Hm... Well, I do like the background.

Yeah the background is cool. Overall its lacking something.

Sorry thats not the hardest of things. Maybe get some more blending, better text, something to fill it. Maybe a background render?

Pokemon sigs I made a few weeks ago.

Ooo i love 'em especially the Font of Umbreon and the way he blends in with the BG.

Eh, the Umbreon one'd be better if he DIDN'T blend as much.

But I don't like that one as much.

Just saying but maybe you should lighten the background and make Umbreon darker.

Hawke: Hawke is an awsome charactor, the sig is OK.
The second: Much better
Spheal + Latios: awsome!
Umbreon1: too blendy
Umbreon2: better, but the background could be lighter.

Accidentally saved it as a png and not an xcf, so I can't really edit it... :(

I don't really think it'll need editing, considering that it's plain, yet still effectively appealing. The contrast is nice, though the render seems a little too feathered out.

Just my opinion, but I think it would have looked nicer with a bit more color in the background instead of a monochrome black grunge.

What does feathered out mean?

I thought about it, but I kinda liked the contrast. I think I am going to do another version of it though, with color.

The feathering effect is when you (assuming you use Photoshop) use one of the various marquee or lasso tools and change the 'Feather' option to a certain degree. This will 'blend out' or 'feather' the edges of your image, as well as render it. It's interesting, and I tend to use it quite a bit.

The contrast is nice. It's just a bit too stark, though.

It's pretty boring if you'd ask me.

Add more colours or more stuff... It just looks... Plain.

You're the artist here, I'm leaving it up to you to think up a cunning plan to make it more exciting.

Yeah, I didn't like the text much... I'll work on that.

As for colors... What exactly do you mean? I really wasn't sure what to do with the character, think I should make him more vibrant? Or less? :P

More vibrant yeah. Colors look kinda boring at the moment. IMO, working with a gray-ish color scheme it's pretty hard, tough.

For text, if it had been way smaller and placed over the boat (that's a boat, right? >_>) with opacity reduced, it would have blended really nicely, I think

Not overly happy, but... meh. Mostly made it because I was bored, probably won't bother doing any more work on it.
