Title: Sympathy Is A Dish Best Served In Tandem
Description: Ivan and Neville

Ivan Delaney - November 16, 2008 08:02 PM (GMT)
Ivan shrugged his cloak tighter over his small shoulders as the cold air bit at his back like a vicious parasite, he still felt it for a minute or two even as he pushed his way inside the door, with some kind of brief unconscious struggle with the elements. His shoes slapped softly on a particularly large puddle of murky rain water which had pooled outside the door, and the burst of warm, musty air at one side of his body suprised him, and he could do nothing but stand there for a moment and stare.

He was quick to recover however, the warm smell of butterbeer and it's companions, melted the frost off him shortly. The Leaky Cauldron wasn't, well, the most handsome place in London, but it's dishevelment had charm.

Everything in Ivan's world now was clean, white, perfect and tense the atmosphere made him forget he was a wizard for a good percent of the day, but the site of a broom slowly (and ineffectually) sweeping by itself was a slightly comforting sight, and he watched in the corner of his eye as he sat.

It was mid-day, there was hardly anyone here...

His thoughts were rather disjointed after that, as he waited for the bar mistress to appear. He diddn't crane his neck to look for her though, she could take her time.

Neville Longbottom - November 17, 2008 02:53 AM (GMT)
Nevv had just returned to the Leaky Cauldron a few hours earler at mid-morning, in order to take care of Hannah's remaining effects. The twins were being taken care of by some of Hannahh's distant relations. They were were well beyond Nevv's ability to handle right now. He had just submitted a reqauest for an extended leave from teaching duties at Hogwarts. However, he expected he would live there, at least for a time, perhaps puttering around the greenhouses at the school until he got his bearings again, if they ever ever returned.

Nevv was unsure exatly how many people knew of what happened, even thos from Hogwarts. He had been pleasantly surprised that there really wasn't any forgotten articles for him to pick up. It was always easier when you weren't carrying abunch of extra articles. Nevv looked a bit more disheveled than normal, with his hand stuck in his pockets and his eyes forever looking down, and nobody tried to interrupt his loneliness.

He noticed, since it was mid-day taht ther were few people at the bar, so he slowly shuffled over to it, He saw a thin individual, nodded to him, and called out to the barmistress, "a fire-whiskey please, tall and dark!" In many ways the LC was a mixture of things to Nevv. It had memories of Hannah that he wished to forget, but other good memories as well. It would be a good place to contemplate what to o wit the rest of his life. Should he go back to Hogwarts full-time at some point, or should he return to being an Auror. He wished that Harry was around .... he needed some good advice.
