Since smart discussion/debating is at a loss for these days on the internet in general, hopefully, we can bring it back here. (:

-First of all, this is intelligent discussion, so the posts have to have some degree of intelligence in them. For example, if someone made a post explaining how Bush is as a president that was about twenty paragraphs long, they shouldn't have to click on their topic and see their whole first post quoted with a member smiley or some general nonsense.

-Any varying range of topics can be discussed here, but they can't be something random. For example, "do u liek eggz?" would be an invalid topic to discuss, because not much intelligence can come out of that. At the very least, you could at least make a "dating advice" thread or something...anything that pretty much be discussed in a smart manner without even being pseudo-random is good for this forum.

-No flaming at all will be tolerated. For example, if someone who is an atheist says "Jesus does not exist. End. |:", or anything that disses someone in a way that is bound to hurt something like their personal beliefs without at least doing so in an acceptable manner, WILL LOSE ACCESS TO THIS FORUM, especially since I'm going to be the main maintainer of this one. If you do something incredibly bad, though, you may also risk being suspended/banned from the forum altogether, since the things here are to be discussed in a very serious manner.

-Just like with that example I gave on the above, I also don't want each other trying to force their opinions and beliefs upon one another in this forum. That means no evangelizing must be done here, either. (Although, if something like that happens and you weren't forced to accept it, it's not on anyone but yourself.)

-I'll say it again: If you are weak of heart, you may want to think twice before entering this forum. I don't know the "standpoints" of every user here (as in, are you an atheist/monotheist/whatever, racist, republican/democrat/neutral, etc.), so I can't give you any straight statistics...either way, it's on you to read the rules here, and the rules here are probably the most important ones that you'll have to read, after the official guidelines and the wall, of course.

Adhere to these, and you'll be fine.
