Funds:
Iron Axe: 6g per use
HandAxe: 15g per use
Hammer: 20g per use
Lightning: 18g per use
Yes, it looks like Lucius costs more. But two things: Dorcas is there longer, which almost guarantees that he'll be using weapons more. Either that or he doesn't do anything for the team, which causes him to suck later. Next, Funds are lulz-worthy to S-rank. And you get special items that promise you won't go over using weapons. So this rank is rather moot in any case. The difference of like 100-200g throughout the entire mode isn't going to make a change in your ranks.
Dorcas > Lucius
Exp:
They join on the same level, but Lucius comes much later. Since units don't rise in levels throughout the chapters, but the experience requirements for them do. It's safe to say that Lucius is more help on rank that Dorcas is. However, you could easily cut both of them and you'll still be able to make the exp requirement as long as you don't SPAM Wallace.
Lucius > Dorcas
Combat:
This rank is stupid. You have to kill your enemy within 2.2 rounds of combat. Lucius pulls this off NO PROBLEM, since he doubles almost everything and attacks Res. Also has 108 base hit, whereas Dorcas would need to be level 16 to have that. With an Iron Axe. Dorcas, on the other hand, usually requires two rounds to kill some enemies thanks to not doubling. And in the likely event that he misses, BAM, three rounds. Which does not meet the combat rank requirements. In addition to all of this, Lucius has _good_ 1-2 range, which makes sure Archers and Mages don't RAPE the combat rank against you.
Lucius >>>>> Dorcas
Tactics:
This rank is mad easy. Dorcas' starting chapter doesn't matter because it has a turn limit. Chapter five is hella easy. Five turns for six enemies = nothing. Same thing with chapter six. You have a lot of units so it's really easy to get things done fast. Lucius' joining chapter, coincidentally, is one of the hardest to S-rank because it's only 7 turns when the chapter is full of small passageways and mountains. This is easy even, though, because of Florina. After that they're both contributing parallel to tactics pretty much. Dorcas being able to counter more, Lucius being better on the player phase.
Lucius = Dorcas
Survival:
I stand by what I've said before. Units don't die in LM. Even if they did, Lucius has good 1-2 range.

This is like...a waste of space. Why did you even bother?

Yeah, it is. Why even bother with it?
Likely even that he misses? Huh? Against mercenaries and myrmidons, maybe. That's all. He shouldn't be fighting those.
If he's countering archers, he's dying. He dies in two hits and has bleh Evd, lol.
Dorcas can kill anything in two hits, so he'll never go higher than 2.2 rounds of combat.
Do you ever get to stuff that matters in this post? Let's keep going and find out!
