As Most of you with a 360 know a Next Gen Sonic Demo has been Released, I Played it, Experienced every path of the level ( Which was Short) and recorded it, Im still recording the other videos of me playing it and ill display it when im done

I've downloaded and played the demo, and to put it bluntly, its rubbish, theres SO many flaws..i can't be bothered to describe them all, it's that bad. I know it's only a demo and from what i've heard it's an early E3 demo, so the flaws could have been adressed fixed by now. The nintendo fanboys will say its crap though, because they're jelous they're not getting the next gen sonic game XD But if the final version is anything like the demo i played, then they wont be missing out on much, in fact..if the full game plays anything like the demo does, the wii sonic game will walk all over the 360 and PS3 one.

I looked at the posts and it was a bunch of pointless spam, flames, trolling, etc. I also downloaded the demo and I was impressed even though there were a lot of flaws in the gameplay and graphic. I'm looking forward to all the bugs being fixed when its out but I'm getting the PS3 version sorry.
Side note: Princess Elise will possibly be one of my favorite characters due to the fact she's voice casted by my favorite actress and she seems friendily.

:lol: I highly doubt that it will surpass SatSR, I mean it just is another adveture game with better graphics, nothing new exept a chracter with nothing to do with Sonic gameplay; and is just another attempt to make Sonic games bad-ass which all have failed miserably like Shadow. :P While SatSR offers new gameplay that gos back to Sonic's roots and more widly popular 2D style, not to mention fixed issues that 3D Sonics could never fix and I doubt ever will. Even if StH comes to a console I own, I'm not sure I'd want to go through one of those games again. :lol:

:lol: Now you're sounding rediculous, if you haven't noticed the old 2D games are more popular than the 3D ones and if I didn't know better, I would say you have no idea that there was a whole different style of gameplay before the Adventure series, although it could be good, I want a Sonic that goes back to its roots which in what way does StH do that?

What on Earth does that have anything to do with well... anything?
As for the gameplay of SatSR, running left and right is basicly what you do in Sonic along with jump and homing; (at least for 3D) not some complicated buttons that fit into about 3 like SA2B, notice, in that game they have about 2 buttons doing everything. What more is there in StH? "Oooh CIRCLES, who needs left and right" <_< Also one thing that I and two of my friends noticed is that in StH it makes it look fast yet the camera is going as it would normaly, hehe, takes no reflexes. No take another look at SatSR, the camera behind Sonic (he, I forgot about fixed camera) is going as you would imagine Sonic would go; FAST, making you on the edge of your seat ready for anything not just sitting pressing buttons.
If you want to make ANOTHER pathetic defense for this game (note: your last post :lol: ) just do it on the next gen Sonic games topic.

Whoa, hold your horses there, everyones entitled to their own opinion, right? And i didnt say that sonic wildfire would be better, i just said that if they didnt fix the flaws then it will walk all over it..in no way did i say that the game WILL be better. I never said the game was awful either, i basicly said theres a lot of flaws, and being a long time fan of sonic, i can see the flaws as clear as day. One, the homing attack is crap in this version. Two, the camera is goddam awful, which is no suprise as the camera has always been an issue with the 3D sonic games. Three, sonic is a pain to control, to me he feels really heavy compared to the past games. Like i said before, the flaws will have most likely being adressed by now, and with those flaws fixed it will be a great game..but what really bothers me is that you sit there saying the demo may not have any flaws and that maybe its my 360..thats complete bullcrap, theres nothing wrong with my 360 at all, i've had no problems with it since i first bought it! Sorry, but an assumption like that is just pure bullcrap. And believe me, just one flaw can ruin the enjoyment of a game if its bad enough. Theres a lot of other people who've seen the same flaws i have, just look the gamefaqs StH board. Oh, and remember what i said about opinion? I think the demo is rubbish, and thats MY opinion..you think the demo is good, thats YOUR opinion, got it? If those flaws arent fixed, then i aint buying it, end of. Yeah, that demo was horrible. There was so much lag and the graphics were sub-par for what the XBox 360 is capable of.

Secondly AAHyrule I Never Stated that the old games were Crap, and If I Wanted a Game for Reflexes i could go to Newgrounds and Gotten Some Fangame. I Want a game for. 1. A Good Story 2. Where the Game never gets boring, where you can Explore every part off the level,. And Ultima i wasnt Trying to Fight with you just what i think of FLaws is Like Falling through the level for no Reason, and Dieing out of Nowhere, But if you ment Flaws like Sonic being hard to Control or Bad Camera Angles (Which im Very Used to by now), Then Yes I Do Agree, Those Flaws were annoying. I'd rather not get into this, but I will say one thing. It's a beta version, and beta versions have flaws. The earliest playable version of Halo wasn't getting the thumbs up from too many people... So, it's often not fair to make final assumptions on beta versions.
I'm trying not to make any final desicions until I SEE the final product. I haven't been too impressed with the recent Sonic games in the past. I am hoping this will be a great game and after seeing the demo movies I am still seeing that glimmer of hope still shining. B)

the earliest version of halo was also a rts, and teh final product was a fps. showing that games usually change quite a bit before the final product is released.
Also the glitches in this game are probably form having muliple cores. have you ever tried coding for multiple cores?? if not I can tell you that its very tedious, so for testing purposes most developers throw together "something that works" just to prove that the base of their coding is viable. Just trowing somehting onto a multi core system can cause delays, such as processes that are meant to go after another will trigger before, if the second process is precessed by a core has less of a load. Its never a HUGE glitch, just annoying.

Well, like I said... I'm waiting for the final release. I've learned my lesson after making a final desicion before it comes out. I for one still think this has a chance, but that's my opinion and I'm fine with what other people think. I'm just sort of hoping for the best for both the Nintendo version and the Sony/Microsoft version.

The more I see and learn about these next generation Sonic games, I'm starting to believe now that it'll be just like any other 3D Sonic games. Other than improved graphics and yet even more ripoff characters, I am seeing no difference whatsoever. I'm beginning to lose faith again...

I think the next generation Sonic is more of a generic or an extremely enhanced version of the Sonic Adventure series. It seems so repetitive in nature now with recycled characters and themes but the music is good though.
