Well hello. The name is Sarah for those of you who don't know. I'm 18 and getting ready to move 3 hours away from home to go to college- currently living in Ohio. I have 4 sisters and 4 parents, and a long-distance boyfriend that keeps me from my computer sometimes. I don't have any RL friends who roleplay, but Brockly has kind of transitioned to a RL friend... I've roleplayed with him, Spiv, and Carmen in the past (w00t Dissie!) but haven't roleplayed in FOREVER so you're going to have to put up with the training wheels version of Sarah.

Describe your character in less than a paragraph.
She used to be pureblood, very wealthy, and silent for the vast majority of the time due to her hatred for everyone else on the planet. Now she's pureblood, nowhere near as wealthy, and no longer silent, although she still tends to hate absolutely everyone.

What's your posting style like?
Slow. I think I beat Brockly when it comes to being a slow poster, and the fact that I'm out of habit won't help that. I don't like posting if I'm not really proud of my post though, so when I do get around to posting, I've spent a lot of time on it and put a lot of thought into it. They're usually 5-8 paragraphs, 3 paragraph minimum for myself- my longest post was 1500 words. As far as action vs. settings vs. dialogue vs. thoughts.... I go for a balance usually, although it leans towards a focus on thoughts with Ella since she's so quiet.

What sort of plots or roleplays are you interested in? Serious or light? Long-term or short?
A combination is good. I'm hoping to fit her into the whole site plot in the blood war thing- all the other Dissie characters here were on the winning side of the Irish wars, so I thought it would be interesting to drag her into the mix. The whole husband-hunt is just a light whatever kind of thing, but it also plays into the blood purity thing.

Hiya Sarah! Arty, here! (Although, you probably remember me better as Holly/Madame Quigg/various other people from Dissie). Not sure whether any of my characters would logically interact with Ella or not,but I wanted to say hi...and I'll introduce them anyway.

Artemis Sinistra: Co-owner of Sinistra's Secondhand shop with her twin brother Apollo. She is more sensible of the two...has a lot of man trouble right now. She spends copious amounts of time helping customers in her shop...so if Ella ever drops by she will probably meet Arty.

Wendell Darrow: Criminal/blackmarketeer. Likes to flirt with the Brunette Hottie League, especially Sofia. Currenly in jail because Ivy arrested him. He's going to break out soon though.

Elizabeth Darrow: Wendell's little sister, she has a very quick temper that tends to cause her a lot of problems. Basically she runs around getting in various arguments with different people. And will probably end up doing some criminal activites herself.

Neville will definitely be on Ella's list of potential husbands, solely because he's pureblood. And Artemis, is Wendell pureblood? If so, he'll land on her list too regardless of criminal history :P

I've decided that Neville won't be on the list, but not because Ella has any sense of morals. Her family's crazy traditional and having Ella chasing after married men probably wouldn't look good for the fam- the only married guy who made the cut was Edward Garrow, but that's because Ella doesn't know he's married.

I need more plottage though! I'm really used to having elaborate plots drawn out for my charries and I'm failing at the whole "getting back on the bike" thing without that. Help!

Well if you are not going to chase good 'ol nevv he's usually found in the Leaky Culdron. Currently he's visiting George t the shop and George is looking for some part-time help. Anything come to mind that we could do that does not include your list of 5 .... LOL .... I would be open to.

Hmm... I think I'll make a post in the Leaky Cauldron. Perhaps Nev could try and make small talk and be pleasant? She doesn't react well to kindness from strangers, especially if his was one of the names she recently had to cross off lol

I wanted to get some more plottage in before I started posting around, mainly because I don't want to just get lost in the mix here. I'd still like to do a topic in the Leaky Cauldron, but I want to have an idea about how she'll mesh with other characters and where I can find a spot for her =/

I'm so swamped in plottage already that I have little to offer, but perhaps something with Logan. Edward will be going to jail soon, so I imagine that would get him crossed off Ella's list, but I think it'd be funny to see Ella pursuing Logan, who has never even been romantically interested in anyone but Artemis.

Logan is this: pureblooded, intelligent, wealthy (his family isn't, but the Department of Mysteries pays well and he's been a miser for nine years). Is that enough for Ella? Haha!

Logan has just landed himself at the very top of Ella's list- pureblooded and wealthy was all she needed to hear :) And now I have a very amusing picture of Ella trying to arrange a jailcell wedding... as long as she got the money, it isn't all that important that she actually see her husband.

Haha, for the record Arty will curse Ella back to Ireland if she tries to steal Logan. The poor girl has had enough difficulties in the men department.

I laughed so hard when I saw Wendell on your list. I would love to see a thread of her meeting him. I don't know whether or not she'd actually like him as a person. I've always thought Darrow's are a largely overlooked pureblood family because they aren't overly wealthy (Wendell's probably the best off of the lot, because he steals everything...) He's a huge flirt, so he would totally go along with her. But be completely dumbfounded by her motives, especially since he has no intentions of marrying.

Ooo, maybe Ella thinks that Wendell is rich when they first meet and Wendell thinks that Ella is rich after she explains that she's from an old pureblood family in Ireland. She certainly dresses rich... that would be a fun miscommunication to play out ;)
And Ella's good at Potions making, not really good at anything else. Arty is definitely hexier than she is.

Haha! I think it would be hilarious if Arty appealed to Wendell for help when she sees Ella moving in on Logan (assuming that by the time this all happens, she and Logan are formally dating). Even if it's Wendell in his other form, because what woman could resist that? So she asks him to "distract" Ella and save Logan.

Logan will of course be absolutely blind to Ella's advances. It's the one thing he has almost no knowledge of.

I took a break from roleplaying until my health got better, and while my health still isn't better, it won't be for a while and I really miss roleplaying. I can guarantee periods of inactivity (all of next week for example), but I really want somewhere I can get back into roleplaying with people I feel comfortable with- for better or worse, I'm back :D

If anyone has any plottage ideas, I'd love to try and fit Ella in. I've been reading through threads tonight trying to get caught up on the plot but don't really have too many ideas atm. I know Brock was going to come back soon too now that his family stuff is settling down and he has a secure internet connection... I get to finally meet him next week (and whoever else is in that area and wants to meet up) so hopefully some plottage will come of that as well.

Kelsey Andersson: 25, former Hufflepuff. Kelsey was born to two Muggles, Laura and Matthew Andersson. They fell in love during High School, went to the same College and five years after graudating the two of them got married and had two beautiful children - Matilda (Mattie for short) and Kelsey. Mattie was one year older than Kelsey and at the age of 11 Kelsey received a letter from Hogwarts inviting her to study there. Her parents were proud to have another Wizard in the family. She became a Hufflepuff like her sister. At Hogwarts Kelsey made many friends; friends who would be there for her through thick and thin and would care for her very much...as she did for them. Laura thought that both Kelsey and her sister should get a Muggle education too, so at the some time as being at Hogwarts, the two of them were being sent Muggle school. Kelsey enjoyed this a lot, after finishing at Hogwarts Kelsey went to a Muggle university and studied Muggle History. This was when everything changed, another Magical war had broken out and Kelsey and her family were in the middle of it. Matthew sadly died that same year, due to being so proud of his daughters he joined the Muggle branch Magical police. He died in Leicester Square, London. Matthew was helping the Wizards fight againest the Dark Wzards. After the war had ended, Kelsey taught at Hogwarts for a few months but she was always reminded of her father; it did not also help that she felt like he was being watched everywhere she went, she decided to apply for other teaching posts. Kelsey hopes to return to Hogwarts someday, as that was where she felt safe and working at her best. Currently Kelsey is working in the Ministry of Magic, in the Magical Accidents & Catastrophes department. she is the specialist in Muggle Items. Kelsey is smart, nice, thoughtful, patient, sensitive, and likes to joke around. But when she get’s past her pressure point, she will explodeswith anger. She's ambitious, helpful and caring with it comes to toher people. By nature, Kelsey is an academic. She loves to learn. At times, Kelsey is reminded of her past and then becomes depressed; but this does not happen as much since she worked at Beauxbatons in France for over a year. When it comes to love and romance, she falls in and out of love very quickly, at her age she should be looking for a man to settle down with...but Mr Right has not yet arrived.

I am in the process of making another character, but I'm keeping it under my hat for a while...

Hey Jemma, nice to meet you. I don't really have any ideas on how Ella and Kelsey might meet- Ella's from Ireland, so they wouldn't have met before. If you have any ideas though, let me know :)


Ooo also, just for anyone who wants to help me out-
I need to make a new list of potentials for Ella. Her parents have sent her on a search for England's single pureblood men. So far she's looking at Jasper and Logan, but if there's anyone else floating around, I'm plot-starved.
