Anyone who's been here for the past 30 minutes probably wants to kill me.

There are probably people that want to kill me anyway, regardless of whether or not they were here.

I am backing down. Hell, I probably deserved all the crap I've been getting, but I still applaud all of those people that supported what I was doing, even if it seemed like I didn't notice. Trust me, I did, and it means a lot.

Well I had hoped that the drama had ended when I posted that other thread; but that was probably the wrong approach. I've done a lot of stupid things, and my massive ego is getting in the way, not for the first time, but hopefully for the last. That's why this time, instead of fanning the flames, I'm backing down. I'm admitting that I was the one in the wrong.

The general consensus as of late is easily summed up here:

Quite frankly, I agree. You guys are absolutely right. And if that's what people are taking away from being around me, then obviously that has to change. And hopefully, it will.

This forum isn't just mine. It's yours. I'm not God just because I made it. So set me straight. Don't whine and complain about how crappy I am. Set me straight.

Drop me a PM. Talk to me in chat. There are things wrong with me that I'm intent on fixing, but we all need to understand that whining and complaining will get us nowhere.

I guarantee that I won't take offense to you if you suggest something that I need to change. As long as you're polite about it. But nothing will get done if we don't take action.

Whining and complaining drove me to shut down FES. Suggesting and helping will only make it better.
