Here's How It Works...This thread is for members and admin!
The
admin, more commonly known as Carmen, Spiv, and Arty, will post weekly updates about what has been going on around the site out of character and in character. This will help everyone know what events are happening and what general time we're at in the tale of AG.
Members can post once a week letting people know where
they are with their characters, plots, and anything else pertaining to their participation at the site, including stuff that's happening in real life.
Although we'll still be using the Absences and Returns thread, as well as all the threads in the Threading Center, this will give you a chance to keep everyone updated on a more regular basis.
Part of that reason is because we're dating, :coughcough:
What's up in my end of the world? At present, Artemius is getting quite used to working -- in fact, he's found that the midnight shift does rather well for him -- not going in until 11, getting out in the morning -- it works for him. He's also seeing about getting finances for a new Cottage (saving up money from his own income and his mother's, asking for donations via advertising) and when he's got enough money, he hopes to open a loan at Gringotts for it. Things will have to start out slow, but his mother's work can continue. As far as personal life, he's met a number of folks around town, including an old friend and, after a few first dates, found Arista, an auror who he found particularly fascinating, and one can say they're dating right now. Still, he's a friendly type, and is always up for a friendly drink. He's liable to be seen around the Ministry after work, or else hanging out in the Leaky Cauldron for a drink.
Zimmerman, whose daughter has recently taken off for her own Zimmerman World Tour (getting herself familiar with the numerous family businesses in countries around the world, to see which business she would like to get into herself, or not) has just hired young Daisy Li to help him around the shop. He's found that Apollo Sinistra, although exceedingly eccentric in his fashion tastes, is a wonderful source of income. The only downside is that Apollo then takes the clothing he buys with wholesale discount from Zim and transforms them into his trademark monstrosities. In a way, it's a blessing and a curse, and so, there seems to be a small rivalry brewing between the two fashion shops. While Sinistra provides eccentric, top of the line fashion, Zimmerman holds true to classic design and fine suits and fashions. Although they, too, have bright and eccentric, it's a more sophisticated style, while Apollo calls to the madness in everyone.
As for Griselda, she has managed to get back into her weekly ladies' tea, and is writing again, in particular getting her eye on the eccentric Mr. Sinistra, and courting the young Mr. Austen. She's a bit under the radar still, but she's working well on getting her way back into the swing of things.

So it has been a really insane summer on my end, i've been checking in on occasion but I haven't really had alot of time on my hands to devote the time that this place deserves. That having been said I am now in a much better position to be around and about. So that's whats up in real life as for in character....
Shallah has obtained the directions for reproducing the 4th unforgivable and is currently sitting on top of the information in hopes that it will prove useful later. Garrow is now working with them has is Carmen. The group is in the process of stirring up rumors that all attacks upon half bloods and muggle borns are blood motivated rather than attacks planned to weaken faith in the Ministry as a whole. Thats where things are if anyone has any ideas pm me to let me know!
