Hitting it in the tail will not do anything. That kind of thing doesn't work in FE.
As Dozza said, use a long-range S bowman or high-ranking light magic to pwn his manakete ass.

Lyon killed him though. That's just his messed up corpse you fight. Poor Morva...
I had trained myrrh at the tower. That's how I got her to lv 20. (And I wasted 40/50 of her dragonstone's power)

so much O.o... such of waste...(okay... using myrrh is lame... and waste of exp (yeayeah... ppl can always just go to tower or ruins but... It's more fun to beat the game without max leveling chars before creature campaign... even my joshua maxed... curse chapter 19... >_>High speed (dodge and double attack) + like over 30 crit chance is dangerous... (used iron sword...)))
but... I got 18 lvls (1 + 18 = 19) and 10 exp in ch. 20 with 20 uses... dunno why I used her so much even I could kill those monsters and Morva without her... I think so... with Innes (yeah... him... I didn't know that I can go to secret shops in world map so I couldn't promote her) and Artur (bishop's slayer yeah!!!)
