Welcome to After Graduation! Why don't you tell us a little about yourself?
Let's see, names is it? My parents gave me the name Rachel, but you know, after a while it gets all jumbled into things like Rach or Rachie. Pretty laid-back about nicknames, so have at! :D Recently graduated from high school (joy!) and absolutely torn in two about what sort of major I want to pursue. Obviously I enjoy writing immensely, and reading is another favorite past-time. I am a concert-violinist and I reeeeally love cooking. Except, don't ask me to make anything with ginger in it, because most likely I'll burn it.
We love you already. <3
Now that you've told us about yourself, why don't you tell us about your character? Here's a quick summary sheet to make it easy.
Describe your character in less than a paragraph.Intense, focused, and subtle. I'd say April is a mix between bookish-geek and mad romantic. She's very interested in her surroundings and eager to be apart of the main-stream magical community. If there's anything she adores, it's her work, which is really more like a personal hobby to her. Though she interested in people, it's usually you that would need to make the first advance to even hold a conversation with her. Very mouse-like mannerisms and bashful behavior.
What's your posting style like?As far as style goes, I believe in quality over quantity. Four page posts don't necessarily mean there's anything good mixed in. I'm fairly good with keeping up to date with my responses, I think. I haven't been at this for awhile, so it may take me a little bit to get the creative juices flowing again. If you find yourself waiting on me to post, don't worry, I'm probably just taking pains to make sure everything is precise. Smidge of a perfectionist when it comes to writing. I never just throw up a post unless I'm in a rush.
What sort of plots or roleplays are you interested in? Serious or light? Long-term or short?I'm welcome to any sort of plots, actually! I haven't yet really thought up a good plan for April, so any ideas that come to mind where she might be useful would be excellent! In terms of my own preferences, I'm more in favor of long-term roles that don't require constant creative attention. *Grin*
Fantastic! Now I hope you've prepared yourself. You're about to be bombarded with welcomes and thread requests from many wonderful roleplayers.
