OK. So, as I was saying, our darling After Graduation has been open and running for one year as of today. Can you believe it's already been a year!

I'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the members. Each and every one of you is fantastic, and I am forever indebted to the people who have stuck with us through these past twelve months; through the occasional appearance of the drama llama, activity slumps and booms, Pinkie Pie and Batman, BHL and the loss of souls, ridiculous plotting threads, crazy cbox conversations, even crazier ships, and all the other moments that make our site so special. The admin may put together skins and documentation, but members make the site.

Speaking of admin: Spiv, you never cease to amaze with your ability to create characters and inability to add them to the Alters list. :P Seriously though, your co-adminship has been invaluable in keeping the site going this long.

Arty, in your time as an admin, you have already proven your value a million times over by taking care of some seriously daunting tasks. (The updated Archives Index? All her work. AMAZING.)


...I would address everyone individually, but they're starting to play the music which means I must finish my speech.

It's been a great year.

Some of the best moments: the breakout/break-in thread, Ross kissing Constance underwater, Ivy reuniting with Bram, anything with the Sinistras/Pinkie Pie, Ship Casper, aMYOOsing!, and the Snidge's transformation into a pregnant dragon lady. Oh, and Darien getting punched in the face! That was a great moment.

Now let's sit back, relax, reminisce, and turn up the music. I welcome everyone to party in this thread and enjoy the wonderfulness that is After Graduation!

*sniffs and wipes tears away* I'm so, so, so happy we've made it this far. Like I'm actually tearing up. I completely and totally second everything Carmen said about you members. You're all such wonderful people, and I thank you for believing in AG and dedicating yourselves to it the way you have.

Carmen: I'm sorry! It just...slips my mind.

Some of my favorite moments: finally getting to see Lucy HAPPY (you have no idea. I've had this character for years and her life has been nothing but angst), Patrick and Aleksandra in From Russia With Love, Apollo joining the staff of the Daily Prophet, killing off characters!, Lartegan...developing Constance *huggles ickle Conniekins*.

Ahh, good times.
