Title: Griselda Campbell
Description: Cougar and Novelist

Griselda Campbell - June 11, 2009 09:11 PM (GMT)
Griselda is... cheeky. To the worst extreme.

With a number of lovers under her belt, Ms. Campbell is the author or such novels as Nile Queen, Gaelic Geisha and Scottish Rose that are fantasations of her experiences in Egypt, Japan, and England with her various sugar daddies. After finally having a man go through her, she refuses to come to grips with her own increasing age and does herself up in the latest fashions, affordable now with a number of novels under her belt to bring in the gold. Of her two soft spots, one is her age (she will always lie) and the other is the common critique of her writing. Yes, it really happened. Maybe... not exactly as written, but it did happen. She did gloss over a few physical encounters and added a few consumations that didn't really happen, but it's writing, darling! We embellish it all a little bit, do we not? As it is, these hunks did and do exist. (The fact that the bastard in Japan and the fool in Egypt are both deceased now has absolutely nothing in common with her character's reputation for killing her husbands. Griselda's never married. And... although she'd love to confess to killing said scum... she doesn't really have the guts to go through with it).

As it is, she also has a sharp tongue that she will use to destroy anyone and anything, a la Rita Skeeter (filthy bug stole some of her work! That quill was Charmed with some of her words!) and just needs a fresh paper that hasn't experienced the kind of hate mail a witch such as Griselda can conjure.

Of course, if you're a young wizard, Griselda would have other things in mind... Power is alluring, as is gold, and she's a very single lady...

Well, if no one else will, I'll RPG with you, dearie. I consort with all types.

Kelsey Andersson - July 6, 2009 11:05 AM (GMT)
Hey I'm Jemma...

I've currently got two characters here:

Kelsey Andersson: Kelsey is smart, nice, thoughtful, patient, sensitive, and likes to joke around. But when she get’s past her pressure point, she will explodeswith anger. She's ambitious, helpful and caring with it comes to toher people. By nature, Kelsey is an academic. She loves to learn. At times, Kelsey is reminded of her past and then becomes depressed; but this does not happen as much since she worked at Beauxbatons in France for over a year. When it comes to love and romance, she falls in and out of love very quickly, at her age she should be looking for a man to settle down with...but Mr Right has not yet arrived. Kelsey is the youngest of two girls (sister is Mattie Andersson) and is cousin to Nessa and she is currently working on Level Three of the Minsitry as a member of the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad.

Derek D'Ambrosio: Derek is a six foot and 2 & half inches tall guy, with large hazel-green eyes; which any girl could fall right into. He has short, bed-messy brown hair, he doesn't usually use any product unless he is on a date or something. Derek is always clean shaven, unless it is the morning after the night before. Derek is known for his athletic build and is huge smile, even though he is naturally slender, you know that he is strong. He can bench press 290 lbs and deadlift about 300 lbs and also Derek is very fast for his height. Derek has recently had to have glasses, not telling anyone...but he has chosen to have contacts. Derek is a good looking boy, but he has never really believe it. When he was younger he uses to have acne, but due to the wonders of modern medicine his skin is all clear. Derek has a few childhood scars and no holes where there shouldn't be holes. He does have one tattoo of scriptive writing; the word is 'Loyal' and it is on his left wrist. Derek is American and attended Tagetes Academy and graduated in 2014. Derek is currently the Quidditch world Cup Organizer at the Ministry.

Griselda Campbell - July 6, 2009 05:42 PM (GMT)
*raises an eyebrow* Might we perhaps get something going with Derek? A handsome man of some influence could be fun, and he's still so young and fresh...

((OOC: *gags*))

Sofia Robards - July 7, 2009 09:23 PM (GMT)
Griselda meet Apollo….Apollo don't jump the poor woman, wait till after the intros first!

I’m Apollo, just coming back from a three week (or is it a month now? *shrug* no matter) long absence, so apologies for not posting here sooner. Anyway I play Apollo Sinistra, Zippy Sinistra, and Sofia Robards.

Apollo Sinistra: He’s a flamboyant fashion freak with a love of glitter, gold, shimmery things in general and the latest trend – usually created by him. He’s a co-owner of the Sinistra Secondhand Shop with his twin sister Artemis and the fashion ‘prophet’ for the daily prophet. Apollo is also a proud member of the boy’s club (Atlas, Jasper, Wendell, Will and himself). He’s pretty fun loving and knows everyone and everything that needs to be known about social scenes and fashion – oh and he’ll hit on anyone. He’s currently father’s a love child that he doesn’t know about with Carmen and well open to making more friends or offering fashion advice. Anyway I figure he and Griselda might have fun interacting together. Most things of an unfriendly nature go over his head but he’s got youth, has a set of followers, doesn’t stay with any one woman for very long, and pretty much figures he is a god. They have to connect on some level me thinks.

Zippy Sinistra: Apollo and Artemis’s slightly insane grandfather that is an ex-unspeakable. They retired him at a young age when he started talking to things no one else could see, which isn’t that crazy when you account he did a lot of work with trying to communicate and discover the spirit world. Married old man – I don’t know how much if any interaction they would have.

Sofia Robards: She’s the newly made department head of aurors (one of the youngest in history) that comes from a long line of prestigious purebloods and aurors. She fell in love with one of her contacts (Wendell Darrow) and broke him out of jail then found out he died and then started dating him in his alter-ego form of Dillan Wentworth who posing as an auror. Fell in love again. Then she found out the whole Dillan is really Wendell thing and is not all that emotionally balanced to say the least. Um I don’t think they travel in the same circles but I am open to ideas.

Griselda Campbell - July 10, 2009 03:55 PM (GMT)
Well, don't let her get wind of the Wendell/Dillan bit of business. She'd go to town with it and publish it in her gossip collumn.

...Or do we want that?

Likewise, I'd have her avoid the Sinistras. With Apollo being so flamboyant. She's bound to find him captivating enough (and popular enough) to make up some kind of nasty business that isn't true. Although the love child thing might also be very publishable.

I might avoid her, or else accidently bump into her and spill some beans unintentionally. This might be her big break!

Let me know what you think...

Sofia Robards - July 10, 2009 11:30 PM (GMT)
Er... Griselda would have to duke it out with Lola... or possibly Carmen if she wanted to even attempt such a thing. Sofia isn't a talker nor is Wendell and would Griselda have the guts to take on the Robards? Most people in their right mind wouldn't want to piss them off... so I'm thinking that one might be a no. She would have to know where to look for evidence as well since Sofia's position allowed her to hide all of the Dillan scandal rather well. It will come out eventually only I have no idea who is getting that news worthy gold.

However you can make up as much as you want about Apollo. In fact I encourage it whole heartily. There is nothing he wouldn't do and I'm pretty sure his following would eat up her articles if they concerned him. Carmen is all about smearing his name anyway so her boss would just love having another medium to bash Apollo in. Seeing as the love child is Carmen's Griselda would have to sneak that small bit past her or risk the wrath of Carmen (or the lasers of lust as Apollo views it). No rumor is to crazy if Apollo is involved - best bit is he would just see her as a fan and possibly attempt to make some of the rumors true.

As far as bean spilling look no further than Apollo. Sparkle brained there can't keep a secret for the life of him. He doesn't have any good dirt right now but if Sofia and Jasper start dating he'll be one to talk about that couple quite happily.

Then I think a meeting of Griselda and Apollo might be good. Although a party at Jarvey's is her element, I wouldn't think it out of character for her to stop by at the Sinistra shop to see the fashions columnist in person -- even if just out of boredom or curiousity. She might enjoy his fashion or not take him seriously. I haven't decided yet. She seems to be a rather fickle person, actually.

Let me know what you think would do best.

Alexandra Eelanor - July 14, 2009 08:30 AM (GMT)
If you'd be interested in a bit of a run in between Alexandra and Griselda, I'm sure we can stir up some sort of drama bits to make life a bit more exciting and profitable for Griselda, while slightly more stressful for miss jumpy auror. XD

Perhaps an interview where she's attempting to address the concerns of insufficiency at the Ministry and Griselda can twist things round? Accuse Alchoholism? I'm willing to definitely work out anything that you'd like to do! <3

Artemius Baxby - July 19, 2009 06:57 PM (GMT)
Sure thing, dearie. How about an interview at Fortescue's? You start or me?

Griselda Campbell - July 20, 2009 07:03 PM (GMT)
Actually, Apollo, I've just posted in one of the open threads in the Secondhand Shop, if you don't mind...
