Title: Forum Buttons

yoshi71089 - February 14, 2008 08:47 PM (GMT)
There needs to be a difference between forums with new posts and ones without any. Otherwise I'm pulling my hair out trying to find the difference.

Nin-Finity - February 14, 2008 08:49 PM (GMT)
There's a very slight difference; same basic concept as the old ones with the brighter red.

Yes, I agree it's tough to notice, and maybe we'll make new ones, but this is what came with the skin.

And on that note, we need a new banner that goes with this skin. Something that's 98 pixels tall and will go where it says "kyrite".

Also, there are some topics where posts mush together and you cant tell who says what. I think it might be a problem in the code somewhere.

And Onine/Offline things are gone.

It's almost every topic for me. <<;

yoshi71089 - February 14, 2008 09:24 PM (GMT)
Lol, now its more prevalent than before. Like every topic now.

Black_Knight_456 - February 14, 2008 09:28 PM (GMT)
It was like that while I was on my parents comp downstairs. I switched to mine and I don't notice it at all, though this is the only topic I've looked at since switching \:

Edit: Until now....

I took that out of the code because the footer didn't have enough room left.

I'll put it back up if I can make room for it.

Report and Quote buttons aren't working on some posts.. Also, h8 how the posts mush together. D:

Forum Attack #401: FES adopted a new skin.

.autedinch - February 14, 2008 11:17 PM (GMT)
Contact Nephos. It's a possibility that there is a hosting or Javascript error.

Want me to give it a try...?

Nin-Finity - February 15, 2008 12:11 AM (GMT)
Yes, please. Just make sure it's flush with the skin. Outside of that, go wild.

Jeigan - February 15, 2008 12:28 AM (GMT)
I'll give it a try as well.

Skin looks awesome, btw. Makes the forum look more attractive and fits better the member icons style. Good job

oranj - February 15, 2008 02:21 AM (GMT)
Not only the forum buttons but the thread buttons too ... also, you know that blue button that took you to the last post that you saw in a thread? I like that a lot better than those 2 red arrows, not sure if anyone else does though

Skye - February 15, 2008 03:19 AM (GMT)
I like it was the over flow property in these lines:
.signature { font-size: 10px; overflow: auto; }
.postdetails { font-size: 10px; }
.postcolor { line-height: 160%; overflow: auto; }

If anyone of you still sees a broken post, post here or PM me.

Bizox - February 15, 2008 04:04 AM (GMT)
I still see broken posts. It seems like it has to do with large images/signatures. <<;

Hunter-Ghor - February 15, 2008 04:08 AM (GMT)
Tabs seem to be a factor as well.

oranj - February 15, 2008 11:59 PM (GMT)
I also noticed this thing where posts don't fully appear on a page and you have to highlight and go down if you want to see it all ... not sure if that is the same as a broken page but whatever

EDIT: I've been noticed some post breaks, but after refreshing they go away

Dez384 - February 17, 2008 06:09 AM (GMT)
My posts bunch immediately after I post and am taken back to the topic, but when I view the topic again after leaving it, the posts are fine.

yoshi71089 - February 20, 2008 02:28 AM (GMT)
Going back to the original topic, I'm pulling my hair out because I can't tell where new posts are. And its worse after being gone for three days...

Dez384 - February 20, 2008 02:32 AM (GMT)
I've gotten used to it.

Black_Knight_456 - February 20, 2008 03:19 AM (GMT)
If all else fails you can mouse over them, if you get a hand then there is a new post. If you just keep the regular pointer...then nothins goin on in there. Works for me anyway \:

Maraj - February 20, 2008 12:12 PM (GMT)
Are posts still exploding into each other?

Yeah, except for me, I'm not able to scroll down the page and check to see if there are new topics. I have little online time to spend, and its just less time I get to have when I have to manually scan the dates on the side. <.<

I haven't seen it happen, so I think I fixed it.

*yoshi71089 pokes the original topic again.

I really, really, really wish someone would do this.
