Silver Himuro - August 8, 2008 07:16 PM (GMT)
t h e R O L E P L A Y E R

Alias: Silver.
Gender: Female.
Experience: I have been role-playing for around five years, though on and off. I would never say that I am the best, nor that I am perfect. I am neither of those qualities. However, I would like to think that I am an intermediate role-player. I also participate on other various forums.
Characters: Roxas.
Comments: First thought, hell yes! I finally reached fifteen points. Neh. Secondly, yay. Finally made up my own character. You know, I had planned on trying out for Tifa. But who knows if I could play her? Anyway, in the end, I decided that making my own might be fun too. Thanks Karei for the idea; you mentioned making one during our conversation in the cbox a while ago. So I guess this is it. And...yeah...her previous world’s name is kind of stupid. However, I just randomly put letters together; I couldn’t think of anything. Lol. I also could not think of who the heartless leader would be...- Eh. I guess it being a mystery is also a good thing, though. I also kind of...bummed out on the role-play example. Hehe. Please forgive that. Also...please criticize me if you think I need it. Lol. I will love you forever if you tell me the truth! Lastly, I used pieces of a profile from one of my Bleach characters; Suzume Joukuu. (I am using her on Zero Hour, so I just wanted you to know that ahead of time).

Picture: [&. Everyone has their own design; this is who I am]
Face: Shana of Shakugan no Shana.

Appearance:
    Silver is often seen wearing a casual school uniform of some kind. There are two styles, but they differ only by the top. Of course they are not really native to Twilight Town, and she has been questioned about it before. Still, in the end, she has always preferred wearing the clothes from her own world. The outfits consist of forest green, gold, tan and white colors. The first top is a long sleeved, forest green shirt, with tan stripes lining the collar and the wrist. Two rows of golden buttons trace up the front of the shirt and a tan colored bow ties it all together. As for the second shirt, it is short sleeved and white. Forest green colors finish the end of the arms, as well as the bandana like collar, of which both have the similar tan stripe. Like the other top, this one also has two rows of golden buttons, as well as the tan bow. The rest of the girl’s outfit is common for both shirts, as it fits with either outfit. A forest green skirt falls carefully against her legs, covered with the same two lines of golden buttons. Black socks also reach above her knees, stopping a few inches below the skirt. And to finish the common uniform Silver wears a pair of black shoes.

    Obviously she does wear other outfits. Simply wearing the same thing would get annoying. And besides, she does like new colors and ideas. But that is just her main attire. So it is random and scarce for others to see her wearing anything else. Well, save for when she visits worlds where her appearance is changed, whether she approves of it or not. On the other hand, Twilight Town residences do see her wearing other clothes more often. That may be due to the fact that they are around her more commonly, though. Lastly, though it is more commonly fitted with her school uniforms, Silver occasionally sports a black trench coat. The long sleeved jacket reaches even farther than her hair, falling mere inches from her ankles.

    As the girl likes to train, she has an average body shape with curves and lines. This could also be derived from the fact that Silver hates to simply sit around. She also likes to just walk randomly around the beach and other areas. And though she would never admit it, being female and all, she weighs one hundred and five pounds. Of course that is not a terrible size, nor bad at that. However, asking a female her weight it just asking for trouble. As for her height, she is short. Well, really short to be truthful. Just like her mother, she comes to stand at a mere five feet. And of course that does bother her sometimes. Being short is difficult with certain matters. But, in the end, she is actually comfortable with her size. That is, as long as no one badgers and mocks her about it. Some jokes are fine. It is just best not to go too far with them.

    Finally something common amongst her family comes into play. Like both of her parents, or more so her father, Silver has dark hair. If she had come to be like her mother, though, she would have had brown hair, just as her brother. But, gaining a trait from her father, she attained the shade of black, tinted ever so slightly with gray and brown. Darker colors, of which are mostly surrounding black, grey, brown, and blue have always been common within the Himuro home. In fact, Silver has never seen any of her family members with anything but one of those colors. Silver commonly wears her hair loosely, though she will tie it back every once in a while. Her hair also reaches quite far. Thankfully, much to her parents relief, she cut it at least a few inches above her knees. She also has shorter cuts as you reach her face, giving off a feathered look. Two distinct layers lay just before her ears, of which reach to her shoulders. And above that layer lies a mess of bangs that reach from one ear to the next. All in all, though, the girl somehow manages to keep the locks straight.

    Once again away from her family’s normal design, she gains her trademark look. Appearance wise, this would truthfully be the only thing to set her apart from her parents, grandparents, and so on. And this is also where her parents chose her name, Silver. She was the first child to be born with silver eyes. Of course that fact never really bothered her. Being able to actually pull away from the stereotypical look was somehow gratifying. Her parents did not seem to mind. All they really cared about was that their little girl was safe. Also, as the color was neutral, her grandparents (of whom were rather picky and held to the old ways) found it to be acceptable. So the dark haired child never really had a problem fitting in beside her family. Well, at least not appearance wise.

    Another thing that Silver is never seen without is a specific necklace. And her sword, of course. The piece is not all too different, and it easily falls in with any world. It sits on a simple chain and is round in shape. Two pieces of gold line across a red jewel. Normally wearing such a necklace would not be wrong. In her position, though, she quickly found that to not be the case. Silver had thought about how it would anger her parents because of where she had received it from. Still, she had never expected that it would cause so much trouble. Even so, she continued to wear it and still does, even with its past. And like her sword, she is very cautious and protective over it. And even if it came down to it, Silver would find it dreadfully hard to have to choose between them.

Weapons:
[x] Nonki Aisu “Reckless Ice”;
    Silver commonly carries a medium length katana. The slender sword is a sharp silver color, with no scratches etched into its surface. Though it is obvious that the girl uses the weapon frequently, it appears to be in perfect condition. The reason behind its condition is simply because she takes very good care of it. Normally she would not care about a single weapon. However, because of the sword’s history, she feels more inclined to somewhat protect it. Also, she has found that it does work fine against the heartless. Of course that was not the objects main purpose; it had been meant to kill other humans. So it does not work as well as it is supposed to. Even so, it does do the job, and it works even better when Silver combines it with magic.
Abilities:
[x] Nonki Himuro “Reckless House of Ice”;
    This is Silver’s most powerful ability. Only members of the Himuro family are able to learn the said ability. However, as things can become slightly confusing, a name is chosen to match one’s fighting style. But, as that will be more thoroughly explained in the history, on to the actual attack: Flipping her sword around, with the point facing the ground, she grips the sword tight as she raises it high and then slams down to push it a few inches into the ground. She focuses her energy into the blade. As her separate name, Nonki or Reckless, ice shoots out carelessly from the ground. The area is then encircled by large, random shards of ice. So the attack is not really about hitting the opponent. It is more so about trapping them. On the other hand, she will sometimes try to hit her enemy by following their footsteps, forcing the ice to shoot up underneath them.
[x] Shainingu Nankan “Shining Barrier”;
    The second most powerful ability becomes a direct defense. To create the barrier, Silver brings her sword directly in front of her. Twisting the katana in her hands, she points it directly up, towards the heavens. Long shards of ice form on the blade. The sword itself would prove to be a shield in itself, forcing someone to stay back, as the shards of ice would most likely cut anyone that attempted to touch them. But, for a stronger barrier, she swipes her sword from either her left or right to the other side, like Aisu no Yaiba. However, with this technique she keeps the sword’s point towards the sky. A glistening wall of ice appears quickly from out of no where, like snowflakes joining together simultaneously.
[x] Aisu no Yaiba “Ice Blade”;
    Silver’s last ability is much like a blast of ice. However, as it is created by a blade, it really does become a blade of ice. This attack is rather powerful and can easily push people back and off of their feet. It also cuts slices and wounds into the opponents body. Out of the three abilities, this would be Silver’s third best ability. The ice does take over a good amount of space and Silver rarely misses. Depending on the other’s abilities, though, as well as their dodging, damage can be great or minimal. The center of the blow would severely hurt the opponent. But the outside of the hit would leave small cuts, if any. On the other hand, no matter where one is, they would get pushed back. To create the attack is actually easy, though. The girl turns her body to her right or left, keeping her sword in front of her. When she is ready, she slashes her body in the other direction, as if she were horizontally cutting through someone.
[x] Other;
    Other than the basic skills that others may have, such as dodge moves, rolls, and jumps, Silver really has no other abilities; that is, save for the few abilities that she has learned from family ties. She only uses her sword and magic. And she will commonly fight with her hands and legs. However, all of those attacks are common. There are no amazing steps to them. Anyone could really learn them, if they wanted to. But learning her fighting style and obtaining the knowledge of the attacks would prove to take a lot of time and effort. After all, she has spent years learning how to fight.
Magic:
[x] Blizzaga;
    As Silver has practiced with ice magic for almost as long as she has with her sword, she has basically mastered the certain element. She tends to combine Blizzaga with her sword; literally. In the combination, the ice forms randomly around her sword, giving it more defense for her close range style. But most of the time Silver uses it to throw shards of ice at the enemy. By swiping her sword, as if she were cutting an enemy, she creates random shards that slice through the air. This comes in handy when she does need to tackle long ranged battles. She normally only uses ice for close range when she is in a terrible situation.
[x] Cure;
    The girl has yet to master the healing magic. She has only trained with it since the separation from her own world. However, she has at least reached some level with it. In truth, the only reason she has come this far with the magic is because it is often needed to help friends and herself from being too badly hurt. I mean, who ever thought fighting would be easy? The magic, when she calls it, circles around her sword and then circles whomever she has casted the spell on. And though it is not powerful enough to save someone who is fatally wounded, it does heal simple wounds and smaller problems.
[x] Aero, Fire, Thunder, and Gravity;
    Unlike many that she has met, of whom actually fight, she has not tried to learn even the basics of other spells. So Silver does not have the ability to use Aero, Fire, Thunder, or Gravity. It is not that she believes the spells to be useless. Even so, she has decided to only focus on certain elements. Having variety can be an advantage at times. But, when you practice very hard with certain ideas, the efforts really do pay off. Besides, even if she did try training with the other elements, Silver would never do well with Fire, as it conflicts Blizzaga.

Personality:
    Unlike the common apathy associated with her family and house, Silver is actually rather bubbly and optimistic. She loves to be around friends and even random strangers, as she hates being alone. Of course she would be slightly cautious around people that she did not know. But that would not stop her from trying to figure the other out. After all, what does simply talking hurt? The girl really has nothing to hide...- Or she does not think there is anything to hide, anyway. She can also be rather hyper at times, desiring to play around and joke about random things. Even so, most of the time Silver only feels comfortable acting childish around people that she knows. But she also adores making people laugh, even at her own expense. She hates seeing someone sad or depressed.

    Silver is also very curious about things. And though the trait often gets her into mounds of trouble, she cannot help but wonder and question. She loves to search out new places. Even if she wastes an entire day just walking around, discovering new things, places, and ideas is always worth the effort. Besides, the girl does not mind wandering. There is always the random chance that one will find something new along the way; sometimes the journey is more important than the destination. Also, as she does not completely understand all of the various worlds, she sometimes gets confused. However, she does all she can to figure things out. But being curious and bumping into the wrong person can be dangerous. Thankfully, though, she has only been caught by kind people.

    On the other hand, she can sometimes come of as rude and coldhearted. The normal optimism fades away, and her family’s stoic appearance comes to play. But this is only because the girl hates crying in front of people. If she is around someone when she is sad, though she would try to simply walk away from the situation most of the time, she will just stare at the person or situation who has made her feel that way. Not only is she afraid of showing the emotion, but her parents always taught her that emotions only got in the way. Of course she did not listen to most of their thoughts and ideas on the matter. And her parents did not mind her being happy and being curious. However, they did stress that crying and showing that you were hurt was the worst of all emotions. So, loving and trusting her parents, she has found it difficult to cry. That is not to say that she has never cried. Even so, she tries to only do so when she is by herself.

    Something her parents never expected was the extent of their daughter’s anger. They had known her to be different. Still, her parents had believed that she would be more calm. When angered, though, Silver does not easily forgive someone. She also does not fight calmly if flustered, randomly attacking and just slashing her sword. But it is apparent that just getting angry does not win a battle. In fact, it can be rather troublesome. However, this is something that her parents were never really able to hinder. And this is where her other name came from, Nonki or Reckless. If someone is joking with her, she will easily yell back at them. Silver also gets defensive when embarrassed. She will also give someone a good punch or kick, even if they are her friends, if they really make her mad. On a good note, though, it takes a lot to make her angry enough to want to fight. One thing she cannot stand, nor will she tolerate, is someone bothering or harming her friends or family.

    In the end, Silver is more so a loyal and protective person. Of course she does sometimes overdo it. Because of this, she can get into unneeded battles. But she would gladly punch anyone that said something cruel or demeaning about someone she cares about. If someone ever tried to actually do physical harm to her loved ones, she would easily use her sword. Nothing could keep her from protecting her friends. She would do anything for them. Even if they asked something stupid, she would never think twice. Of course there are some exceptions. She would do anything, though, to keep them safe. If it meant barging in on a duel, she would do it in a heartbeat. Her safety always comes in second. Also, Silver trusts her friends with her entire being, and she would easily entrust them with her life. If they believe in something, then she believes in it too. She stands by the ones she loves, no matter what.
Homeworld: Naoryn, though she is currently seen most in Twilight Town.
Companions:
[x] Shard;
    The size of any regular house cat, the creature appears to be normal. And for the most part he is. The only thing that separates him is the fact that he can talk; and when he does, he often badgers Silver on being more careful. So he is truthfully just a cat. However, Silver treats him as if he were any human or member of her family. The black cat is her best friend. Also, he can sometimes be referred to as Silver’s baby. But he is most certainly not really her child. He is merely her...well...adopted son, I guess you could say. Still, her family did not really like the idea of having an animal so close to the family. After all, Silver just randomly found it one day before coming home. In the end, however, they eventually gave in to the creature. And the black cat with golden eyes soon became a true member of the family. They all lived together in Naoryn. And when Silver was separated from her world, as it was destroyed, she managed to somehow find him and hold onto him.
Background:

Born on a cold fifth of December, the baby girl was the second child in her family. Her parents easily named her Silver, as no one in the Himuro clan had ever had the certain shade of eyes. Her one and only brother, of whom was four at the time, was called Yuu. Of course she did not realize anything about the world at that time. All she knew was that she adored the white sparkles that fell from the heavens; snow. Growing up in her family was not too difficult, as her parents were very well off. They were the main family in the ice clan, their house name being over centuries old. Her brother and she always got the best of care. Also, they were trained from the young age of three. Yuu was ahead of her, however, and he often helped her. They both became skilled with swords and fighting techniques. Most of the time she had to watch her elder brother go off to school. So for the beginning of her life, she rarely did anything. Within these days she learned the same knowledge from her parents that her brother had when he was her age. She was told the history of Naoryn. Apparently there were two clans, one of fire and the other of ice. The two clans had appeared to have been at war since the beginning of time. Also, there was the third clan, of common humans. However, the humans without powers rarely chose sides. For her age, her parents simply told her it was best not to associate with anyone from the fire clan. She was also given a blue, oval gem necklace. The item, on a simple chain, was a symbol of the Himuro family.

At the age of five, on a day when her brother had left for school, she was wandering around her family’s lands. She did not know what she was searching for. Randomly sitting down in a flowered field, she stared up at the clouds. Silver had fallen asleep beneath them before she knew it. When she awoke, a black cat was laying against her stomach. At first the creature surprised her, forcing her to sit up in shock. Even so, the kitten had simply sat on her lap, purring softly. After she looked it over, she knew it to be harmless. Somehow she instantly managed to think of a name for him, speaking the word “Shard?” The kitten tilted its head and purred again. It was then that she made her first friend. She had taken the kitten home. Her parents were quick to dismiss it, saying that she did not need such a creature. On the other hand, Yuu stepped forward in her defense. He mentioned that the animal needed someone. In the end, the combination of the two coerced their parents into submission. But they all had been surprised when the kitten thanked them with its own voice.

Nothing else really happened until she went to school. The said school oddly consisted of each of the three clans. This was because, thought they were technically still at war, each group had signed a pact that they would remain calm. Then again, it was barely noticeable as each group tended to keep to themselves. Only the powerless humans would converse with either the fire or ice clans. Within each class, they all sat in specific areas of the room. Finally she began to see the truth of everything, and she hated it. Silver wanted each clan to find a way to work together. However, she found that even people her age did not feel the same as her. When she would try to talk sense to the fire clan, they would only toss the idea away. That would force the ice clan to get angry, starting a small fight. So Silver decided that it was best to leave the matter alone for the moment. In her state, she could not do much. She would have to gain more power before she could do anything. Even so, that did not stop her hopes of changing things. The dark haired girl also mentioned her thoughts to her brother and Shard at various times. The two agreed with her, but her brother said that she should still be cautious about her actions. Trusting her brother’s feelings, she made friends and finished her work like any normal student.

At the age of fourteen, Silver joined her brother at high school. Truthfully she could see no difference in the setting. Things were exactly the same. Students still separated themselves by clans, no one cared about fixing the gaps, and there was so much homework! Yeah, she always emphasized on homework. However, one thing did happen; something that Silver would never forget. Leaving the school cafeteria, she wandered outside to the outside grounds. No one seemed to be out there. She often came out here during lunch, or at various times during the day. It was needless to say that she skipped classes at times. Truly she saw no point in going all the time, as she could easily catch up later on. But at that moment she had simply desired to find a place for lunch. So the girl went to a common place. The area was a good distance from the school - from which you could no longer see the school - and trees were scarcely scattered across the area. If one were to walk a few paces farther, they would reach her family’s lands. Sitting under one of the trees, she looked up to the sky as she let a bag gently hit the ground. Soon she had begun pulling out random items: tea, chocolate bars, cookies, and strawberries. Sadly enough, this was always what she ate during lunch, even though her parents went to the trouble of making her a nice meal. Unlike most days, a voice echoed through the air. And unbeknownst to her now, that voice would have a space in her heart forever.
    When I looked up, you were just standing there with a smile. I remember being so curious. After all, did we not both already know who we were? But you continued to stand there, even asking if you could join me. I guess I probably had a dreadfully shocked look on my face back then. In the end, I angrily said that you could. Though I appeared as if I did not care, or I disliked the idea, I truthfully was glad to sit with you. “Umm...not that I personally mind, but why would you sit with someone like me?” I could not resist that question. Even though I did not doubt my status, being a member of the head family, there was good reason for it. You were a member of the head of the fire clan. We were destined to be enemies...- Still, you laughed at my question. And obviously I was embarrassed by everything, looking away in anger. I yelled at you back then, on that day. Things remained mostly silent between us for a short while. We both started eating our lunches. “You really do love sweets, don’t you?” That simple question forced me to look towards you. Still embarrassed, I had nodded to answer you. Once again you smiled. Within seconds you turned to scuffle through your bag. “Here. I’m sure you will like it. It’s melon bread... Personally I dislike the stuff. Though I tell my mom to leave it out, she insists that I eat something sweet every once an a while.” I glanced at the round shaped bread. Slowly taking it, I took a small bite of it. Suddenly a smile crossed my face. Surely you remember how much my appearance lit up from that one bite. “...thank you.” We were alike in some ways. The two of us both disliked the way our parents made our lunches. That was a start. “My name is Hotaru.” You actually gave me your name. Of course I already knew it, as you knew mine. Scratching the back of my head, I smiled. “Oh...yeah...I am Silver.” From that day forward, we always ate at that tree, switching our various food items.
The two girls continued to meet each other at different times. But they knew that no one could understand their friendship at that time, so they met in secret. After they talked together, they each found that they both hated the war, and that they both wanted to make things change. Being daughters to the head houses, they knew that someday they could do something. For now they were content with just being friends. Even Yuu decided to come with them at times, who was eighteen at the time. He liked talking about their ideas as well. Knowing that he was on their side comforted them. Also, the three would often train together. Of course Hotaru and Silver did most of the training, with Yuu as their trainer. The two actually made good adversaries, being at the same level of power; they were also direct opposite in elements. During one of these meetings, Silver and Hotaru gave each other their family necklaces. The two looked almost exactly the same. The ice necklace was made of a blue gem, with two strips of silver wrapping in an ‘X’ on top of it. The fire was the same, with a red gem and golden strips. They both told each other to wear them at all times, that the items were a symbol of their friendship. So they wore them always, simply hiding them beneath their clothes. On that day they also promised that they would remain friends forever, no matter what happened.

For the rest of her time, she spent most of her days training and spending time with Yuu. And of course she did not mind. After all, she loved her brother more than anyone else in the world, including Hotaru. Her brother was always there for her. Not that his overprotective attitude did not get annoying at times. Still, she liked talking with him. He always knew what to say or do. Besides, their parents - though they loved them - rarely had time to spend with their children. The two were training one of these days in the flowered field on their families lands. It was the same place that Silver had found Shard. Also, in the distance, there was the area from which she had first met Hotaru. With all of her memories of that place, she always found herself wandering there. It was special. Anyway, like every time they trained, she was left the losing party. But Yuu did comment on her, telling her ways to improve as their swords clashed. Their ice shattered against the strain of their attacks. In the end, Silver’s sword was pushed from her grasp first, knocking it a few feet away.
    “You really are getting better.” I looked up at your smiling face, your words hitting my heart and making me feel at ease. You finally decided to lay beside me. We looked at the clouds above us. Though we were both a tad old for it, we joked about what images they created. Even then it reminded me of when we were five and nine. “Yuu...” After some silence, I thought I needed to change the subject. “You won’t leave me, promise?” You gave me a really surprised look. Looking back, I cannot help but smile at it. I had never seen such a look on your face. You raised your hand and began to pat my head, smiling. You always used to comfort me like that. “Why would you ask something like that? I’m not going anywhere.” I remember feeling slightly embarrassed. “Well...what I meant was that I don’t want you to hate me...” Though I had not mentioned it to you before, I was worried that you hated me. I do not know why I felt that way. You were my brother, as well as my best friend. I guess it was only natural for me to worry. “I could never hate you, Midget! Why do you think I always spend time with you.” You continued to pat my head, until a smile returned to my face.
Soon after the day with her brother, Silver had promised to meet Hotaru. The two were going to meet in the same place, as it was commonly special between the three of them. She left late in the night, not wanting to wake her family. Shard had been sleeping with her, but the cat also awoke with her movement. He went to Yuu after she disappeared. From the cat’s efforts, her brother was awoken to follow behind her, along with the talking feline. But the two of them remained silent during the journey. He trusted his sister and Hotaru. Even so, for some odd reason, he felt as if he needed to at least follow at a distance. Coming to a stop, Silver looked around the area. At first she could not see anyone. Apparently she was the first to arrive. Walking farther into the open space, she glanced down towards the normally bright colored ground. But currently most of the flowers were closed. A few white colored flowers did bloom under the light of the moon, though. Reaching down, she had picked up one of the flowers. Almost as suddenly as she had stood up again, a blast of fire shot directly past her eyes, setting the flower on fire.
    Looking to my right, I turned to see you standing there. Even then I smiled and thought you were just trying to get my attention. “Hotaru!” Taking a step forward, I waved. I’ll never forget that moment when you raised your sword to me. I was used to it during training. However, I knew that you did not mean it in that way. Though there was some distance between us, I could see that your eyes were faded; they no longer held that familiar glow. But all I could think about was why. Why would you attack me? You ran at me. In truth, I barely had any time to raise my sword, as I was still confused. For the longest time I tried to talk sense in to you. I tried to convince you to stop. “Why” At that point we both began to use magic. Of course I can still feel the desire not to attack you. I combined my attacks to create barriers against your own. All I wanted was to figure out what was wrong. Surely I believed that I could fix it. But you would not speak to me. You just continued to throw more and more attacks at me.

    Finally I noticed someone standing a distance away. Between your attacks and my barriers, I figured out who it was. It was your father. Something clicked inside my head. There was no way that I would ever except your betrayal. I tried to run past you to reach him. Raising my sword, I remember coming within inches of his head, the shards of ice already forming against my sword. I was ready to attack him. Sadly he was ready for me. Or at least, someone had been. Another person or creature emerged suddenly from where I cannot determine. Right as I slashed my blade down, that second being grabbed it. It was as if the blade and ice was not even there, as it merely held on and did not let go. Looking to your father, Hotaru, I remember a smile on his face. “What did you do to Hotaru!?” Just as I barked out those words, your father and his ‘friend’ jumped a good distance away. I could not understand it. Turning back to where I believed you to be, I lowered my sword. “Hotaru, why are you...-” My words were cut short. You were no longer there. Immediately I began to frantically glance in every direction. I still did not believe you to actually be fighting me. As I turned completely around again, facing your father and that person, I was shocked to see you before me. You slashed your sword at me. I remember feeling pain in my left arm. With the short time, I had not been able to fully dodge the attack. “For the price of only my daughter’s heart, the darkness has promised me unlimited strength to destroy the people of the ice. A fair trade...”

    “Silver...I..I’m sorry.” That familiar sound caught my ears. Just to make sure, though my heart had already answered, I glanced at you. I could tell that you were hurting. “Hotaru...” Suddenly that unknown person raised their hand, calling forth uncountable numbers of black creatures. While I was distracted, I heard you voice something. I instantly knew that it was a spell. After all, I knew all of your abilities. You also know mine, I am sure. We trained together under this sky, you and I, and we showed each other our strengths...our weaknesses. Fire quickly spread around me. I idiotically tried to walk forward, forgetting that your fire would burst if I tried. Immediately flames grew before me. Jumping back, I managed to escape them. But by doing so, more flames shot up behind me. Then you threw something that I had not expected. Of course I knew that you had the ability. I had taught it to you, actually. In return, you taught me how to create a barrier. Remember? Anyway, a blade created simply of fire flew at me. From the shock, I forgot to use that barrier against you. I did not think you would use my own idea against me...- I should have been less careless. All I can remember is being pushed off of the ground, as well as a sharp pain in my stomach. The one good thing about this, thinking back, was that you knocked me free of those flames. As I stood back up, you slashed your sword again. To somehow dodge you, I let gravity push me back down to a sitting position.

    Yuu emerged on the scene next. His curiosity was easily seen on his face. If it were for any other reason or time, I am sure that both of us would have laughed at him. He raised his sword, attacking the black creatures. Brother looked at you and I as he fought. “I do not know what is going on...but Silver...get up! If you want to help Hotaru...don’t get yourself killed!” I slowly stood up, staring directly at you. I was curious as to how Yuu followed me. Nevertheless, this was not the place to ask. Of course I did notice Shard following him. Obviously he had dragged him to come. But for now I directed my attention back to you. Up close, I could not help but notice that I had been right. Your eyes had lost that beautiful sparkle. Raising one hand, I reached out towards you. Thankfully you were not pushing your sword at me. Before I could say anything, though, I felt something pulling against my legs. The black creatures were around us now. Also, below us, everything was dark. We were being pulled in. You did not seem to care. “Nonki Himuro!” Ice flew out from the ground beneath me, lifting me into the air. Still you did not budge. Noticing this, I forced ice to shatter up at various places on the ground, creating steps towards you. Coming within a few feet of you, I laid down against the ice, placing my sword next to my side and reaching my hands towards you. “Hold on Hotaru!” I grabbed onto your hand. “I won’t let you disappear!” The act forced my - or your - necklace to fall free from its normal hiding spot beneath my school uniform. But even then you did not care. Even as the darkness reached your knees, you remained still. “We promised!” Frowning, I barked out at you. “IDIOT! I know who you are. Your a kind and generous person! Don’t let them take such a beautiful light away!” Finally light began to fill your eyes again. “Silver-chan?” Your teary voice came to my ears, forcing my heart to beat wildly. “Hotaru!” You tried to apologize to me. However, I told you not to. You had no reason to apologize.

    The darkness began to pull on you harder. I thought that things could not get worse. And, trust me, never, ever tell yourself that things could not get worse...- From out of no where strips of the darkness wrapped tightly against my legs. The vine like strips began to pull at me. All I could do was hold onto your hands. Looking over, though, I watched as Yuu fought off the creatures. He tried to reach us. In fact, he was doing well. Smiling, I remember looking back to you. I had to do something, as you could barely move. “It’s alright.” I let one of your hands go, grabbing my sword. “Aisu no Yaiba!” Slashing my sword ice flew into the close heartless and ripped my legs free from the darkness. Holding tight to you still, “Nonki Himuro!” Ice rapidly shot from the ground, freeing you and forcing us into the air. We jumped over to Yuu. After being hit by your attacks and using my abilities, however, I became tired. As my stupid self could not hide this, I forced myself to take in deep breaths. I worried you and Yuu, which made me sad, as you felt it was your fault.

    A blast then came from the apparent leader of the creatures, stopping our moment of peace. Being the first to notice, or simply the first to react, I turned on the spot, my sword slashing through the air as it pointed to the sky. “Shainingu Nankan!” Crystal pieces instantaneously formed together to create a wall of ice between the blast and our small group. Dreadfully tired, I tried to hold it off. The blast shattered the wall into thousands of tiny shards of ice. Thankfully it stopped it from harming us. But I knew that I could not use another ability. Hotaru and Yuu instantly reacted. Raising my sword, I ran with them towards the leader. With another more powerful blast, the person tried to hit Hotaru and me. Yuu had no time to react. Hotaru slashed her sword, creating a blaze of flames. I knew Hotaru’s strength equalled my own. But this attack broke through, and Hotaru and I raised our sword’s as shields. The remaining blast forced both of us to our knees. I noticed that Hotaru took most of the hit. Standing back up, I walked beside my friend. “I’m tired...” I said, though smiling. “But stop trying to take all of the fun for yourself.” Frowning, I looked away. Hotaru smiled, forcing me too as well. “Right, right...” We believed that we, the three of us, could do it if we worked together.

    Not paying attention, the being ran towards Hotaru and I at a remarkable speed. Only you noticed, Brother. You ran quickly in front of me. At that point I was still smiling with Hotaru, unaware of the danger. But suddenly spatters of blood hit my face. I remember how warm the substance felt as it ran down my cheek. My smile gradually faded as I became curious. Hotaru was raising her arms, a shocked look on her face. Everything was in slow motion. Turning, shocked, I saw you falling to you knees. The leader of the small black creatures slowly pulled its hand free from your chest. I could not seem to say anything at first. Something was pulling at my entire body as I looked down at you. “Yuu!” The being ran past us now, letting me only see it in my peripheral vision. “Yuu!” Falling to my knees, I tried shaking you. A familiar smile crossed your face. Though I normally did not cry, tears began to fall. I could not hold my emotions back anymore. I felt as if my heart was being ripped apart. “It’s alright.” You whispered softly. “No need to cry over something like this, right?” Unlike usual in our world, your body began to disappear. Orbs of lights seemed to make up your body then, one by one drifting into that familiar sky. I clenched my hands against your shirt. Even now I desire to hold onto you somehow, though I know you are too far from me. Tears fell against your face, sparkling against your light. “Don’t leave! Brother, please!” The smile was still on your face. Though you were falling apart, and it took much strength, you lifted your arm in the air, placing it gently against my head. Rubbing my head, you closed your eyes. “Don’t worry. You’ll find me again somehow.” Slowly you began to slip from my grasp. Holding on as tight as I could, I shook my head. Finally the orbs scattered, letting my hands fall to the ground. I stared down at the flowers for what seemed like forever.

    Hotaru somehow managed to keep me sane after that. Or...well...somewhat. I cannot deny the fact that, for a moment, I let myself go. After you disappeared, I ran towards that person, my sword raised. I found strength - or false strength - and slashed again and again at that person. My attacks were continuously blocked. It was as if my blade did not even touch the being. That one’s image, smiling at me, still remains clear in my memories. “I’ll leave the rest to you... I have one heart. Collect the rest, will you.” The voice echoed as the leader disappeared. Though I tried to grab it, I was unable to stop it from leaving. The small creatures began to swarm around Hotaru and I. We fought for as long as we could, even with out injuries. I easily tired out a few minutes before Hotaru, as I stupidly tried to release my ice abilities. If Hotaru had not been there, surely I would have died. I know I would have...- She calmed me, telling me not to use my abilities, saying that if I continued on I would not be able to find Yuu. She also protected me for a while. During this time, I grabbed onto Shard, holding onto him with one arm. The darkness once again began to pull us in. Reaching out, I tried to grab Hotaru’s hand. We both desperately reached. In the end, though, the darkness was too much for us. After that, I could just remember three sounds: “Hotaru!” “Silver!” I remember calling out to you, in return hearing your voice call back to me. The only other thing I could hear was my heart beating wildly.
Silver eventually awoke some time later. Things were different. She no longer knew where she was. Looking down, she thankfully found Shard curled in her arms. The feline had been able to hold on to her. Then again, it was also her effort that kept him. Shard was her best friend. And it did not take her too long to remember everything, quickly looking for Yuu and Hotaru. However, she slowly realized that Yuu would not be here. That person had mentioned something about taking a heart. It did not quite make sense, but the girl wanted to believe that her brother was alive somewhere, in some way. So she started searching for Hotaru at first. She thought that her friend would not be far. After all, they had been mere inches apart before. How far could she be, anyway? But, wandering around this new world, she found that it would not be so easy. And after an entire day of looking, she did not find her. Not knowing what to do, she sat outside of the train station. And she remained there one night, with Shard by her side.

Days passed, apparently normal to the people of this world, of which she learned was called Twilight Town. Even so, they were different for her. But Silver did meet various people. She tried not to worry so much about Hotaru and Yuu, knowing that both of them would beat her over the head later on if they found her sad. Still, even then she felt sad at times. And she always spent days searching for clues on her friend and brother. One day it led her to an awkward place. She had heard that the man who lived there was a magician named Yen Sid. Hearing that, she had gone in hopes to figure things out. The journey was quite difficult, with twists and turns. However, she finally made it to his room. The elder seemed wise, even by his looks. Telling him her story, she begged him for answers. She mentioned that she wanted to find Hotaru, and that she dreadfully wanted to find her brother. Yen Sid told her the story of the various worlds and how they were combined by peoples’ hearts. He also said that he believed her friend would be on one of the various worlds. Still, he was unsure of her brother. From what she had told him, Yen Sid would not tell her anything, not certain. That easily made her hopes falter. Shard, who never left my side, meowed thoughtfully and said that they would find a way.
    “Do not worry, little one. In the end, all hearts will eventually find their way home. Their desires to return to that first place, the place where they feel at home, will force them to come together.” The magician’s words made me hopeful again. I truly felt like things would work out. Even so, I was surprised when he spoke up again. “Still, I know your desire to search for them.” I was confused when he asked to see my necklace. I let him touch it, though I asked him not to actually take it. I had promised to never take it off. With his touch, the gem sparkled for a second. “You already have magic. Because of this, I am sure that the tiniest of my own will help.” As he released the necklace, I gave him a curious look. “But...what do you mean?” Holding the gem in my fingers, I smiled. “As long as you have that item, and you focus your heart and magic into it, you will be able to travel between each of the worlds.” I immediately smiled, thanking him and bowing my head. But that was not the end of his words...- “Still, I advise you to be cautious. Not only will there be dangerous creatures, of which I have mentioned, but you will also have to worry about the worlds themselves. For that matter, you also have to have an idea of the world before you go to it... So it is perfect once you have been to a world and merely decide to visit it again. On the other hand, it does not do well with first encounters. But the good thing is that all you need is a thought, an image, an idea, or even a name of a place in the world to get there, even on the first trip. I can give you the first one. From there, though, you must search on your own. I do hope, though, that this world is of great help. It is the home of one of my dear friends...” I was still excited. Surely I would figure something out. Listening, I carefully heard him mention ‘Disney Castle’.

    I thanked him from the bottom of my heart. He reminded me to be careful as I reached my hand to the gem. Holding Shard in my arms, thinking clearly of Disney Castle, I focused my energy into it. Fire immediately surrounded me. When the flames dispersed, I fell to the ground. I had not expected there to be flames, Hotaru’s flames...- “Silver...” Shard’s voice made me wake up, and as I looked around, I noticed that we were in another world. We were in a garden of sorts. Of course the flowers were nothing like the ones back home. Still, they reminded me of that field. There was also a large castle. “This must be it, Disney Castle. But...who is that friend of master Yen Sid’s?” Pondering that, I freaked out, remembering that I had yet to learn the said person’s name. I knew that I could simply go back to his tower. However, I decided to at least look around. And so I began my search at another world.

Silver currently stays most in Twilight Town. However, she often travels to Disney Castle, hoping to figure out knowledge about other worlds. She also desires to return to her world with her friend and brother to be together again, as well as to fix the separations and feuds of their clans.

    Walking down the stone pathway, Silver sighed, resting her arms against her head. Things were quiet lately around Twilight Town. Or at least she found it to be that way. Stepping in front of the train station, she glanced this way and that. She did not know what to do. The thought of going to Disney Castle did interest her. On the other hand, she decided that she would spend the day around the familiar world. Even Shard agreed with her. Sitting against the floor, she reached out to pet the cat’s head. The two were often found in this area or at the clock tower. Of course the times when they were on top of the clock tower was commonly during sunsets or sunrises. Right now it was about midday, and it would be some time before the sun set, so Silver had found herself at the train station.

    No one appeared for a while. When someone did, they were unknown to the girl and the feline. So she merely waved at the man, as he did her. Sighing deeply, she glanced back to Shard. “I think just sitting around here is a waste of time.” The cat nodded in return. Standing up, Silver wiped off her clothes, just in case some dust had managed to cling to them. And suddenly she began to walk forward, towards the Tram Common. Truly she wished to find something sweet. Just thinking about the idea reminded her of the familiar melon bread that she always used to eat. And that thought led to thoughts of Hotaru and her brother. After all, the three of them always used to eat the treat and sit around, watching the clouds roll by. Stopping before a small, open building, she traded money for a strawberry ice-cream cone.

    Silver shared the treat with Shard as they both sat on a small bench. She always shared with him, even though she also fed him dinners of his own. He was simply too much of her friend and family for her to act otherwise. Once again things were mostly silent, with only a few people walking by. After a few minutes, though, a soft pair of footsteps halted before her. Blinking, still looking towards the ground, she saw a shadow before her. Apparently someone was taking time out of their lives to talk with her. Or...well...they were taking time for something. Looking up, she scratched her head. She did not know what the other wanted, so she did not want to simply barge out with introductions. “Hello.” Though she did not say it, Silver gave the person a look that questioned them why they were here and what they wanted.
