl she made friends easily. She did well but not exceptional in school and when she graduated she decided that unlike most of her peers who went to work for the ministry or became a healer she wanted to open a bakery and make the magical world a little bit sweeter.

Personality:
Daphne is as sweet as the muffins and cakes she sells in her little shop, though a great deal less niave than people might imagine. She can be a bit mischevious at times, though she was never a prankster (she's too nice for that), she nevertheless appreciates their humor. She has an unatural affection for bees, stemming from her childhood.

Appearance: Long brown curly hair with bangs, blue eyes, she nearly always wears brightly colored dresses. (Anna Friel)
