How are Pegasus Knights supposed to be used?
Alright. They have good MOV and they fly. But they rely on speed to do damage instead of strength which makes them bad for finishing enemies IMO. They rely on dodging to survive. A bit too much for confort. And arrows do them so much damage they're easily OHKO'd especially in the early chapters. Really, the Wyvern Rider is the more superior unit. But I just want to know, How should you handle Pegasi? What are they really good for? Besides the triangle attak ¬¬

Assassin for Colm, Ranger for Neimi.

If you're doing CC, then Rennac's the only Rogue you need, and Ranger is just superior to Sniper in nearly every way.

What the surest way to recruit Treck and Zealot? I plan to get this walkthrough with Noah and Treck instead of Alan and Lance, but unfortunately Treck keeps dying. Keep in mind this is Hard Mode.

Try to recruit Zealot asap and rescue Treck with him and/or Marcus. Altough to be honest, you'll need some luck, considering it's hard mode

What's the least number of characters you ever have to use in any given chapter?

Just Roy. And if you unlocked the chapters after Zephiel is defeated and unless you killed off Fa you have to bring her along in those last two chapters.

What Hydro says, but mainly its up to preference. I usually fill out the character choices, bc every now and then some dude is left with 1 HP and you have to use that random character you don't like so that your healer doesn't die, etc.

But I do know some prefer using groups of like 8-10 people, and just build them up. Again, its really just preference.
