When you make images that have very little detail, such as sprites, you need to save them as PNG. There is no way to fix your avatar now because it is saved as a JPEG.

actually its on a flashdrive so i can resave it thanks because i was confused

Your avatar is too wide for FES' size restrictions, so the site resized it. Try putting the battle sprite closer to the mug, or only have the mug as your avatar.
