Title: What happens if Laguz level up...
Description: solely on Bonus EXP?

Hyric_the_Soldier - December 25, 2007 12:33 AM (GMT)
I guess I could show my research as you might call it... It's still incomplete though. So far I only have Mordecai, Kyza and Lyre.
Laguz are a big pain to level up because they gain little EXP. I've been doing this with Mordecai and being at 3-F, with his Def capped already, I have little regrets. What I do regret though is his excrutiating low Resistance and the amount of Bonus EXP necessary. I always try to have him gain as much EXP possible in the missions...

Note those aren't the base stats I put under base level but the deficit between base and cap.

Update: Put up Muarim's. And I have to say, GOOD LORD!! He caps every single stat. And on time too XD
This whole idea seems to be working better than I expected for Mordecai. He still takes no physical damage when transformed and he's got so much power, he OHKO'd a Swordmaster! Part 5-P He's significantly stronger than Skrimir. Except in Speed.

Update: Added more characters, with the required level-ups to available chapter ratio and level-up pattern beneath that.

Kurthnaga completely leveld on Bonus EXP is 14 stat points short of capping everything. If you give him two seraph robes he can cap everything on Bonus EXP.

I do plan on extending the info displayed. Like comparing normal averages for one. As for Kurth, it's easy enough to level him the normal way. Like that chapter with Sephiran and all the spirits. Just keep having him take out the spirits and he should get easy EXP. More so if given Paragon.

Another thing I learned was that Paragon has zero influence on bonues EXP as I thought. It became evident when I failed to level someone with bonus EXP, then assigned Paragon, and ended up with the same amount.

Maurim is a beast =O. Does this mean that everytime I only use BEXP, he'll end like this no matter what?

Not exactly, but teh total amount of stat points will be the same ( 2 spd instaed of 1 skl and str, for example)

So, he'll always end up close to that?

Laguz units often have less than 300% total growth, so leveling up with BEXP is better.

Hyric_the_Soldier - December 27, 2007 08:31 PM (GMT)
Laguz gets far more experience if they defend themselves in human form. But that's kinda annoying and dangerous... Mid-game, Volug can't even damage enemies enough... >_> That probably goes the same for Vika.

As for Muarim, you'll need to level him up mostly three times per chapter...
