Title: Attention Everyone!

Logan Fletcher - June 18, 2009 03:19 PM (GMT)
Carmen and I have some bad news to share with you all.

Our good friend Lanette (or Arty, as most of you know her) was in a car accident last night on her way home from work. She was making a left turn and got broad-sided. She's pretty severely injured; both her femurs and wrists are broken, and she has a concussion. She was non-responsive last night, but my information is that this morning she was responding. The last we heard was that she's still in the ICU.

Whatever your religion or belief system, please, send your prayers and good karma Arty's way. If any of you want to send her a message, post it here or PM it to Carmen or me and we'll see that it gets to her.

This is going to be rough, but we'll get through it together.

That's terrifying. Although I didn't get to know her, I wish her a full, and fast and healthy recovery.
She's in my prayers.

my Prayers are certainly and lovingly with her.

I shall keep her in my prayers and have sent an official request to one of the ladies in my church, and she will pass it on to others. We will definitely keep her in prayer.

My best wishes!

My thoughts and prayers are with her, and with you. I know how terrifying this situation can be, from both sides of the coin, and I am sending you many, many virtual hugs and plenty of prayers.

This is what I know as of today: they've operated on the femur and put a rod in her leg, and have also operated on her wrists. They may have to operate on her left elbow but are waiting until she's fully awake to see if she can extend her arm. They've taken out the breathing tube and put in a filter to catch any blood clots that may form. There appear to be no internal injuries other than broken bones.

In her mom's words, "Lanette is much more alert this morning and talking to me. For those of you who know what I am talking about Lanette recognized Pinky pie this morning."

That certainly made me smile! We'll keep you posted. <3

yay for Pinkie Pie!

Although I am only vaguely aware of its prescence and have never met/interacted with this infamously AG, legendary creature/character, I know that this is a good thing, yes?

:D Best wishes!

~Artie
