Derek had only been in London a few days and he left that he did not know the place as well as he should, so he decided to walk to The Leaky Cauldron. He smiled at the thought of being able to walk around in his Wizard clothes and be relaxed, but first he had to walk through London city to get to the Cauldron before that could happen...for his first time walking around London he thought that Muggle clothes would be best, even though he spent most of his time in his Muggle clothes lately, he didn't really feel comfortable in them. He placed his wand, some Muggle and Wizard money and a sweater into his leather satchel and pulled himself through the strap. He sighed once more as the strap landed on his left shoulder. Keep it cool Derek! he thought to himself as he set out on his way to The Leaky Cauldron. There was one problem...Muggle transport!

He was a bag of nerves as he got closes to what the Muggles called The Tube. How could people travel in a huge tube? The Magical World in America is rather different to the British one. His hands were starting to sweat as he slowly walked down the steps in The Tube. His head was pounded with blood and as he saw the amount of people his heart started to beat even harder. In Derek's pocket was a map of this Tube system; he had to find the blue tube. He looked for the name of the blue tube that matched on his map. Panic was starting to rise within him, but as a large group of drunk Muggles were removed from in front of him, he saw it! The name of the blue tube - Victoria. He giggled to himself A tube named after a girl?!' He followed the signs and finally reached the place where he had to get into the Tube. Derek was surprised to find that it was not a tube; like the blood veins that lie under his skin, but a train! The colour left his face as quick as the people left this train. There were people behind him and they started to push past Derek and suddenly he was pulled through the door of this train.

It was only about ten minutes Derek had to be inside this train, his head was pounding harder but he was still pale. He must have looked strange to the Muggles using the blue tube, but if they did think that Derek was strange they did not show him. Finally he arrived at his stop, he quickly got out of the tube, followed the signs back up to the surface. He removed his map once again and followed the instructions of how to find The Leaky Cauldron. The colour slowly came back into his face as he got closer to the Cauldron.

He released a huge sigh when he saw the sign I made it! he thought to himself as he slowly opened the door and walked in.

He smiled as he knew that he was finally back in the Wizard world and away from Muggles...

Marie Ellen Wisteria - May 7, 2009 11:56 PM (GMT)
Marie slipped herself through a ragged purple tank top. Her clothes seemed to get more and more worn these days. She was wondering is her lack of pay was one of the causes. Probably. In the early days of her illness she had been optimistic about the future. She knew that she would only be affected once a month. She decided that if she could live through one monthly curse another shouldn't be to hard to handle. She smelled a pair of jeans that were on the floor. Determining them clean enough she slipped them on. Going to the small bathroom in her flat she checked her appearance. Her hair was slightly mussed but she had always had a thing for that just rolled out of bed look.

She sat at her desk for a few minutes quill poised over parchment. She needed to set up another pamphlet and get her cause out there. Lacking muse she pulled out an old pamphlet and quickly set to work making copies. After she had enough she pack them into a small leather pouch. Slipping on a pair of tattered trainers and a worn jean jacket she left the house heading to the Leaky. Hoping that she had enough Galleons to get her a quick shot of firewhiskey.

Marie hugged her coat closer to her and traveled the worn beaten path to her favorite haunt. Marie had often spent time in the small pub in the year before she had gotten bit. One night she went with a friend to a little pub in the woods. That night she was attacked.

In the years after she had spent sometime at the Leaky. Now it was her favorite place to hand out information on her cause. People who weren't open to her cause had started to avoid her. Still in as popular a place as the Leaky was there were always new faces. She smiled as the familiar sign greeted her.

She walked in set her self up and started handing out pamphlets.

Derek walked up to the bar and order some Gillywater, not a tradtional drink for a Wizard of his age, but for some strange reason Derek liked the flavour. He smiled as he waited to be served. The bar tender approached Derek and took his order. As Derek waited he drummed his fingers on top of the bar. His drink arrived in front of him, he picked it up, thanked the tender and walked up to an empty table. As he sat down a girl walked in. She had dark curly hair with some random pink streaks in. Derek tried to look at her face, as she had slightly slanted brown eyes and she had a rather large nose which has a ring in it. He also notice that she also has multiple other piercings in her ears. She is tall and with an atheletic build. She was handing out pamplets for something. He smiled at her as he thought about if he should speak to her or not. As he was a little interested in what she was handing out "Hello, excuse me?" he said towards the girl, also waving to her. He took a sip of his Gillywater.

((sorry that it is short & that it has taken me so long to reply - been a little busy))

Marie was not having any luck today people were starting to ignore her and she was not in the mood to get rejected. Still she tried. Her message wasn't going to get out there. She almost gave up when she heard a voice directed at her say "Hello, excuse me?" She saw a man at the bar with messy brown hair and gorgeous eyes. He was pretty slender and easy on the eyes. She could also see a hint of a tattoo on the wrist that was holding his glass. He was not a face she had seen in the bar before. Glad for a fresh face she walked towards the bar. She held one of her pamphlets in her hands. Putting on her best I-am-on-a-mission-face she held out a pamphlet to the man and said "Hello, I'm Marie Wisteria. I founded a little non-profit organization called The Werewolf Alliance. Here is some of our information."

((I didn't know you played Kelsey too lol. Don't worry my muse is running on empty this week also.))
