History: Sydney has had a rather interesting and career centered life. In other words, she has no family of her one. Noted to be one of the most capable witches of her time, Sydney, now at the age of 114 is a member of the Wizengamot and the International Confederation of Wizards serving as one of the British Seats.
Early Years:
Sydney had an average childhood. She was one of six children and the third eldest. Her family was everything to her and she always looks back on her childhood with fond memories. But sadly, all things much come to an end Sydney’s fairytale life was no exception. The year before she received her acceptance letter to Hogwarts, Sydney’s father, mother, and three youngest siblings died of dragon poxes. They had a sever case of it that could not be treated by drugs and died quickly. While this was a painful experience, she was able to move on and eventually gain closure.
Hogwarts:
Sydney excelled in school and quickly found her place. She was sorted into Ravenclaw, the same house that her older bother and sister were in. When fifth year rolled around she was named a Prefect and by seventh year she was Head Girl. Sydney excelled in her studies and could usually be found in library or tutoring another student. Her professors loved her and encouraged her to enter the Ministry, which she did.
Ministry Life:
Sydney initially started off as a receptionist when she entered the Ministry. This was a not because other departments did not offer her a job, but because she still wanted a bit of flexibility in her schedule that the other jobs did not offer. She later worked in the Minister’s office both as a trusted assistant and a bodyguard. Then, Sydney became a full time Auror and eventually became a valuable member of the MLE community. While many thought that she had finally found her spot, Sydney was not happy. Her dream had always been to work in the Department of IMC and she got her wish. After decades in the Department of MLE, Sydney changed career paths and joined the IMC. Since making that choice in late December of 1961 to join the IMC, she has been incredibly happy. After decades of service she was appointed to the International Confederation of Wizards and is quite happy with her position. She has no regrets about her decisions not to start a family or marry. Her job, her friends, and her remaining bother and sister are her passion.

Siblings:
Jane Browne, Sydney’s sister worked as a professor at Hogwarts and later Bueaxbaton. Jane is the former Head Mistress of Bueaxbaton and is currently writing an autobiography. Jane also serves on the Bueaxbaton Board of Govenors.
Edward Browne, Sydney’s brother worked as a healer as St Mungo’s and was the head of his ward for more than forty years. He is now retired and serves as a member of both the St Mungo’s and Hogwarts Board of Governors.
Personality: Sydney is a hard woman, she has had to be. One does not accomplish everything that she has and approach life as if it were full of rainbows and butterflies. When at work she has more a take not prisoners and lets get the job done right the first time kind of attitude. That being said, Sydney is the kind of boss that most would want to work for. She makes it a point to get to know her staff and makes sure that everyone is doing well.
Around her friends and family Sydney’s softer side comes out and she quite a laugh. Her dry wit has gotten her into some interesting situations that only her connections within the Ministry have been able to get her out of.
Appearance: Sydney comes in at roughly five feet and one inch tall; she had blonde hair at one time but it has since faded. Her eyes are green and they are the kind of eyes that show the world that they have seen a lot.
From a young age Sydney liked to run around and play. As she grew up that joy transformed into a passion for exercise. Over the years she has remained in tip-top shape and can usually outrun people that are a quarter of her age.
