Title: Made for my character game
Ivy Ballantine - May 17, 2008 05:55 AM (GMT)
I frequently come across something that makes me laugh and say "That song/picture/quote/etc. was made for my character!"
For example, this music video had me in hysterics. The Irish crew will know why.

Has this ever happened to you?

Made for the BHL/MLE:

You know...it would be made for the BHL/MLE if the BHL/MLE were an Italian crime organization. Same difference. :P

Haylee Perdido - June 10, 2008 06:59 AM (GMT)
This song was made for Haylee, it so describes her:

Dermont Walmsley - October 25, 2008 07:12 AM (GMT)

So it's not a song; it's an interview/screen test/thing with Matthew Goode, but it's positively rank with Montisms. Rank. :D
And I'd found it after I'd chosen him too. *proud of self*
Calixtus Ferox - October 25, 2008 08:16 AM (GMT)
OK, so you have to fast-forward to exactly seven minutes into this, and you'll get a gesture that's just.. quintessentially Cal. Mouthwash. The rest is pretty awful (it's a really bad movie), but there are some awkward!Cal moments. Anyway--yeah, seven minutes.

I hadn't heard of youtube tags before... huh.

Oh! And this is is made for Ivy, in particular around the 4:35 - 5:00 mark. (It's a little sexy, just so you know. Her expression when she laughs is perfect!)

Calixtus Ferox - December 28, 2008 10:44 PM (GMT)
OK, this isn't for one of my characters, but it is for Jasper. It's a clip from the Altman film 'Nashville'--the character singing the song is a very debonair playboy who's slept with three of the women in the audience. Anyway, I just thought of Jasper.

"Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps"- Cake
You won't admit you love me.
And so how am I ever to know?
You always tell me
perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.
A million times I've asked you,
and then I ask you over again,
you only answer
perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.
If you can't make your mind up,
we'll never get started.
And I don't want to wind up
being parted, broken-hearted.
So if you really love me,
say yes.
But if you don't, dear, confess.
And please don't tell me
perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.
(Solo Section)
If you can't make your mind up,
we'll never get started.
And I don't want to wind up
being parted, broken-hearted.
So if you really love me,
say yes.
But if you don't, dear, confess.
And please don't tell me
perhaps, perhaps, perhaps,
perhaps, perhaps, perhaps,
perhaps,
perhaps,
per………….haps
I didn't want to post a video since I have no speakers and can't make sure it's the right song...but yeah. YouTube it yourself if you wish. :D
Logan Fletcher - March 21, 2009 08:50 PM (GMT)
I have speakers now! Woo!

Atlas Caedmon - April 1, 2009 05:17 AM (GMT)
Need I say more?
Ivy Ballantine - April 1, 2009 01:16 PM (GMT)
Atlas is always right.
This music team is like Artemis and Apollo incarnate. I can totally see them playing with string and singing into fans.
Oh No! KaiserCartel.

Roscoe Blaine - May 24, 2009 03:09 AM (GMT)
Made for Jasper/The Boy's Club:
At Least I'm Not As Sad (As I Used to Be), fun.Have you ever wondered about our old nu-metal friends and what became of them?
Turns out I saw them a couple of days ago,
They were laughing and drinking and smoking and singing.
C’mon, can you count all the notches in your belt?
I'd rather not, let's just say I'm starving myself.
Baby, put your name down on a piece of paper,
I don’t want no savior baby, I just wanna have a good time
Oh, oh, At least I’m not as sad as I used to be.
And they said,
"Hey Nate, yeah, it’s been a while,
Are you gonna sing?"
And I began to smile and I said,
"You should’ve seen me a couple of years ago,
I was laughing and drinking and smoking and singing."
C’mon can you count all the loves that didn’t last?
It’s such a gas when you bring up the past.
Baby, put your name down on a piece of paper.
I don’t want no savior baby
I just wanna get it out.
Oh oh, oh, At least I’m not as sad as I used to be.
Oh oh, oh, At least I’m not as sad as I used to be.
At least I’m not as sad as I used to be.
And they say we would’ve seen you two years ago
Had you stuck around or come out to a show,
But youth’s taken over by rock and roll,
While we were laughing and drinking and smoking and singing....
So I left, That is it. That’s my life, Nothing is sacred.
I don’t keep friends,I keep acquainted,
I’m not a prophet, But I’m here to profit.
That’s all, I’m gone! That’s my life, Nothing is sacred.
I don’t fall in love, I just fake it.
I don’t fall in love. I don’t fall in love.
