Time for Round 4!

For those who don't know how to play, here's what you do. First, people will sign up. I will act as the mediator. Once everyone is signed up, I will select special people. Most will be members of the mafia, and one will be a guardian angel. The mafia members will discuss through PMs who they want to eliminate from the members (kill) and the guardian angel can select one member who they want to be saved, and tell me through a PM. The guardian angel can be killed, but he/she can also save him/herself. There's also a detective who asks me if someone is in the mafia.

Once this happens, I will announce who was killed. The people still left in the game will discuss who they think the mafia members might be, and then they will elect to remove one member from the game. The mafia members will be involved in the discussion to hopefully draw blame away from themselves.

Oh, so you called it and assume you get it bc you called it. :P

The only opposition to it was that it was irrelevant, and unless I missed something, it was established that that wasn't true anyway, so that equates to there no longer being any opposition or reason for my calling it not to mean that I get it, yes?

Nowhere does it say "Anyone who calls it automatically gets it next round." I think people were just ignoring it last round because it was irrelevant.

Othin, you can PM me and tell me exactly what you would do, and I will do it.

That doesn't mean it can't be improved, and since you haven't done anything to show why it would be worse for the game, I see no harm that could come from it.

About what, a third of the players in these games know why I say what I do. The rest of you apparently have no reason to think one would be better than another... with barely any information, anyway. I see at least one reason why it would be better if I were to do this, and definitely none for why I shouldn't... or am I missing something?

I don't see what the difference would be, aside from problems stemming from that my ideas are impossible to explain well.

Besides, it would make secret elements impossible, because I'd already know them.

I would either reveal the "secret elements" or you just wouldn't play, most likely the latter. If you were the narrator, then you wouldn't play anyways. You can't explain your ideas well? That'll still be a problem even if you were the narrator, because if you can't explain your ideas to those that have to use them, i.e. Mafia, detectives, etc., then the game won't function.

In the end, I will be the narrator, for reasons of logistics and moderation. The only reason I would be willing to exclusively listen to your ideas is because back in the first Mafia Game GF said that you could do one.

Oh, and, Othin, there's no rule that you can't make one even if Dez makes them.

This should make things interesting.

And yes he could make his own Mafia game. If he did, he would need to make a clear distinction between the two so people don't get confused.
