  • In the Heat of the Morning: Wendell drops off some stolen goods at Jasper Christie’s shop, but is spotted by new Level Two department head Benjamin Astbury. Wendell escapes, but Jasper is forced to summon Will Channing to pretend to be his boyfriend to throw Astbury off the trail.
  • Into the Fire: Edward Garrow is treated by Darien Holywell after a severe splinching; Lucy Ballantine, summoned at the urging of the Junior Undersecretary, reveals her true past to Darien, who is less than willing to hear it.
  • Invocation and Instruction to the Audience: Atlas is inducted into the Boy’s Club.
  • Irresistable Force, Meet Immovable Object: Edward Garrow visits Calixtus Ferox to collect a commission and deliver payment.
  • It’s Impossible to be Undead in a Poncho: Jasper and Atlas bring Rudolph to the Sinistra’s Shop for a shopping spree, and Rudolph falls in love with the lovely Arty.
