I got my new PS3 today. I restored the data from my old hard drive onto the new one just to realize that RB1 + RB2 data is uncopyable. So I put my old hard drive into the new system and one thing led to another and it had to reformat the system. In the process, it wiped all my data. Everything is gone.

After I was done crying manly tears, I had to get back to starting all over again.

This is a message to all PS3 owners: Buy a 360.

wii sucks currently in my personal opinion. I can't wait for monster hunter to come out on it though.

Wii's fun, but isn't really a gaming console. It's like the fat girl you hang out with who makes you kinda happy, but you don't want a serious relationship with (or your friends to see you hanging out with).

Your family's pretty intimate with her, though. She goes shopping with your mum sometimes.

Get over your conditional representations of what a console should be. Statistically, the Wii deserves the title of "best" more than any of the others. The sales enumerations of the consoles are the most objective method of quantifying all qualities of a console in a single statistic. The Wii is the most consensually appealing, and that's what I'd consider "best".

I don't find the Wii suits my personal tastes the most, nor would I say that what I consider a 'hardcore gamer' is would enjoy the Wii above all else. However, I don't think that sample size nor my opinion is so great that I would disregard data and say the Wii is not the best console.

I think the PS3 is the better console because it's exclusives appeal to me more than the other two, that's obviously going to be different for someone else. So their best console is going to be different from mine. "best" means that it depends on the individual's own preferences, that is my take on the word anyway.

Why do you disagree with what I've said? You haven't contradicted me. We defined "best" differently, and are thus making different statements when we label a console as "best".

i still like the 360 the most, with me being a real big fps person, and the 360 still having enough rpgs to hold me over. will i get all 3 eventually? probably, my family has the wii and i love it, and i also can't disagree with what khriss said either, but in the end its all about prefrence anyways, I don't think highest sells is really what makes the system the best
