Appearance: Xigbar is physically unremarkable among Organization members. He stands at a fair height of 5'10", but he is of a lighter frame than most of his comrades. Despite this, his wiry muscles give him considerable strength, and next to the average person he still seems quite well-built. Especially for a scientist.

He wears the black coat outfit typical of the Organization, including tall leather boots and black trousers. He is known to travel with the hood raised, though he will often lower it for confrontations of any sort. Xigbar wears a prominent and oft-noted black eyepatch, which covers his right eye. His right eye is glazed over white, as if afflicted by blindness, but as he never reveals it, no one knows if it is sighted, or even what it looks like. His visible eye is a menacing yellow, as sharp as an eagle's. His rough, intimidating demeanor is only enhanced by facial scars, especially the large, jagged scar across his left cheek.

Xigbar seems older than he is, as indeed he did not age gracefully. Of course, while he appears old, he is incredibly fit and nimble. His grey-streaked black hair flows long, a little past his shoulder blades, tied up in a loose ponytail.

Weapons: A pair of Lightguns. These are large pistols with a visible clip shown as spikes along the handguard of the grip. The barrel, from the top, appears to be designed similar to the symbol of Organization XIII, with a circular gap in the middle where the crystal-shaped hammer, at the top end of the handguard, rests. The gun's muzzle appears to be more like a long spike, which illuminates upon firing. The weapon discharges long crystal-like energy bullets called Light Arrows, which can be fired rapidly, like a semi-automatic weapon, but after several shots the clips are exhausted and energy must be restored. This is done by powering the clip with energy, but currently only Xigbar is capable of doing this. The way this energy is charged and the amount of energy charged can also effect the resulting shots.
The two guns can also be combined together, one spike slotting into the back of the second, at a ninety-degree angle. This enables the scope, allowing ordinary shots at long distance, as well as power shots (see below).
Abilities:
Xigbar has a number of powers associated with his control of Space Element, and marksmanship.
-Gunmanship. Xigbar wields specially-made firearms ambidextrously, and fires them with expert marksmanship. He can summon and maintain his weapons from the darkness with ease, and knows how to power them with energy.
-*Power Shot. Xigbar brings his guns together, charging them with excess energy and causing them to release a single large, powerful light-arrow, which can bounce off or even penetrate solid surfaces.
-Teleportation. Xigbar can move all or part of himself from one place to another distant place quickly through extremely precise use of the corridors of darkness, however it operates for short ranges only. He can use this ability on things near him that he controls, such as his gunshots.
-*Crazy Gunner. Xigbar overcharges the already-loaded clips of his gun, causing the energy to overflow into himself. He moves around much more energetically, and as the clips are now fed by the energy held by his own body, the gun is seemingly inexhaustible. With this additional energy, Xigbar can teleport multiple times very quickly.
-*Ultima Shot. Similar to Crazy Gunner, Xigbar overcharges his already loaded clips. However, the magnitude of the charge prevents the energy from flowing back, instead pushing the guns to their very limit. They become unstable and fly out of his hands, firing madly. By using his gravity control, he is able to steady their movement, as well as aim the guns at a target. The guns easily releases over a hundred shots, and as a result may break down (such breaks are not permanent, but disable his weapons capability significantly).

*As seen in Kingdom Hearts 2, boss battle vs Xigbar.
Magic:
-Gravity Control. Xigbar can levitate and generally defy the laws of gravity. He is thus prone to walking upside-down, even when there is no surface to be walking on. Using this he can also subtly alter the trajectory of projectiles without much difficulty, but more dramatic acts, or to affect resistant beings, isn't so easy.
-Space Distortion. Xigbar has a limited ability to manipulate a surrounding area, modifying or rearranging almost any physical aspect. Unless he is familiar with an area (such as the Hall of Empty Melodies), this is extremely slow and taxing.
-Darkness. As a member of Organization XIII, Xigbar exercises control over the Darkness. With this power, he is able to traverse the Corridors of Darkness and manipulate the Heartless.

Summons: Being a Nobody of high power, Xigbar has control over the lesser Nobodies. He is able to change the standard Dusks into a shape more fitting his style. Through his mastery of the darkness, he is able to control some Heartless, unless the Heartless or its master is particularly strong. Thus, he can currently summon;

-Sniper Nobodies
-Dusk Nobodies
-Heartless
Drive Forms: None

Personality: While one would expect a Senior Member of any Organization, even Organization XIII, to be steeped in tradition, loyal, strict and harsh, Xigbar is none of the above. Among the eldest of all the powerful Nobodies, Xigbar critically fails to act his age--with a laidback attitude and a rough voice to match. He is comfortable in his arrogance, rarely seeing the need to lower himself to a proper fight. While he has never shown any particular animosity towards the Organization, he seems to prefer doing his own thing, and resents authority, especially that which is wielded by Organization members lower in the food chain than himself. Authority issues aside, Xigbar is very loyal, as a friend and as a colleague. It would take a lot for to act against Organization XIII.

While he is mostly calm, collected, almost lazy in his attitude, when he is pushed too far he reveals an extremely short fuse, immediately moving into violence. He is not above cowardice, and would usually rather live to fight another day. Only loyalty and pride will blind him of this fact. He has a high attention to detail, rarely missing something important.

Homeworld: Radiant Garden
Companions: None

Background: Xigbar was once known as Braig, one of Ansem the Wise's six apprentices during his studies of the Heart. He had a knack for the science of Physics, and his aptitude allowed him to maintain a sort of disinterested study, while indulging his leisure with all sorts of fun and games--including rough and lethal combat. Not much is known about him before he showed up in Radiant Garden--some believe he fought in the Keyblade wars, but most agree that is unlikely. Indeed, he was quite well-versed in combat even when all the others were wrapped up in labcoats. Though he was not as brilliant as some of the others, his background in Physics gave him an edge, and Ansem, the head of research, apparently took a shine to his laidback attitude.

Even then he was the same as he is now; intelligent and highly perceptive, but very much like a slacker. Eager along with the other apprentices even as Ansem stopped his experiments, Braig continued to closely observe and assist Xehanort in his research. He was no exception when they were cast into the darkness, and the Nobody formed. Xigbar credits himself for the creation of Organization XIII (incorrectly), and along with Xaldin set out to recruit more members. As an aside, he picked up as much information as he could--within the Organization, and without. He was especially fond of eavesdropping on conversations and spying on his fellows--through this, he came to have quite an accurate view of the Organization as a whole. Once they had enough members to set off on his own, Xigbar was first at a loss for what to do. He had work to do for the Organization, of course--spreading the darkness, gathering Nobodies and generally keeping an eye out--and indeed he did that quite well. From then he became slightly... erratic and rebellious. Nevertheless he remained true to the Organization and followed the right orders.

In the world of renewed darkness, Xigbar stands among the winners, but he is not content. They are all so close and yet so far away from completing their goals, and The Freeshooter has been getting bored with the status quo. He is even questioning whether Kingdom Hearts will even return their hearts--or if it is just a vain hope to which they cling. He knows where his loyalties lie, but he is fast approaching the time where he will act in spite of it.

Roleplay Sample:
In The Land of Dragons, high up in the Mountains, no life stirred. The snow had covered the mountain in thick layers, a recent blizzard clearing the air of any birds foolish enough to fly to this desolate, if scenic, summit. Travelling alone through this unforgiving and tranquil environment was a tall man, wearing dark blue robes and a broad, circular bamboo hat. He carried with him a set of long curved swords, a design that had been seen among travellers of The Land of Dragons in the past. He wore sandals, but nary a mark was made in the snow as he passed. It was when he stopped in an area overlooking the Imperial City when he first heard signs of life--snow slipped from a ledge, with a quiet scraping noise.

The warrior turned to look, but he saw nothing. As soon as he turned back however, a rough voice filled the air as a figure stood on the ledge, where before there was no sign of anyone. "Now what are you doing up here?" asked the figure in a rough voice. The warrior narrowed his eyes--he could not discern the identity of this stranger, as he wore a black coat with a hood. The figure seemed to notice his silence, hopping off the ledge and standing a short distance from the warrior. "You don't have anything better to do than enjoy the view?"

The warrior glared, widening his stance and slightly unsheathing his longest sword, he held it in place, ready to strike. "Now what is that for?" the stranger remarked, folding his arms. He was not the least bit intimidated or annoyed by the warrior, but in reverse that wasn't the case.
"Do you desire to challenge my mastery of the blade?" the warrior hissed.
The cloaked figure chuckled, waving his hand dismissively. "As if. I'm too old to play with swords." he replied curtly.
"Then may death take you swiftly," the warrior said, dashing towards the cloaked figure and swinging his sword as he drew it, in a wide cut. He expected to cleave his enemy in two, but when the blade came around the figure disappeared.
"Now, do you really think it's polite, trying to cut strangers in half?" the figure chimed in from behind. The warrior turned, raising his sword and again swinging it down at the mysterious figure. Yet again, he disappeared, this time appearing above, upside-down. "Did you miss me?" he asked, chuckling loudly and failing to notice the dark energy gathering around the warrior. When the warrior leaped at him, he was forced to curl up towards his feet, barely evading the swing this time.

The figure leapt from his position, landing on the ground a few metres away. The movement tossed the hood of his cloak back, revealing his scarred face, the eyepatch and single visible, yellow eye. "Close call! But you're not fast enough." he jeered. The warrior charged again, and this time he teleported up onto the ridge. The warrior couldn't reach him--not by normal means. "You might be a master of the sword, but the dark powers are too much for you. You can't get up here, holding yourself back like that." he folded his arms, satisfied that he'd set the warrior down the path from which there was no return. The dark energy coursing around him became more intense, until at last it overtook his body. A white, whispy form flowed out and disappeared--leaving a blackened shape, wreathed in darkness. The Freeshooter dropped down from the ledge, approaching with a casual gate. "Heartless." he remarked, placing a hand on the figure through the dark energy, as a smirk slowly played onto his rough features.

-The Next Step-

Alrighty, everything seems to check out with me. You have what is needed, which makes a sturdy profile. Xigbar is a difficult character to sum up, mainly because he doesn't have a lot of information about him, but you have him down pat. And not to mention you have a great roleplay sample.

Now, head on over to the Next Step. There are plenty of open threads in there for you to pop in~
