Fire Emblem: Seal of Kings
Prolouge

The continent of Magval. Three years have passed since the great evil of the demon king was locked away, although the dangers are not yet to pass. Renais, the central country lead by King Ephraim and Queen Erika, is undergoing a stage of mass repairation. The largest country, Grado is also suffering. The great loss of life during the war of the Stones has left a large gap in the nation's manpower. To make matters worse, landslides, fires, and Cyclones are ravaging what's left of the country. Freilia, the westernmost monarchy, is in a state of chaos from the recent assasination of King Hayden. King and Queen innes and Tana are despratly trying to hold their nation together, while helping the others. The desert nation of Jehanna, under the rule of king Joshua and Queen Natasha, is aiding the other's plights with all their power. Rausten, the Theocracy ruled by the bedriden pontifex ----- and his neice, Princess L'archel, is under threat of a mysterious band of wariors led by an enigmatic "Nathaniel." These wariors attack the convoys Rausten sends to aid the others. Carnico, the merchant republic, has been attacked by a killer plauge that has wiped out more the a third of the population. The continent of Magval is suffering. Erika and Ephraim are riding back from a relief effort to Grado, and this is where their story...begins.

Chapter one; Wings of Fate!
*Castle ???*
Johnistin: Jewlina. We have captured a fort of the theocracy.
Jewlina: Hm? That's good news Johnistin! But you seem extatic. Why are you so enthralled with this?
Johnsistin: It's because we found somthing...interesting.
Jewlina: Go on.
Johnistin: We found a supply of weapons. Not normal things, these were very rare.
Jewlina: How rare?
Johnistin: Well, I have a list here. I'll read some of the more interesting ones: Darkspear, Wishblade, Alaircaliber, Adulal, Nifskillo, Narglimir, Uran, Vex Malvo, Luvalia, Kirjovon, and... Seigegrind and Seigerund...
Jewlina: I...I've never heard of any of those.
johnistin: Yes! These weapons were sealed away by the Kings of Old! The founders of our land felt these were too powerfull to be used by those of mortal kin! But, the sealed area was found by the late Pontifex Faxio, and he ordered the seal be lifted not knowing what was inside. Many magicians died of Magical Overflow-the seal's power jolted into them and overloaded their bodies- but eventualy the seal was broken.
Jewlina: ...
Johnistin: When they found out why the area was sealed in the first place, Faxio ordered a fort to be built on top of it to protect the chamber. Although, one of the weapons, the Darkspear, was stolen by an un-named Wyvern Knight.
Jewlina: General Valter.
Johnistin: hm?
Jewlina: General Valter the Moonstone. He was the one who stole it. His mind became corrupt when he touched the lance. After the war though, it was returned to the collection.
Johnistin: You seem to have been studying recent history...Anyways, these weapons... they were forged by darkness in the attempt to balance the power of the Twin relics,the weapons of light. If one of either set were to be destroyed, the world will tip in the favor of the remaining.
Jewlina: So you mean that if these weapons were to break, the world would be ingulfed by the light or darkness?!
Johnistin: Yes. That is why we must crush the Twin relics with these Dark relics. Well...that is what Lord Nathaniel has ordered.
Jewlina: Th-th-the lord himself ordered this!? Jordenar! Jadelution!
Jordenar: Yes?
Jadelution: Mother?
Jewlina: We are going.
Jordenar: Where?
Jewlina: Why, To a certain releif squad returning home, of course!

Erika: Brother, have we entered Renais yet?
Ephraim: No, Erika, we have not.
Veelago: We have exactly 17 leagues to the border, you're highness. Though preciecly 2 leagues ahead, there seems to be a group headed our way. Shall we change course to avert these travelers, King Ephraim?
Ephraim: No, Veelago. We'll stay our current course.
Veelago: Very well sir.

Johnistin: Jordenar! Stay here and wipe our traces. Have a gaurd at each of the cells just in case somthing happens. Jadelution, stay with your brother. Johnistin and have other buisness to attend to.

There are a lot of coincidences between this and a fanfic I wrote about a year ago... Particularly the plague in Carcino. I just thought that was funny.

And Othin, it's not incest, they're just siblings who were both named rulers, most likely. It's not like that's never happened, and it said "King Ephraim, Queen Eirika" at least once in the game.

The only time I remember that being mentioned was when she was called the "Restoration Queen", not actually the queen.

Ahem. I do believe that in chapter 16, after Orson is defeated, the crowd cheers "Long live King Ephraim!" and such, calling them the king and queen. Bosox, yes I did get that plauge idea from a fanfic, but I wasn't sure whose. Now I know.

The style of typing is pretty lame. You know, the whole:

Actually, I think Othin's right about the Queen Eirika thing. Ephraim is the next in line to the throne and after Fado died, and therefore, he becomes king. The sister of a king is still a princess until she marries a king.

On the other hand, if you make it like the ending of Ephraim's story, where Ephraim goes to help Grado without his sister, then it'd be okay to call her Queen Eirika since Eirika is left in charge of Renais.

The only things I can comment about the text are just spelling errors and a lack of formatting.

Screw script for now, summary for chapters one through ten. BEHOLD THE WALL OF TEXT!!!

When Johnistin finds and delivers a cache of dark weapons to the head of a mercanary group(Nathaniel), he sends his top
commanders to dispose of the remaining weilders of the only threat to him, the sacred weapons. Erika and Ephraim, traveling through the
mountains, are ambushed by Johnistin, Jewlina, Jordenar, and Jadlution. When the lords are disabled, they let them live, but lock them up in an old castle a few miles away.

The lords break out and escape after defeating Jordenar, only to find themselves up against his brother Jadlution. Clearing through him and a small group of bandits, they rest in their fort (the bandit's). Johnistin learns of his sons' defeats and tracks the lords to the fort, bringing with him an entire battalion of magical troops. Barely alive and the onslaught coming wave after wave, a mysterious man appears and johnistin retreats, unable to use any magic... The man tells the group of the mercanary's plan to take castle Renais, to destroy Seigemund and Seigelind. After healing wounds and plotting a course, the party sets off for Renais.

At the tunnel of Tu' mal, the gaurd captain mistakes them for Nathaniel's men and raises arms. During the fight a jittery Archer named arthur fires an arrow, misses, says some things, and flees down a stairwell. When the smoke clears, Arthur is found and he says he knew you weren't nathaniel's because he was with them breifly. He advises the group to go to go to Keston, so they can face the ones who defeated them earlier. After training in the arenas, stocking up, and defeating the arena champion, the group sets off again.

After days of travel, the group runs into an unexpected couple: Jadlution and Jordenar. The two are immensly powerful (They have the Wishblade and Darkspear and are promoted once) and the troops supporting them are a few of their parents elete.

Meanwhile, Seth who was presiding over Renais in the king and queen's absence, was warned by the mysterious man of Nathaniel's(rule the world+kill the sacred weilders) and Jewina's plans(to take over Renais castle[as if people didn't do that enough already]). Seth sends messengers to the other kings and queens, telling them to come and be premared. He then evacuates the castle, leaving only a few with special instructions left. Jewlina takes over the castle and the remaining gaurds surrender. Johistin arrives and modifications/fortifications are made to the castle. Seth comes back, with some of the others (Knoll, L'archel, Innes, Joshua, and Ross [ he's on the council of carnico. Don't ask.] and retakes the castle during the rennovations. When Seth's legion has finally driven out Jewlina's forces, a shadow is cast over the castle...

As Erika, Ephraim, and forces draw near to the castle, they find it to be changed. And, as a bonus, Jordenar, Jadlution, Johnistin, Jewlina (dunno why no one killed them yet...) and are all tougher than ever. After the four are defeated (not killed) for the who knows how many times, the shadow returns. The lords find out what is is... Nathaniel. His enormous dragon is so gigantic, it blocks the sun over the castle. He descends upon the lords, and spares them no mercy. With their dieing gasps, they tell the others to flee, but they don't. Nathaniel picks up the sacred weapons of renais, and crushes them with his dark ones...

Chapters 11-15
The day that the two sacred weapons were crushed the world turned a little darker. The nights were longer, the days weren't as bright. Dark creatures appeared again in the demon's dark areas(Valani, Lagdou, Darkling Woods). A group of five peace-keepers have gone to try help put down the rising of a group of rabid wolves (re-colored mauthe doogs). After clearing the wolves out from the area, the shadow flies over the area they were in. After seaching for the source of the shadow, they give up, unsucessful. Upon return they find out that their village had been raided in their absence, and very few were left alive. The party now seven strong, sets off to find the bandits and get revenge. After some tracking they find the bandit's fort and kill the Leader, Hadus. They clear out any remaining bandits and take as much reclaimed stolen goods as they could carry.

I'm wondering why a mercenary group leader wants to plunge the world into darkness but apart from that, I don't see anything out of the ordinary.

Maybe I worded that wrong, but he is also the employer. He has reasons, but I've still got to make them clearer. For you and me. And is ordinary good?

It's quality not quantity. The lords start as their promoted class but act as and have the stats of an unpromoted unit. Exept the growths they will maxz EVERYTHING before Lv. 20 unpromoted. Well, besides luck. Ephraim Might max HP too.

Maybe one or the other. Two? That's insane. You'd pwnificate everyone. Kind of like a Lalum-Elphin or Harken-Karel type of thing, you don't really know which you're getting until you get them. Something subtle makes the difference.

Why did the myrmidon change gender O.o

The myrmidon is female. I was rushing to enemytize the first map, and just put a myrmidon instead of a Female on.

W00T! New book! Only one left!

As the group searches for somewhere to settle down with threir spoils, a man on the brink of death is lying on the road. He tells them a story of a land off to the east, called Brevlizand. The inhabitants of this land are dragons that attacked his crew, and he was the only survivor. The man also tells that he has another ship, smaller, and he wants someone, anyone, to show the world his findings. The new lordish charactors are split.

Anna, being logical doesn't want to go to some uncharted place where dragons that kill people live. Karl, being adventurous, doesn't really care about the danger. Tharsten doesn't care. Agar goes where Anna goes, and Artemis is itching for a fight. After a while Anna grudgingly agrees, but tells them to train first. Off to Keston! Along the way, the group meets a few familiar faces (Dirk, Virk, Lark, and Osmire) and faces a few wandering bandits.

After Completing Kenston(again) they set off back to Rausten. Nathaniel's group puts up a feeble resistance with commander Lysander's battaion, but the rest of the trip as uneventful. Upon arriving at the harbor, they find it to be amassed with Nathaniel's men. They rush through to the ship, and set off, not for the island, but for help. After recruiting some people in Grado and Freilia, they set off for the island.

After they land, they are greeted by a Mamkute Named Wesker, who disproves of their presence. After defeating Wesker's henchmen, they proceed to look for somesort of city. After finding the capital, they Negotiate with king Alas. Wesker was acting on his own, not on behalf of Brevlizand. As an apology for his hotheaded General's actions, he promises to back them up on whatever issue they need help in.The lords refuse, but Alas persists, and eventually the lords end up with two of the Mamkute's warriors: Handel and Fredrike.

As they are about to leave, another ship lands carrying one of Nathaniel's four Commanders, Gefore. ( A Dragon General ) He threatens the denziens of Brevizland to surrender with a terrible new weapon, the "Bombardment Cannon." The lords won't surrender, and a fight uccurs, involving the cannons. After the battle, the lords take a few cannons, and set of for the mainland.

AH HA! I have Nathaniel figured out!
He is not mortal. He is a servant of the gods sent to destroy the light weapons. And here is the plot twist. There is also NathaniAl. He was sent to destroy the weapons of darkness. The two were given DIVINE (not sacred) weapons, and were to destroy the last of each weapon at the same time leaving only their weapons left, and bringing the world to world of Gods. Both of them have the same look, but Nathaniel has black hair, clothes, and eyes, whereas Nathanial wears white, has white hair, and has normal(but yellow) eyes. If you post, I will tell you more.

I suggest switching a bit. Put Ephriam with Tana, and Erika with Innes. That way it wouldnt look like incest.

Seth takes over Renais, as appointed by the twins. The other returning units DO survive, so... yeah.
