History:
The Early Years
Phoebe's mother was a half-blood witch who graduated in 1994 from Gryffindor house. She married a muggleborn wizard who graduated in 1993 from Hufflepuff. The two had been school sweethearts and got married in 1995 after a two-year engagement. Phoebe was born a year later and was the only child born to the couple. In 1997 when the Ministry was overtaken by those sympathetic to the Dark Arts, muggleborns were being rounded up. Her father went into hiding but was captured by Snatchers after only a couple months. He was tried and put into Azkaban where he passed away in a few weeks when he went mad and stopped eating. Her mother was a mediwitch working on house calls mostly. In 1998, she left her daughter with the baby's aunt and fought in the Battle of Hogwarts. Thankfully, she survived the fighting though she had two fingers on her left hand severed in the battle. Besides that rather tumultuous time in her life, Phoebe grew up with her single mother in the outskirts of London. She had a middle-class magical life, reading Tales of Beadle the Bard and helping her mother with magical plants in the garden.

School Years:
Phoebe received her letter at the age of 11 and couldn't have been more excited. Her mother was very proud and happy as well and among her school things, she tucked away the wizarding photograph of her father. It took the sorting hat a little time to place her, debating between Hufflepuff or Gryffindor. In the end, she wished hard to be like her father, his picture tucked safe away under her cloak, and then she was placed. She couldn't have been happier. While in school, she joined the gobstones club and was a prefect her fifth year though she chose not to continue to do so in her sixth. She did very well in Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures, not so well in Divination or Astronomy (both of which she chose not to continue taking after fifth year). She graduated with seven OWLs and NEWTs to which her doting mother was very impressed.

Since Graduation:
After graduation, Phoebe gained a job as an entry-level Wizengamot Administration Services Secretary, sorting paperwork and setting up trial dates and times. Soon after, she transferred to the Muggle-Worthy Excuse Committee on Level 3 in the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes unit. She likes it much better here so far and is glad for the switch. She's currently living with a fellow Ministry Employee friend of hers in a flat in London.

Personality:
Loyal: Phoebe is fiercely loyal to the side of good. Her mother fought for what is right and her father died because of the Dark Arts. She is adamant in he idea of right and wrong and unwavering in her faith in the power of good. On the lighter side, she is always a loyal friend and family member. She is dependable and would do anything to keep those she loves safe and happy.

Honest: It was instilled in the young girl to always tell the truth. She believes that it is better to be persecuted for who she is than to live as who she is not. She knew her father never renounced his muggle heritage, even when it meant being thrown into prison. When asked her opinion, she isn't afraid of offering it though when it is necessary to protect someone she loves or the such, she would do her best to save them, even if that meant lying. There are always cases that would require a stray from the ordinary personality traits but for the general purpose, she is very honest and genuine.

Brave: Now, when people think of brave, it may occur to them to think of a person with a sword weathering a battle. Phoebe would fight if she must but she prefers a different kind of bravery. She's the type that would help out a person in dire need of her assistance. She's the one who would be behind the scenes trying to save people than out on the front lines fighting for her cause. Her bravery is a quiet kid of bravery but it's still there.

Compassionate: Phoebe cares about people. She is genuinely concerned with others well-being. She can't imagine seeing someone in pain or need and not helping them. She's an animal lover as well and is the type to save homeless kittens and nurse them back to health. She's even yielding to her enemies at times when she believes it is right to help and not harm them.

Emotional: A downside to being so compassionate is that it makes Phoebe a bit emotional. When an animal dies or she gets bad news, she's quick to tears. When someone is mean to her or someone she cares for, she is quick to anger and annoyance. She basically wears her heart on her sleeve and it is usually very easy to tell what she is feeling in any given situation.

Stubborn: When challenged, Phoebe sticks to her ideas. she believes what she does and it is very difficult to change her mind. When she has a bad impression of someone, it is hard to make it good and though she is wary of people (as she should be these days) once you have her good side, it is hard to make her see you as bad. She is unwavering in her ideals and whether or not that is a good thing depends on the situation. Also, when she wants something, it is hard to make her give up on it, even when it seems unattainable.

Appearance: Phoebe is about five foot seven inches tall and slim/average build. Her complexion is beige with pink undertones. Her face is oval in shape with prominent cheekbones and a small cleft in her chin. She has long, wavy brown hair which is often medium/to dark but can appear lighter in the spring and summer when there is more light. It's usually parted to the left. Her eyes are almond shaped and heavy-lidded. They are ocean-blue in color and can appear violet at times. Oh, she also has dimples on each cheek when she smiles. When it comes to clothing, she wears the usual robes to work and such but always brings muggle clothes (usually jeans and tops) to dress in on her way back from work since she lives in muggle London. When in muggle clothing, she loves girly tops and fun skirts. She likes to dress up and has been known to go window-shopping with her roommate and try on pretty dresses and things. She also has a shoe problem...
