History: Derek is the oldest of two children in his small family, he was born at 1:05am on the morning of the great storm; the 12th August. For some it was a sad day, but for the D'Ambroiso family is was full of joy. The D'Ambroiso family had only just moved into the Boston suburb home, a well-to-do neighborhood, with nosy neighbors and snobby children. The family lived as three until three years later at the arrival of Chase. From this day, Derek knew that he would have to look after Chase; protect her from most of the world's evil and having her look up to him a role model...

Nora, Derek's mother was a career mom and was busy most of the time. So he helped her with looking after Chase when she was small. Derek's father, Adalrich, an author would spend a lot of his time writing his bestselling mystery books. Derek was not a big fan as Chase was. Growing up, Derek and Chase went to all the most pristigious and popular schools in the area, Nora has always want the best for her children. They were both so accustomed to rigorous schedules that by the time they were in high school, they were both at the top of their respective classes. It was like their mother had a checklist on the perfect activities for perfect children...or were they? Derek is te only Wizard in his family...it is a bit of a genetic lottery that he did become one! So He lived a Muggle life...until he was accepted Tagetes Academy!

Magical school life was difficult for Derek, in the end, as he was trying to fit in but being a Muggle born it is hard. He wanted to be with his own friends especially in his final year. This was the time Derek fell in love with Clare Andrews...but the night of their Senior prom he fell and injured himself; during Quidditch practice and stood her up. When Derek graduated from Tagetes, he wanted to travel the world and meet other Witches and Wizards, so off to England he went! He found a job at the Minstry of Magic as the Quidditch World Cup Co-ordinator, as a huge fan and excellent player he knew that this was his dream job...

Personality: Derek is a kind of hard-headed, out-doorsy, fun-loving, and old fashioned. He definitely has a protective attitude over the ones he loves; especially over his kid sister Chase. He is also laid back, but loves to party. He is a little flirt most of the time, but he will never lead a girl on just to sleep with her...he is not that type of guy, he was brought up better than that. Romance is also a big part of Derek's personality as he loves to wine and dine the girl he is currently dating. Truthworthy, funny, good listener and sometimes jealous are also parts of Derek. He does not really like to be centre of attention or be made fun of.

Derek's shoulder has been uses throughout time as a place anyone can cry upon. He may not give the best advice, but he will do his best to try and make you feel better. Derek is not the obsesive type of guy, but he will protect you; whoever you are. Derek is also the type of guy that will get on with anyone, but he does have his boundries and if you cross them, you will know about it. Derek is a little shy to start with but he can become a huge example of converstation when he gets into the flow of schemes.

Appearance: Derek is a six foot and 2 & half inches tall guy, with large hazel-green eyes; which any girl could fall right into. He has short, bed-messy brown hair, he doesn't usually use any product unless he is on a date or something. Derek is always clean shaven, unless it is the morning after the night before. Derek is known for his athletic build and is huge smile, even though he is naturally slender, you know that he is strong. He can bench press 290 lbs and deadlift about 300 lbs and also Derek is very fast for his height. Derek has recently had to have glasses, not telling anyone...but he has chosen to have contacts.

Derek is a good looking boy, but he has never really believe it. When he was younger he uses to have acne, but due to the wonders of modern medicine his skin is all clear. Derek has a few childhood scars and no holes where there shouldn't be holes. He does have one tattoo of scriptive writing; the word is 'Loyal' and it is on his left wrist.
