Sam Langford and Joe Louis were knockout punchers, who would win? Joe was much taller but Sam had such long arms and a killer one punch knock out ability. Joe got knocked out by a right hand and Sam Langford had a punishing right. So who do you think would win?

tough, tough to call-could go either way. sam was tougher. that could be the story. better infighter also. in 100 bout seriers i go with langord 58 to 42--perhaps.thats how great both were.

as highly as I think of sam, and I do rate him as one of the best ever, joe louis is too much for him. louis at his peak is the greatest heavyweight of all time IMO. I think louis knocks out sam in 5 rounds. i have to go, ill post my reasoning later
