OWLs/NEWTs: After a lot of hard work and studying, Anna managed to receive top marks on her exams.
History: David and Betty Hamilton gave birth to their daughter Anna in their house outside a small wizarding town called Larksford. There Anna grew up under their loving care where she grew into a young woman. Somewhere along the way her brother, Josh, was born as well. His birth brought the already close family closer. Her parents were very protective of her and she grew up very sheltered. Anna turned and twelve was whisked off to school at Hogwarts where she was sorted into Hufflepuff. The first three years were a big struggle for. She showed very little magical ability, almost to the point of being the other students calling her a quib. No one was friends with her and those were some of the loneliest years of her life. But Anna’s fourth year was the year she grew, not only as a person but as a young witch too. She began to feel more confident with herself and made a few friends. Although she never became “little miss popular,” she was content with her life.
The years past quickly and before she knew it, Anna had graduated from Hogwarts and was put out into the working world. She started as a nurse at St. Mungo’s scraping the toe fungus off the elderly patients. But Anna worked hard and worked her way up to the position of Mediwitch. It was a great surprise to her and something that came as quite a shock when she found out that she would be leaving the safe confines of the hospital to go out into the dangerous lines of fire, healing wounded aurous and pulling dare-wizards out of the stomachs of dragons. She found that she loved it though and she really threw herself into her work.
She lives in a flat in London where she spends most of her time outside of work. Not having many friends leaves her there or looking after her little brother, Josh. Being a complete bum and gambling his life away… almost literally, has caused Anna to become almost his second mom to him. Tension has been building and Anna is getting more and more angry with her brother while not wanting to let him go because he is one of her only friends.
Personality:
Anna is a good person, rarely getting into any trouble and always being nice to everyone. Her very sheltered upbringing has left her very introverted and unsocial. Although Anna is a friendly person, she is just as incredibly shy. This leaves her with very little friends and just the desire to want to make more. She has no idea how she should go about doing it and how she should act. This leaves her quite lonely and secluded. After work she typically goes back to her flat and buries her face in a book where she can embed herself into the life of someone else who has much more fun than she does.
Anna wants friends and puts an effort into finding them but always comes up short. Her efforts always come off as forced or awkward or weird. The girl just doesn’t know what to do and is never been able to get her head around the whole practice of socializing.
With her new job as a Mediwitch, Anna has surprised even herself with the bravery and confidence she can have when put under pressure to do well and save the lives of the people she meets through her work.
