I've done this twice at FEFF and both were incredibly successful. Since Dez's mafia seemed to have died I wanted to bring it back. It will be basic, with the mafia, doctor, bodyguard, and vigilante.

What does the doctor do?

Chooses a person to 'save' that round, and if the mafia chooses that person, they aren't killed.

I thought that was the bodyguard. :/

The doc attempts to revive someone by sacrificing himself.

The doctor doesn't sacrifice himself, he just chooses a person each round to "save". They're only useful when you have an intuitive person who can guess who the mafia will attempt to kill that round.

I'm assuming the bodyguard = the cop, unless we're playing some funked up version of mafia. Each round they give the narrator a name, who they are "investigating", and the narrator tells the cop whether or not that person is in the mafia (and sometimes what the role of that person is, i.e. doctor/vigilante, etc.).

Vigilante is like the mafia, but is only one person and is attempting to kill the mafia.
