Appearance:
This devious fellow is seemly very tall, about six feet and two inches to be exact. Axel towers over many of the other members of the Organization, giving him a bit more confidence in battle when he must defend himself. Ever since he met Roxas he tended to get himself into trouble a lot more than before. Therefore, having this feature helps him more than not. In the past, living as his 'somebody' he was always known as the 'tall strange kid', even at a young age. His peers tended to make fun of him because of this. It wasn't easy growing up, this is why he is the way he is. The type of character he walks around with now was shown then as well. Ultimately, he swerved around their jokes by being himself; manipulative, cunning, wily, and sly. He never let 'idiots' like them get him down.
Axel is virtually the only redhead in Organization XIII, except for maybe Marluxia and Lexaeus, but their hair is very dull in comparison to his. Axel's hair, on the other hand, is extremely bright with the mixture of these two colors: red and a touch of orange the farther it travels away form his scalp. When it finally reaches the outer rim of his face it tends to turn to a very dark red and causes a bit of a shadow effect to appear. The spikes give off a sort of a bed head look. They are spiked in a couple directions: up, backwards, and even down with his sideburns. Those absolutely amazing spikes atop his head are so evenly done and brilliantly detailed that that alone is what makes Axel's hair his most striking feature of all.
This Nobody's face has distinct features such as the peculiar markings bellow each eye. They tend to form a stretched out diamond-like shape the closer they get to the bottom of his face. His eyebrows are very thin and small. Most of the time they are not perfectly horizontal, but more curved upwards on one side, so the redhead can't help but appear angry even when he is not. Axel's eyes have a gorgeous tint of lime green to fill them in. Complete with a stunning curvature and added shadow effect underneath them to brighten up his gaze. And of course this perfect face could never be complete without a magnificent set of pearly whites in which to show off that sly grin we all know and love.
I bet you have been wondering why Axel is so thin, right? Well, this lucky guy has no ordinary days, or at least according to us. He fights battles almost everyday, remember? Especially with his type of fighting style and unique movement, he can easily get an excellent workout. Giving the tall man a lean muscular body and a clean cut eight-pack to top it all off.
Being a member of Organization XIII, Axel has the same attire as every other member. Its always the same black trench coat with the silver chains and zipper he only zips up halfway. The V-shaped collar is perfect for showing off his precise collar bones. To complete the package, the Nobody wears black gloves and boots with no particular design.

Chakrams:
The two circular weapons, of which Axel uses with amazing skill, are made up of five circles. The center circle is the largest, connecting the other four smaller circles together. Also, interestingly enough, the base structure is surrounded by eight sharp knives, basically in the shape of kunai. This could easily be an image of the Nobodies number in the Organization, Number VIII. The color, red, also matches with the man's random personality and interest in fire. Axel tends to use the two chakrams over other weapons. Of course fire would come before any weapon. However, the chakrams and fire truthfully work brilliantly together.

Portals:
Many people that live within the darkness use this technique. However, the Organization members are known well for it. It is a sort of trademark, as the group members are more than not seen appearing from them. Of course the power does take skill. No simple fool could pull it off. It takes strength to even open the portal into the darkness. And once inside, it takes a strong person to find their way out. Not that Axel has to worry. After all, simply becoming a member of the Organization showed that he was more than a simple Nobody. Ever since, he has proven himself time and again, being able to fend for himself.
Assassin Nobodies:
Axel's own set of Nobodies. As their leader, the pyromaniac can call to as many as he could possibly ask for. The creatures work as their name envisions. Flowing under the ground, they hide out and wait until the opportune moment. This saves them from an enemy's fury, as they cannot be harmed while hidden. Of course they can easily slice at the opponent from below. But when the time comes, they will appear behind the enemy and attempt to strike them down. And, if their attack is not parried, it can cause a great deal of damage.

Obviously he would know this spell. Most members of the Organization, if not all, quickly learn this ability. After all, if you are going to be in a battle, it is more than likely that you will need it. No one is perfect. Everyone gets beaten every now and again. Of course this spell easily comes in second to fire, as Axel only uses it when he must. The spiky haired man really does not worry too much about such things. Not that he has any desire to disappear. No, that is not it. He simply tries not to worry about such things, so he can keep his mind on the battle. But he can tell when the spell is needed. And, like anyone else, he would quickly use it at that point.
Firaga:
Out of all of the members in the Organization, Axel would have to be the master over Fire. The Nobody, in some sense, is quite the pyromaniac. It is doubtful that he ever fights a battle without using it at least once. Also, with his chakrams, even the final spell can be made more powerful. As he spins the weapons and forces them to fly around the enemy, they create great gusts of wind, which obviously makes the fire stronger. Axel can easily create powerful walls of flames. It is as if he never runs out of fuel! And obviously the ability and strength with the specific element gave the Nobody his title, the Flurry of Dancing Flames.

Out of the XIII members, Axel is the most mysterious, dual-natured character. He thrives off of doing things for himself. According to his actions, this mystery man is on no particular side. In fact, he is in it for himself which is no surprise really. He is just awesome like that. Of course, Axel has no worry about being known as an enemy to many because he is a very strong fighter and never backs down. Therefore, we can understand why he chooses to do the things he does, huh? This little redhead doesn't take to well to failure, in fact, he loathes it. Nevertheless, he views losing as a sign of potential weakness. A weakness he never wants the others to see.
Speaking of weaknesses, his biggest was revealed when he encounter Roxas for the first time. He felt as if he had finally found a break in the life of being a Nobody. He felt emotions, which was weird considering he is a Nobody. In turn, he saw it as an opportunity to pursue a friendship with the strange blond. So that is exactly what he did. Axel wasn't by far a nice Nobody to the rest of the crew, but for Roxas he made an exception. He liked the kid, as strange as it sounds, he really did. By expressing such feelings, he showed us that he could be loving and caring when he wanted to be. Thereafter, we saw him in an all new light; his personality was not all serious and apathetic like it used to seem.

Background:
This interesting little redhead, formerly known as Lae, was once a human with normal human feelings and emotions. But his childhood wasn't a normal one. Lae's parents bailed out on him when he was five and of course it scarred him for life. Therefore, his personality is the way it is even as a Nobody. Back then he liked to be alone and mostly kept to himself. You could always find the little redhead playing alone at school and keeping to himself every chance he got. Since he was an abandoned child he had to learn to take care of himself. That was pretty much his whole life; looking out for himself and no one else. Of course deep down inside Lae was loving and caring, but he never showed it. Mostly because he didn't know how to, but to him there was no reason.
Lae was always the one to get in trouble, because he just loved to pester others and also because he found it intriguing. He thrived off of it, if you will. He hated getting involved but somehow trouble always seemed to find him. But no matter what, every time he would finished something, he would finish it with: "Got it memorized?" The words just seemed to come natural to young Lae. Being as cunning as he was, he made sure his enemies understood his point. He wanted respect, but thats not all he got, people feared him too. His looks and his ways just had an appalling affect on people. He didn't wear a black suit back then but he still was pretty minacious looking. This spiky haired kid wore a regular t-shirt, pants and converse shoes. Lae wasn't a normal kid and he knew that, but that never slowed him down from getting what he wanted.
As Lae got older, he grew little by little out of his old ways, but was still mostly his usually self. He just didn't let things bother him like he used to. Instead he just ignored stupid comments and went on with his life. People hated him for it, though. But it wasn't that hard since he really didn't care what other people thought of him anyways. Besides, almost all of his life he had a selfish mindset and was only in it for himself.
Lae was only twenty-one when his life was taken to the dark side. Just a simple act of iniquity was all it took. No one knows exactly what happened to him. Of course, there were rumors...but no evidence. His Nobody fell into the hands of Organization XIII in The World That Never Was. There, he practically started a new life. His name, Lae, was altered to add an x somewhere in it. From then on, he was known as Axel. Axel joined the Organization as number VIII, also known as the Flurry of Dancing Flames. His journey has yet to begun...
Nowadays aren't all that different. At least, up until the day he met Roxas in Twilight Town. Atop the tower, the redhead walked towards the strange blond. The kid was already sitting down on the edge. Axel decided to join him and sat down beside the younger one. Something inside of him changed that day...and for the better. The spiky haired man instantly felt a connection with the mysterious blond. He felt so different around him, he felt as if he could share anything with his new companion. He knew right from the start that something good could come from this fateful rendezvous if he tried.
Roleplay Sample:
A heartless appeared out of nowhere. Axel turned around to face it. He sighed. "Ah jeez...not again," he grinned and chuckled softly to himself. He quickly got into a fighting stance, gripping both chakrams tightly in each hand. The tall man pulled himself back as the fiend pounced toward him. It slashed at him as he barely dodged it. He leaned forward, spinning his chakrams, the heartless disappeared as fast as it came. He grinned again and let out a sigh of relief.
Turning back towards his darkened surroundings, a figure revealed itself. It lightened up for a split second and then returned to darkness. Suddenly more of its kind came into view. They surrounded the brilliant redhead from all angles. The grin upon his face slowly disappeared. Axel returned to his fighting stance once again and braced himself for what was to come. The medium sized dark clouds attacked our little hero one by one. Axel is strong enough to take them, but will he be able to take them as a group?
Just then, dozens more came into play. They gained on him with every stride. He took a few steps back and paused. He ended up in the center, just as he planned. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. The chakrams at his side began to spin, the flames continued to grow with every revolution. He drove them outwards away from his body with his arms and towards the darkness. Finally after a few moments he opened his eyes as a huge ring of fire engulfed the entire outer edge of the battle field. His ability to create firaga has never failed him.
His signature grin appeared on his face once again. The redhead plunged his vital weapons in one full motion towards the ground. Fire that almost took on the appearance of wind was produced from Axel's precious chakrams. It sliced through the silence as the heartless were sent back to where they came from. Axel fell to his knees after being drained of his magic. His hands met the ground and after a few moments he closed his eyes.
OMGOSHHH! -.-' School has been taking up ALL of my time. O.O I'm so sorry for neglecting this app. for so long...I will try my best to finish it over the weekend. I thank-you so much for giving me a few more days, Sora. It is greatly appreciated.
