FES sucks. I've been saying it for some time now, and I'm sure a lot of people agree with me. The community is completely dead and the staff is too bound to traditions that have already been decided. Both of these make this place horribly stagnant and unchanging.

Now lets go with how horribly unprofessional the staff is. Inui, Gamefreak, Dez NOR Nin are not being excluded here. Each and every one of them values their image over the memberbases fun. They think that they're being mature because they put restrictions on others to save their own face or the face of the board, when removing these restrictions would cause more fun to erupt. Really, seeing as this IS an freakin' internet forum, image isn't something to be striving for. It's not going to help you outside of FES, and FES is not a gigantic company with some tower in LA or whatever. The people 'working' here do not get paid. They are not bound here. This is not a place _anybody_ is forced into being by any other means than their own will. SO FOCUS ON FUN DAMMNIT!

Debate is something I _can_ enjoy, but a lot of the debaters here just focus on Fire Emblem. Which got old a long time ago, but whatever, if they like it. Now, the debaters that don't focus on Fire Emblem suck. A lot. In debate one of the key things that helps is to think before you write, which is not something I see many people doing. Bizox has a lot of potential, and Maraj is perfect for it but doesn't do it much. Everyone else is horrible. Or borderline horrible. No exceptions. Not Dez, nor YK, nor Inui. I don't find any of them actually good at debating. Although, Inui is very good at manipulating, so he gets an excuse.

Spriting and Fire Emblem. Spriting was fun, but it's too static for me. Visual Art was never my thing seeing as I could just create it in my head in seconds then move on. However, with the time making it and only posting it on a tiny community such as this to get 1-3 responses, hell, I might as well not even bother and say intraverted. Audio was always my thing before I joined FES, and it's still steadfast on changing. Fire Emblem is another of this boards focus. Fire Emblem is fun, yeah, it's cool. However, I don't really like it any more than Breath of Fire, Shining, Lunar, Lufia, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, etc. It's just another RPG to me. Not a reason to stay, in my opinion.

I've stayed here for the people, not for the community. Hell, why would I stay here for the community. <__<;; The people here have always been pretty cool, like Denning, Gennaro, LS, Dauze, Dauze, DV, DF, Merc, Bizox, SI, and probably others I'm forgetting. However, I'm sure you notice something about that list. Most of them are gone. The ones that aren't I can generally talk to by other means anyways. It's not like I'm bound to the people here by rope, so I can move on. Seeing as how much of a waste of time this place is for me, I think that'll be best. I'm not as childish as to sit around here just trying to outdo my co-administrator in time on the forum. ZING!
