Title: Shady Dealings With A Side Of Cocktails
Description: [Patrick]

Alexandra Eelanor - October 1, 2009 05:48 AM (GMT)
There was no work like undercover work and as a somewhat unknown in the rank of aurors, Alexandra was always happy to take the case. Besides- with her talents in the mind, the jobs were the best suited. No family, no ties- nothing to loose. Not that others saw it that way but really, in the end, that's how she saw it. How she saw it, how the rest saw it, how anyone saw it didn't matter. In the end, she ws here and in the dead of night, who she really was didn't matter. Not with the so cleverly conceived deception. Sure, if someone knew her, talked to her perhaps outside of the realm of crime they could possibly see through the spells.. but it was, as she saw it, highly unlikely. To them Alexandra Eelanor was nothing more than, if anything at all, a name.

Tonight, however, she'd been Elaine Ratchsmith. No one important really, just a quiet little cog in the bigger scheme of things. Potions making. Illegal varieties that the wealthy generally just couldn't get enough of. She was established through channels, however and so any direct dealings would be an absolute no. And with the channel being someone who didn't really exist and a notion that wasn't even most people's own deceiving.. well, she didn't have to worry about the lies catching up- there was no one to even know them. Not completely.

Even when she'd spent the entire night working out the ins and out of recent crime, taking mental notes about who was who, where who was what and anything else she could manage it wasn't enough. Knock turn alley served perfect for this and while she kept herself from thieves Road for rather particular reasons, knock turn alley was alive with enough whispers that it didn't quite matter. A shady deal here, a shady deal there. With the influence of women that now possibly ruled the crime circuits as long as she looked as if she belonged- which she did in the moment- she'd get left alone. It was already midnight- around her.. business was quickly dwindling. But she? She was making her way slowly towards the ultralounge. Criminal activity probably wasn't the major deal, here, but that didn't mean she couldn't see who was consorting with who in the after hours. But there was still one last group exchanging business.

Her eyes kept going over the small amount of people in front of her, from her vantage on the edge of an offshoot alley. She took no physical notes of course, not wanting the evidence should someone take notice and question her. It didn't even take a clever disguise to really make her look different from her typical counterpart. With her hair pulled back into a slick pulled back number, a black jacket over a simple red dress and heals that added height to her stature that generally wasn't there. Over that, of course, a cloak that disguised the modernness of her wear that was intended for the later events of the ultralounge.

The crowd could already be seen filtering into the place- the hip trendy barely stepping into knockturn to go to their saturday night hotspot... and the few from knockturn who went there for the drinks that were far away from the brightness of the leaky cauldron.
