History:
Zoey Grace Wyatt was born on a wet January evening in 1991 to Lennard and Susan Wyatt. Though the couple had been struggling financially through the first few years of their marriage, especially since their first child, Jason was born, by the time Zoey came along they were well enough off to have a home in London. Zoey's first looks at the world were through the eyes of a muggle since her father was a muggle and the formative years of her childhood were spent living in the muggle world. The best word to describe the little blonde during her primary school years is precocious. Though the Wyatt children were told of the wizard's world by their mother and that, eventually, they would probably find themselves with powers that their muggle friends didn't have, Susan made sure to warn against telling that to the wrong people. Zoey, of course, disregarded her mother's warnings.
During primary school, Zoey was known for her storytelling skills. Though her teachers called this "lying," Zoey knew the truth of things and was simply trying to let the other kids know about it. Who wouldn't want to brag a little about the fact that their mother could make things float in the air with a magic wand, or that sometimes, on holidays, she got special candy frogs that jumped around. It was only convenient that she had eaten said frogs before she could bring any in to show her friends, but that wasn't really the point, was it? Magic was real, and it was wrong to keep it away from people just because they couldn't do it. It should be shared, right? So Zoey told stories. She drew pictures of the creatures she begged her mother to tell her about and studied books in her own school library that claimed to be about unicorns and pixies and all those other things she knew were real but that her teacher claimed to be something called "fantasy." Her progress reports showed that she worked well with others, but had a penchant for "fancy."
The world suddenly made a lot more sense, then, when, just before the birth of the third Wyatt child, the family picked up and moved to Hogsmeade.
When Jason got his letter to Hogwarts, Zoey was sure she could stow away in his trunk or something. When she finally got her own letter she was ecstatic, so pumped to finally be able to see what everyone else had been hiding. Jason, already in his fourth year, had done nothing but brag about how incredible everything was, probably just to get her riled. Zoey had dealt with it by telling the same stories that she'd told her friends to her younger sister, Mandy. Despite their nearly four year age difference, Mandy and Zoey were closer than Zoey and Jason ever would be. It was his stories about actually coming into contact with the creatures that she'd only ever been able to dream about, though, that had her running when her time finally came.
Zoey was sorted into her brother's house of which her mother was also an alumnus, Gryffindor. Wanting to separate herself almost immediately from anything her brother had done, Zoey excelled at potions and transfiguration, though she and Jason did share a common ground in Care of Magical Creatures. Her capricious nature made her an obvious candidate for Quidditch commentating, and from her second and through her seventh year she was the mouth behind the microphone, sharing the seat with various others with whom she competed for loudest and most witty. That was pretty much Zoey's entire point at Hogwarts, to be the most opinionated, the most right, the most heard.
It was only natural, then, that Zoey would want to find herself a job where she could hoot and holler until someone's ears bled. Upon graduation, Zoey got an internship with Wizard Wireless radio, and because of her continuous pushing of the limits as far as subject matter and her charismatic and inviting personality, in her second year of interning she'd finagled her own show in the mornings and evenings featuring mostly American muggle music and some talk radio.
Personality:
Through absolutely no personal effort, Zoey manages to be that person who knows everything. It's not that she makes it a point to seek information, though she might in some instances, being as she has the tendency to be nosy when the situation calls for it. Anything involving her family members, her siblings especially, she is 100% all over it. Mostly, though, she simply absorbs things. She's not the gossipy sort, though if you want some, she's got it. It's more the case that she knows every single side to an argument and has made up her mind one way or the other. That doesn’t necessarily mean she's going to give you her personal opinion, but she will definitely give you an opinion. Sometimes, just for giggles, she'll argue the exact opposite of what she actually thinks, just to see how far she can push something (which is usually surprisingly far). While not particularly persuasive, Zoey takes pleasure in getting people riled. It's about passion, after all.
Though she’d like to believe she is easily approachable, Zoey has been repeatedly surprised to hear that some people find her intimidating. There's a difference, however, between intimidation and confidence. Zoey is confident, mostly. She has the same insecurities that most women do, but she also knows how to play to a crowd. It's not manipulation. It's just that she knows what works with what people, knows which buttons to press, which face to show. That doesn't mean she shows that face, just that she could. As a general rule, Zoey doesn't try too hard to be anyone but herself, and anyone who would inspire her to act any differently is simultaneously an object of intense interest and disgust. While uninfluenced, Zoey is frank and assertive. She never feels the need to lie and will call it as she sees it, but is rarely out to hurt feelings. Unless she is.
Really, all Zoey wants to do is be heard. And it's not even in the "listen to me, I have important things to say" way, but more in the "I'm talking, and if you happen to get something out of it, awesome." The idea of 'static' conversation is something of a conundrum for her. While she isn't easily bored, she knows that other people are, and would rather truly engage someone in conversation than involve herself in small talk. Honestly, she's not as… absent-minded as she may sometimes appear. And sometimes, she can seem a little flighty. But what with absorbing all this information, it's easy for some of the lesser details to get lost in that jumble of words and phrases and pictures and sounds. She is by no means an idiot. She does, however, keep little post-it notes everywhere, because she tends to forget little things. And big things.
Zoey has what they call an addictive personality. That's not to say people become addicted to her, though she is particularly easy to get along with as long as you don't push any of her buttons. More specifically, if she finds something she likes, it becomes an obsession. Again, it's all about passion. That's not such a bad thing when it comes to hobbies, if anything it's made her more well rounded. At least that's what she tells her parents when she's come across yet another vocation that she just must pursue. That's part of the reason she knows every different side of any given argument; it's more than likely that she's dabbled on both sides of the fence. However, it's quite a different case when it comes to people. Thankfully she's never been in a situation intimate enough for her to become unhealthily obsessed with a person. It remains a possibility, but with an older brother like Jason, she's lucky she's managed to even kiss a boy.
She is slow to anger and forgives easily. With any other person, that could be seen as weakness or naivety. Zoey just believes in second chances, and third and fourth ones. If her trust is blatantly betrayed, she won't be the one offering forgiveness, but if she's approached with an apology, she won't keep a stiff upper lip. She will remain wary, however. She can become possessive, especially of those she is closest to. With anyone else, it might be an issue of attention. And Zoey does enjoy attention. More than that, though, she has her attachments. It's just another facet of her addictive personality. She's established certain relationships with certain people and expects those relationships to remain a constant, since she doesn't have too many others. When that fragile balance is threatened, that's when she's the most formidable enemy. At her worst, Zoey is driven by obsession, which can lead to whim. At best, she is a confident well-spring of useless information and damn good advice, however untapped.
Appearance:
Like many girls, Zoey is less than happy with the way she looks. A little over average height, Zoey feels she practically towers over other girls at 5'10". 'Slender' is a nice way of describing her somewhat lanky form. Her friends always told her she was built to play Quidditch, but she was always much more comfortable commentating than she was on a broom. While she is not especially muscular, she does have some definition in her abs that make some people jealous. Always on the go, it only makes sense that her metabolism would stay above average, though when she mood strikes her (which isn't too often) she might go through a month-long exercise in will power where she'll actually eat healthily and workout consistently. That usually doesn't last too long.
She's inherited the trademark blonde locks that all of the Wyatt sibling possess, hers stopping just above her waist. It's mostly from laziness than out of any particular respect she has for her hair that it's gotten that long. It's just too much of a hassle to cut it. Of course when someone brings up the fact that it's more of a hassle to wash ten pounds of hair she only rolls her eyes and absent-mindedly braids the long mess into something resembling rope, though most of the time she wears it loose. Her eyes are watery blue, shadowed by long lashes and usually squinted when she smiles, which is often. The one thing she can't stand about her face is her nose. She can't look into the mirror without seeing it first, and then scrunching it because it's there. Freckles dot her shoulders.
More laid back than anything else, and having taken up a vocation that doesn't require her to be seen overly much, Zoey is very much about comfort when it comes to clothes, though she does have a flair for quirky accessories. A simple white tank top may be dazzled up with a chunky faux pearl necklace, and she likes to tie ribbons around her wrists, just to have something to play with. She could be seen as bohemian, preferring sandals to shoes and crocheted ponchos to something more practical. Hippie culture hasn't been lost on her, and though it's a more than a few decades later, she still likes fringes and tie-dyes.

Previous Roleplay Experience:
I guess I've been formally forum roleplaying for about three years, though I also dabbled in chat-based roleplaying when the Yahoo user rooms still existed, which seems like centuries ago.
