The old Ashnard's wrinkles look unnatural, and it needs shading where the beard meets the face. The new one is a definite improvement.

Too much contour on the side of his face. In general, it's also a bit to wide in comparison to the rest of him. For the fur, all I can really say is scribble and feel lucky; I haven't a clue how to help. ^^;;

The shading is very sloppy, and that's probably because you're trying to follow the FE9 mug a bit too much. Fur help? I just make arced lines that get thicker as they drift away from the light source. Of course there's more to it, but I think you've got that.
