Well it's been a week, and it looks like Theme is our winner. But I agree that we might as well have each of the contests eventually. So I guess we'll start with Theme, then Random Mug, then FES Island or AYTBS.

Well the things that come to mind for a theme contest is to maybe base our personal mugs on a theme that everyone knows pretty well. So like maybe something of the lines of like, "Base your character of a Final Fantasy Character!" Or maybe like "change your mug to look like he or she came from the 70's" I'm just throwing in ideas for now and I'd like to hear what everyone else thinks.

I'm not quite sure if this is a theme, but "Make a mug using mugs from FE4"

I once again submit my rock band theme idea.

Realistic knights.

Realistic themed? Like normal hair colours and clothing. Wedding attire sounds fun. I'd kill to do some steampunk, but that's a personal obsession. Goggles, gears and wrenches = awesome.

We had a knight contest before, IIRC, and I don't mean the contest between Merc and myself. I'm a little against that whole knight idea. Why? I'm feeling a little doubtful about the potential results.

@Myke - Hm, some agreement there, but just not casual wear. That can get REALLY boring. Wedding...men in tuxedos, women in fancy dresses? Considering that most of the spriters here are MALE, that won't be terribly interesting or variable...unless some of them are willing to go in drag. Steampunk... ♥

If not just casual, maybe work uniform? Let's see some Police shirts, McDonalds caps and jumpsuits. And rather than 'wedding' themed, perhaps just fancy dress ball? Glittery dresses and frilly waistcoats and such.

Crazy hats/headgear, anyone? Only suggesting this as mugs are generally only shoulders-up.

Elemental - Choose an element and make your mug the embodiment of it somehow.
Animal - This was done before, but we can spread it out into different categories, like mammal, bird, reptile, etc.
Gender Bending - Change your mug's gender; done before, but it didn't quite catch on as a fad, so I think it'd be safe enough to have for a contest theme.
Senior Citizens - Make your mug old.
Toddler - Make your mug into a little kid.
Gothic - Your interpretation.
Cultural - Choose a culture, base your mug's clothing/makeup/hair/etc. on it.

It would probably be a good idea to rule out premade/old work.
