And so we start a new year off with a bang! Welcome, we hope you enjoy this bit of history. Some parts are left out due to lack of accuracy, but these are mostly the important things you should know, that might interest you.

The Beginning:
A long time ago in Port Sarim, 3 people in iron stood in front of the rune shop talking. "Wanna be in my clan?" asked a person named Havoc Hunter. "Yes." said Aniba and Olmantir. Seeing this, and being truly a n00b, a girl walked up behind them amazed at the idea of belonging in a group. "Can I be in your friend?" "Sure," said Havoc Hunter, "go to avidgamers.com/hc and apply." Rappleart applied and was accepted. She got in and saw 4 people in the clan: Havoc Hunter, Aniba, Olmantir, and herself, Rappleart. And that was the beginning of the clan.
Not so long after, several other players became members and a small group of n00bs began to become great. Members like Titan420, Thirdeye150, and Phattom signed up and enlarged the ranks. Soon the clan was a solid 2 dozen of well-knit friends.

Soon though, these players caught a hint of Roman Greatness and ended up in Google, Yahoo, Alta Vista, and other Search Engines. Being first in line, members flocked into the Havoc Clan forcing new factions of different specialties to emerge. To support this members hesitant of clans decided to join and Arsen, Tabbi, and Innadaze appeared. Other great members like DBZ_Mucnugget and Zypher X joined as well.

With Zypher X's help an alliance was made to the ROTRT which lead to alliances with many clans. The HC became a small super-clan with 400 members, 4 factions, and 8 allies. Amazingly they had not made 1 enemy clan. Soon though members began to fight over petty things. After the breakup of the OS (Order of the Sword) and Olmantir's leaving of the game, the HC hit it's first Great Purge. Over 150 members were deleted and it was believed the HC was secure again.

But, another allied clan faced breakup and decided the best way to promote unity was a war. They challenged the HC to a War Game. Before the battle could take place, the CWC(Cold Winds Clan) fractured into 3 groups: the CWC, CWCR, and RP. Missing out of easy victory the HC cut off all of its ties with the CWC and its rebel factions. This thrust the HC into a dark time. The CWC retaliated with threats and the HC became insecure. To keep the HC stable, 2 of the factions were dropped and another 150 members were deleted. Several new great ones appeared though, Lukehs, Dood4321, Sneaky One, Laser000, and Gardor.

Thought to be stable, the HC and CWC began a game of spies. In hope the HC also allied with the Syndicate. Although the HC dominated in every way with superior spy numbers and ranks, the CWC was successful in tearing into the heart of several HC Leaders.

Negotiations tore at these members even more. Then, one of Havoc Hunter's best friends and leaders, Thirdeye150, declared independence. Seeking to be all-powerful and maddened at the thought of peace with the CWC, Thirdeye150 created his own clan, 3rd Degree. He pulled at faltering members, members who wanted out and saw 3rd Degree as a wedge. And so the saga continued... 1 rebel group, 1 aggressive foe, 3 strong allies, prospects for peace, and 80 loyal members.

Now:
But now things have changed. All ties to outside clans were severed. Past actions from many people were forgiven. Old friends have come and gone and checked in from time to time. New ones join up once in a while, a few troublemakers as well. The length of the HC's existence has lead to people moving on to other things thus the membership decreases. We are waking up again with events planned for the future and our core members getting ready to revamp the clan.

Once again, the clan is reviving. Under a new name and new leadership, we intend to live up to the motto we stood for for so long.
