Welcome to After Graduation! Why don't you tell us a little about yourself?
Oh let's see, I suppose I'll start with my name: Amber. It's nice, it's simple, and it's my real name, so feel free to use it. I'm 21, happily married, and live in the middle of nowhere in the heart of America. I'm a youth leader at a small country church and by the end of the month my secret plan is to beat all of you over the head with my Bible and convert you to Christianity.
Okay, that's just my little joke. . . I poke fun at Christians, homeschoolers, and military kids because I was/am all of those things. In short, I like to laugh at myself and you are more than welcome to laugh with me. People are funny creatures.
Uhh... I'm not the best at these introductions so I'm gonna move right along and start talking about something far more interesting than myself.
We love you already. <3
Now that you've told us about yourself, why don't you tell us about your character? Here's a quick summary sheet to make it easy.
Describe your character in less than a paragraph.Sparrow is a kind, friendly, good-listening, muggle-born, Quidditch playing, cherry cola craving, military kid. She's one of those people that has the appearance of being good at everything and it's a blessing and a curse, something she'd give up in a heartbeat due to the curve balls it throws at her when it comes to her relationship with her older sister.
What's your posting style like? You know, I've never in my life been asked this question before and have no idea how to properly answer it. I tend to write up all my posts in Word, read over them several times, and make an effort to make them interesting and easily replied to. I guess I also try to get inside my character's head and really explain things from their perspective. But I dunno if that's a style or not, it's just the way I've always done things. :3
What sort of plots or roleplays are you interested in? Serious or light? Long-term or short? Both! All! Every kind! It really just depends on what's going on in my life at the moment and what plots are floating around the forums at the time. If I've got the time I love to delve into a long-term plot with a lot of twists and details. But. . . if I'm working to organize summer camp for my youth group I'm happy to join in a few single-thread plots that are rather light and fun.
Fantastic! Now I hope you've prepared yourself. You're about to be bombarded with welcomes and thread requests from many wonderful roleplayers.
*wild cheers!*
