Title: Day Off In The Alley...
Description: -open-

Kelsey Andersson - May 2, 2009 06:37 PM (GMT)
It was a peaceful and relaxed day for Kelsey, it was her day off from the Ministry even though there were a lot of problems with Muggles recently; it seemed that Kelsey was not needed as much being on the Magical Reversal Squad; which surprised Kelsey as she thought that she would be busy. She sighed as she left her home, she was wearing her Muggle clothes as she thought that it might be easier as the Muggles were currently looking for Wizards in Wizard clothing. She smiled at her neighbours as she headed towards the tube train station. She wanted some news books, as she had read all of the books she had bought when she first moved to London. Even though Kelsey read all types of books, she preferred Wizard fiction and she had heard that there are some new books in the bookstore in Diagon Alley. She reached the tube train station and got into the tube to Kings Cross. She was happy as she knew she was heading to a place where she felt more comfortable, it was just a shame that she had to wear her Muggle clothes there. The tube journey was quick and quiet, as it seemed that it must have been a quiet day within London as there were not many people on the tube...

Finally she arrived at Kings Cross and headed up to the surface. Kelsey had done this walk many times as a child and she knew the way with her eyes closed. She was now feeling at ease as she closer to The Leaky Cauldron as behind the pub was the Alley. She smiled, happily as she reached the door to the Cauldron and slowly opened it. The familiar smell of a wood burning fire and mead filled the air. She greeted the bar tenders with a caring smile as she walked through the pub and into the back yard where the entrance to Diagon Alley was. Relief rose from Kelsey as she removed her wand from her Muggle trousers and tapped the wall with it. Slowly the wall separated apart, leaving a clear archway out into the Alley. Kelsey smiled as walked through the archway; it was busier here than it was in the Muggle world. ‘There must be something happening for all the Muggles to be hiding and all the Wizards here?’ she thought to herself as she headed towards the bookstore. But she noticed something in the window of Sinistra's Secondhand Shop, she was draw to it...

To much, to much, can afford but ugly as all get out, Marie thought as she went through the robes at one of the pricier places in the Alley. Eventually if I do not get new robes soon I'm going to have to go naked which wouldn't help my werewolves are normal stance. She noticed she was getting dirty looks from the people in the store. She squared up her shoulders and a smile played on her lips. They could point and stare all they wanted she was proud of the fact that she was a werewolf. She was also proud of the fact that she had made her condition known to the world. I am werewolf here me roar. RAWR. She thought and a smile came to her face. She looked up from the rack and noticed that the apparent owner of the shop was coming towards her. "Excuse me," the owner said, "I'm going to have to ask you to leave.'
"Why?" Marie asked feigning confusion.
"A few of my costumers have told me that you are a werewolf."
"Yes and whats the problem with that?"
"I personally don't have a problem with it but many of my costumers are threatening to leave if I don't make you leave, and let's face it you can't afford any of these robes any way."
"Actually I can afford that one I just wouldn't be caught dead in it!" She replied and walked out of the store. Huffing and tightening her hold on her bag the young werewolf stormed down the Alley. There had to be somewhere where she could shop and actually afford the clothes. Looking over to her left she saw a woman about her age looking at a display. Marie went and stood next to her looking at the display also.
"Well that is interesting." She said to the girl.

((OOC: Marie is one school year younger than Kels, so they may have had classes together. I am going to assume that they know each other. Kels will not know about Marie being a werewolf...is that okay? You don't have a tangled thread...))

Kelsey walked into the shop, and continued to look at the window display. She had never seen something like this before, it was all shiny and it looked like it was pulsing a red-ish light. She smiled. Behind her there was a small problem, Kels started to listen
"Excuse me...I'm going to have to ask you to leave" This was the voice of the Apollo Sinstra, the owner of the shop. She smiled, as was imagining what he was wearing today. "Why?" This was the reply that was given to Apollo. Kelsey so wanted to turn around and watch this event unfold. "A few of my customers have told me that you are a werewolf." Apollo's voice was heard again, this time Kels gave a quick glance around. She saw a girl with dark brown curly hair which had some random pink streaks in it. Kels quickly turned her head back and continued to look at the beautiful item before her. "Yes and whats the problem with that?" Kelsey heard the girls voice again, it seemed that the girl was not impressed about being asked to leave. "I personally don't have a problem with it but many of my customers are threatening to leave if I don't make you leave, and let's face it you can't afford any of these robes any way." Apollo's voice arrived in Kelsey's ears once again, this was not like Apollo; he was usual so kind. Kelsey gripped her jeans tightly, she wanted to help. "Actually I can afford that one I just wouldn't be caught dead in it!" This was the last thing the girl said to Apollo. It make Kelsey laugh a little...then she felt a presenence behind her. She was about to turn around when Kels heard "Well that is interesting." Kelsey finally turned to the girl "Oh yes, it is..." she paused, the girl's face was rather familiar "...it drew me into the shop. I was actually on my way to the book shop..." Kelsey paused once again as she looked at the closer this time. "I am sorry, but have we met before?" she asked the girl.

Marie Ellen Wisteria - May 17, 2009 03:50 PM (GMT)
"Oh yes, it is..." the girl replied Marie could have sworn she went to Hogwarts with the red head. "...it drew me into the shop. I was actually on my way to the book shop... I am sorry, but have we met before?" She was also thinking the same thing Marie was. Marie looked at her again. She swore she had seen her before as well. The only place it could be is Hogwarts or one of my numerous jobs. I've worked just about everywhere. So, it's possible." Marie replied holding her hand out, "I'm Marie Wisteria." She waited for the girl to look away in disgust and not take her hand. She had to have heard the argument and it surprised her that the girl even spoke to her. She had seen people who she thought were her friends move to the other side of the street. Still she squared her shoulder reached into her bag and pulled out a pamphlet. "I'm also the founder of The Werewolf Alliance, a non-profit organization that will allow people with lycanthropy obtain and keep jobs."

Kelsey smiled as she listened to the girl as she explain who she was. "It could have been at Hogwarts, unless you have worked at Beauxbatons in France?" replied Kelsey "I was in Hufflepuff and I graduated in 2010..." she paused, thinking that this girl was not one of her house mates, as years had passed. "...which house were you in?" she asked, hoping that this girl was in another house. "Silly me...I have forgotten to introduce myself" she continued, lifting her hand out in front of her, ready for a hand shake "I'm Kelsey Andersson". Kelsey smiled as she waited for the girl to reply and to take her hands. Out of the corner of her eye, Kels could still the item, it was now pulsing a green-ish light. Sher turned her head back to the item. She tried to work out what it was and why had it drew Kelsey to it. Suddenly Kelsey remembered where she was and who she was with. She turned back to Marie and smiled.

{{OOC: sorry that was rubbish and short...}}

Marie Ellen Wisteria - May 27, 2009 12:35 AM (GMT)
"...which house were you in?" Marie was taken aback by the fact that the girl had not shied away from her yet. She grinned a little, "I was a Ravenclaw year under you. Never been to France so that has to be it." Marie laughed and the pulsating green thing made her peripheral vision want to throw up. "I'm Kelsey Andersson" The redhead replied and it set off a little remembrance in Marie's mind. "Now I think I might remember you. Or at least I don't think your a total random stranger." She stopped and looked at the window again. "All right I'm sore attempted to hex that garment into oblivion. It's very distracting."

((OCC: Mines even shorter and suckier don't feel bad.))

Kelsey Andersson - July 6, 2009 11:20 AM (GMT)
Kelsey followed Maria's glaze towards the garment in question. She agreed, it was distracting. "I quite agree, Maria, I quite agree" Kelsey smiled as she thought back to her days back at Hogwarts. Living in Hufflepuff must have been different than living in Ravenclaw "Do you see many of your house friends since you graduated, Maria?" she asked, she started to play with the end of her wand. Kelsey could feel that the other people within the shop were starting to stare at the two of them chatting; chatting like old friends. Kelsey gave a quick glance towards the other customers, they were whispering and pointing. "Maria, do you want to grab a drink somewhere..." she paused "...as I feel that neither of us are welcome here at this very moment" she continued.

((OOC: Sorry for the long delay, only recently got the internet back!))

Marie Ellen Wisteria - August 3, 2009 04:16 AM (GMT)
"I don't uh not after my accident any way," Marie replied to Kelsey's question turning to look back in the shop she grimaced slightly at the fact that people were pointing "Don't people have lives of there own to care about." She said out loud. Turning to Kelsey she replied. "Drinks would be great." She decided she would use the money for robes to get a bottle of friewhiskey.

[Sorry so long to post I was at camp and then I had rehearsals]
