Title: S. Trainees v. Normal Promotions
Larry the Reaper - October 17, 2007 02:20 AM (GMT)
So, I get that people don't like the super trainees, but why?
Is it caps? That's all I can think of, since stats and con can be pumped up in CC.
* Larry hasn't bothered to test the ST classes.

They're just not all that great in some cases.
Trainees are generally lower-tier units, anyways. I'd say the only one worth making a Super Trainee would be Ewan. That's just my opinion, he's garbage as it is.

So well thought out.
And yet he might, I guess is what I'm saying. CC runs aren't total blasphemy. <_____<;
I guess if you're going for CC, Ewan will get WTC from being a S. Trainee. Ross can get massive critical as a berserker, and a general has WTC and Great shield, a paladin has the game's highest move, and the GK has WTC, all better options than Amelia's laem Super Trainee class.
I missed the fact that you said CC, they're generally not fielded due to being a pain in the ass to baby in non-CC runs. <____<;

Same could be said with the other classes.

Given that Con caps don't change with the exception of genders, that's no reason to dislike Super Trainees.

Sage can get dark magic via the phantom glitch. Then it's definitely better than super pupil. And the other two trainees are just outclassed.

Kay, now I get it.
Off subject, but not worth another thread, the dark magic glitch is the one where you enemy control glitch yourself a Stone, yes?

You're gonna need a lot of body rings if you want them to wield decent weapons. I'd rather use the money for Energy Rings or Speedwings.
