Title: The Works of Ty
hpty603 - March 2, 2008 09:06 PM (GMT)
I really only do battle sprites and recolors
Uther

beta attack (working on crit)
LordUldren - March 2, 2008 09:33 PM (GMT)
I'm not going to knock it since it's amazing for early work. Keep on spriting.
hpty603 - March 3, 2008 02:08 AM (GMT)
I'm basically redoing the attack animation, it's just terrible
Hyle - March 3, 2008 02:26 AM (GMT)
I liked the attack animation.
But the legs when he stabs with the spear kinda look weird.

He's supposed to slide in on his knees

I was saying when he stops.
Dez384 - March 3, 2008 03:37 AM (GMT)
His shoulders seem too wide for his body. In the animation, the blurs don't look swell.
aznswordmaster1 - March 3, 2008 04:50 AM (GMT)
Hmm, you got a pretty good grasp on animation, the knee that is on the ground during the attack kinda looks stiff and the knees kind of need to be rounded out.
hpty603 - April 10, 2008 01:29 AM (GMT)
I made a female soldier battle sprite (Madelyn in the project linked in my sig)

I have yet to animate it but I'll get around to it
Inuyasha Lover - April 10, 2008 04:10 AM (GMT)
Its very nice, looks good. I don't see anything wrong with it. I like the choice in colors, because blue and green go well together.
hpty603 - April 17, 2008 12:51 AM (GMT)
Elbert

I tried making an unmounted Wyv rider but it turned out terrible so I'm not even going to post it >_>
hpty603 - April 17, 2008 01:36 AM (GMT)
EDIT: Oops, double-post. Sorry, my internet was unresponsive and I hit refresh
LordUldren - April 17, 2008 01:41 AM (GMT)
Very Nice it's actually increadible
hpty603 - April 17, 2008 01:52 AM (GMT)
It took me about 6 revisions and a completely scrapped sprite but I finally got it. Thanks for the compliment, it is very smexy indeed :rose: *wanted excuse to use that*
Exxucus - April 17, 2008 01:54 AM (GMT)
I liek it. The head almost looks like its on backwards, but not really. eh, it's prolly just me.
hpty603 - April 17, 2008 01:59 AM (GMT)
Nice catch, his eye needs moved forward a pixel or so
UPDATE!
adarius - April 17, 2008 03:26 AM (GMT)
There we go, it looks good now. But the lower part of his head looks a bit square. Is that just the pixels filling in from his collar? Only suggestion is to maybe round the face just a tad, and now that I look the shading seems a bit off...to many light colors near the bottom of his face methinks.
Edit: Critiquing your first sprite of Uther...the spear angle is off. The head and the back end are at a different angle from one another. Looks like the spear is bent near the neck and somewhere along the middle of it the way it is now. It may be just the placement relative to the hand, try moving the spear up a bit so the shaft is actually behind his hand and not his forearm.
hpty603 - April 29, 2008 02:38 AM (GMT)
A meteor sword animation for a sword master
darklink - April 29, 2008 02:39 AM (GMT)
Xenx-Zona - April 29, 2008 03:24 PM (GMT)
its good but i dont really like the fact that only his forearm move and in weird directions too.
aznswordmaster1 - April 30, 2008 04:54 AM (GMT)
One of the frames has the arm bending down in way thats not humanly possible.
hpty603 - April 30, 2008 11:26 PM (GMT)
Ya, I realized most of this so I tried to fix it though I might redo it. I really had intended him to be more flicking than a whole arm slash
aznswordmaster1 - April 30, 2008 11:34 PM (GMT)
It kind of has this feel that now the arm is like a squid arm that can bend in all sorts of ways.
hpty603 - May 1, 2008 12:00 AM (GMT)
SQUID ARM ATTACK!
Ya, I think that I'm just going to redo it >_>
hpty603 - June 8, 2008 11:38 PM (GMT)
Yay, I remembered my password!
Female Bow Knight Lord

Elbert
LordUldren - June 9, 2008 01:44 AM (GMT)
The female bow rider is nice, I really like the overall presentation.
Elbert has proportion issues, and his head is set to far back.
hpty603 - June 10, 2008 12:39 AM (GMT)
Thanks, I'll work on Elbert. I was trying to make it look as if the horse had armor protecting its face if you didn't catch that btw.
hpty603 - June 10, 2008 01:16 AM (GMT)
Sorry for double posting but I needed to update my latest version
New then old

aznswordmaster1 - June 10, 2008 01:18 AM (GMT)
I think it was fine the way it was, cause now he looks like he's leaning over.
hpty603 - June 10, 2008 01:20 AM (GMT)
Well, I was working on proportions, now I'll work on stance
hpty603 - June 10, 2008 01:27 AM (GMT)
Moar dubl postz
New then old again

hpty603 - August 1, 2008 01:45 AM (GMT)
My computer broke about a week after my last post but luckily I got this up before it happened (currently on my Dad's computer). Unfortunately, I was about half done with Uther's attack and I can no longer access it

Aeorys Kirru - August 1, 2008 03:58 AM (GMT)
I like how it looks, though the legs seem really stiff. It's like his knees are being dislocated every time he moves forward. Also, his nearer arm (the one not holding the blade) should move some. I'd like to see more poses in this animation, personally.
hpty603 - August 1, 2008 04:32 AM (GMT)
I see what you mean. It just really sucks that I won't be able to fix anything until I get my new computer in October :(
hpty603 - August 7, 2008 07:31 PM (GMT)
Well I can still do standing sprites on paint even though it is absolutely miserable doing so
Mounted Knight
aznswordmaster1 - August 7, 2008 07:46 PM (GMT)
The Knight looks like he's missing an arm.
frostserenade - August 7, 2008 07:59 PM (GMT)
One of his hands are missing.
Lumoroske - August 7, 2008 08:12 PM (GMT)
Perhaps the leg we see could have some reflection highlights? It seems flat.
hpty603 - August 7, 2008 11:57 PM (GMT)
Better?
LordUldren - August 7, 2008 11:58 PM (GMT)
Torso is too long Nice though I can see where you're going
