History:
Elizabeth was born the fourth child of a poor wizarding family from Spinner's End. She would later be followed by two more, so it is safe to say that she would have most likely been overlooked as an inconsequential daughter in a sea of other children if it were not for her remarkable temper. I say remarkable, because she had one, quite a volatile one at times that was constantly getting her in trouble. The middle child is often unfairly labeled the problem child, but in this case it is quite possibly true. Her quarrelsome nature meant that she got in a lot of scraps with her siblings, and even more when she began to attend Hogwarts.

However, even as a troublemaker she was overshadowed by one of her numerous siblings, for her eldest brother Wendell graduated from Hogwarts with a degree in crime more so than magic. Though to be fair, he didn't fully descend into the 'black pits of vice' as her father liked to call it until a few years later, when their brother Tom was killed in an accident. There were loud quarrels after that, which rocked the entire family and ended with Wendell quitting the family never to return. Of course Lizzie was still there, and still in school so she was left to see what happened to the family in the absence of her two elder brothers. She was the oldest child left at home (for her only sister the eldest Darrow child had married straight out of Hogwarts).

Her parents disowned Wendell as their son, and wept over the fate of their second son. Her younger brothers were inconsolable, and Lizzie was fit to be tied. She had always gotten on with her two elder brothers better than the other members of her family, and now she was left with cranky parents and her annoying little brothers. She continued to cause trouble, but she eventually graduated Hogwarts. However, her parents seemed determined that they would not make the same mistakes with Lizzie, Ben and Petie that they had made with their other children. So they pestered her terribly about getting a job, or finding a nice young chap to settle down with, not in the least concerned with her desires for fun and adventure.

Eventually they had another arguement (with Lizzie many normal rational conversations often turn into arguments), and it ended with Lizzie's determination to follow in Wend's footsteps to quit the family and run off to London. So that's where she's headed, perhaps to meet up with Wendell, but more importantly to do what she wants (at least until her temper cools down enough to see reason).

Personality: Liz has always held the coveted position of the most hot-tempered member of her family. Perhaps it came as a result of having mostly brothers, but she was constantly getting to scrapes as a child. Her parents still aren’t certain whether they received more owls from Hogwarts about Liz’s misdeeds or her infamous criminal older brother. She’s quick to anger, and often jumps head first into fights and arguments without thinking. This unfortunately means she often misconstrues things and ends up getting in over her head and needs someone to bale her out of trouble. She doesn’t like taking orders from anyone, and will probably give you a hard time if you demand she do things. Like her brother Wendell, she’s a bit of a flirt, and often tries to use her “feminine wiles” to get what she wants. She has also been working on trying to be taken more seriously.
