Name: Rebecca/Becca Age: 15 Grade: 10th Characters: Shurx
In Character
Name: Shurx Meliana Gender: Female Age: 3 Eye Color: Green Fur Color: Tans, browns, creams Species: Timber wolf Alignment: Neutral
Power:
-Nature Bending -Aura Sight -Earth Bending
Power Description:
--Shurx had always been able to control and communicate with plants. So, naturally, it was hard for anyone to sneak up on her as a pup. Mostly, she had kept this power secret and trained herself to when there were no others around. But when she left her family, she used her abilities more often and mastered it soon after. This power can allow her to listen to the plant's callings and speak with them, so she would always know if there was an intruder on her lands even before they howled. But it is also great for battles because plantlife is everywhere... and where there is plantlife, she can get the upper-hand. |||||||| A wolf can keep the terrain alive with plants as they so chose, and keep things from being burnt and destroyed, and bringing old trees back to life. They can as well make plants disappear that should not go somewhere. They can move bushes, and replant them somewhere else, and same with trees. They can vanquish entire grasslands from one place, and have it sprout in an area with no water to help it grow. They have the ability to wrap their enemies in random vines from the ground, and keep them there if they so wish.
--The power of this sight is not the strongest of all powers however it is quite useful. It allows the user to see the intent of another wolf through a rainbow of colors that represent different emotions. Short of reading another wolf's mind, this allows the gifted wolf to find traitors within the pack by sorting out the darker auras or to find someone with a lighter aura that might cheer them up. The aura is seen as a sort of cloak that hovers around other wolves and this sight can be ignored at any time. Only living objects hold auras and the newly dead cling to their living aura for a few hours after death. The holder of this power must be very level headed and slow to react to the information that is given to them as many wolves don't like to have their emotions read.
--They can create earthquakes in the ground, and have cliffs rise up from the lands, and ponds be formed, with the help of a water bender to have the water inside of the pools. Often, they can create tsunami [undersea earthquakes] with their powers. Although, its unknown to wolf, if it also requires a water bender as well.
Personality:
As her expression shows, Shurx is truly a wise being. She knows what is right and wrong very well, and can tell when another is trying to trick her in any way. But she is a smart one as well, taking responsibility for her actions as well as others, if the moment calls for it. In her mind, others come before herself on her priorities. She'd starve herself if it meant she'd save another’s life. But depending on the circumstances, she'll fight unmercilessly to protect herself. Shurx is just the one to take care of pups, whether they are hers or not. For, she makes a great storyteller and knows quite a few games that hardly any of her age knows of.
Shurx is certainly not a 'good' lupe, but isn't an 'evil' one either. She's just in between; helping whomever needs it if it will cause her to gain something, even if that something is just getting a new experience in return. But this fae can become quite tricky if there is something she wants and will do almost anything to get it, unless she knows that it is just way to far out of her grasp to reach for. But... with her kindness and strong-willed nature comes a darker self. Shurx will never hesitate to shed blood if necessary. When it comes to using her body as a tool for someone she greatly respects, she will gladly agree, even if it will end her own life. The fae will battle for those she cares for while opposing those she's against; yet will never loose control of herself. She will keep herself under control and quite calm while fighting, which can be quite difficult to do. But then again, that is who Shurx is. The kind yet dreary protector
Appearance:
Shurx is a bit smaller than the average timber fae, her figure lean yet muscular and powerful. Her pelt has the combined colors of creams, grays, tans, and browns, each having a unique shade on her dainty-looking body. Her stomach and haunches, not to mention a good section of her lower maw is covered with creams and pale tans, while all of the shades are blended together on the rest of her, the tip of her tail a dark, dark brown. Light green orbs gleam brightly from her maw, shining with knowledge and wisdom well beyond her years.
Yet, even though she does seem like the frail, dainty figure to others, her muscles are well-toned but not bulky, her physique showing that she is quick and light on her paws and can maintain great speeds without tiring as much as another her age and size. In fact, she is talented when it comes to speed, silence, and cunning. Shurx is a great huntress when working in a group, or by herself. She truly knows how to take care of herself, and it is definitely shown in the way she moves. This fae is truly a beautiful creature compared to many other's standards, but it is obvious that what is behind the mask can become far from pretty at times. On her back rest a graceful set of wings. Feathers sprout from the frames, the colouring mostly a very dark green, yet the tips of each are the same exact colour as her eyes. Each wing -when resting- reach just past the beginning of her hind haunches and spread out much farther when flying.
History:
Both of Shurx's parents had come from the same birth pack, Perfon, being the beta's youngest son while Maltifa being the third daughter of the kappas. It was because of Maltifa and her sibling's birth that caused her parents to be shunned from the pack once their pups had become weaned; yet the pups were allowed to remain as part of the extremely small pack. You see, the alpha fae could not give birth herself, so she treated most pups like her own, though it was the beta pair who usually took care of them. That was how both Perfon and Maltifa met. They were both very young but had quickly become friends after they met. Growing up together had caused them to be closer than most and because Perfon was not the heir for the rank of beta, he did not have to worry about spending most of his time learning of what he had to do for the specific rank. The two had eventually decided to flee from the packlands to find a home for themselves.
Over the years, the two had grown even fonder of each other and --when breeding season came-- mated for the very first time. Neither of them had thought about what it would do to them in the future, but by the time Maltifa had started showing... Perfon grew frightened. For, both were from a good, light pack and he had no idea if there were any packlands nearby. Well, there was that reason, but he also did not want to become a father, thinking it was too soon. Yet he knew he couldn't kill his love or cause her pain by crushing the unborn pups in her stomach. So, he fled. He flew when the moon was covered in clouds and when Maltifa was asleep. He fled when she was unaware of anything. He fled thinking he'd run away from his fears. But since then, no one has heard from him.
By the time Maltifa had awakened, he'd been long gone. Knowing that he'd abandoned her, she sadly made her way into a packland. The pack wasn't light, but wasn't an evil one either. In fact, they were neutral and had automatically given her shelter and let her rest, for she was going to give birth soon. And so it happened... The day came. The young fae had started to give birth. That was when Shurx was born, along with her twin brother, Polfe. Then came Yrael, and finally, the runt of whom barely made it, Urios. They grew up as pups in the pack, all strangely close to one another and thinking that the others their age treated them as if they were omegas. It wasn't all that bad, though. For, they learned everything they needed to survive and Maltifa was protective over them until they reached one year.
All happy moments end quite sadly... At least for this pack, anyway. You see, there was a group of tamed hunting dogs that were released to destroy any wolves' lives that they crossed paths. Most all of the pack made it away from them with minor wounds, but there were the unlucky few... Shurx had been separated from most of her family, but had caught up to Polfe. The two had come across their mother's ripped up, limp body the next day. Certainly the two had mourned, but even as they waited, there was no trace of their three younger siblings. Thinking the worst, the two began wandering together, away from the land that gave them life and took it away.
It was a year later when she and Polfe were separated once again. He had found one to call a mate, not to mention being accepted into a pack. But Shurx wished to stay alone for a longer period of time, choosing to leave her brother with his new life. So, she wandered by herself for another year, gaining new experiences as well as finding her own views on life and figuring out her talents as well as her faults. Coming to these new lands, the fae decided to clean her slate --so to speak-- and start anew. Her adventure begins from here, where her life has yet to continue...
