Will your choices be your own or is your destiny predetermined?


If there is one thing that all people of St. Anthony’s know, it’s that life takes unexpected turns. One moment you can be on top of the world and the next you will be down at the bottom of the barrel. Life is such a precious and fleeting thing, the balance can be thrown off at any moment. A life can end or start new, in the blink of an eye.

Here at The Island of Saints, your RPG life is held on that same fine line. Each character will be playing a virtual game of Fate. Every single character will be at the whim of fate. You must try to develop your character knowing that changes will constantly be occurring. But remember no matter what you do, when your number is up… there will be no recounts.

Some of the most life changes events that could happen to your character include:



{} Death: The ultimate ending for characters; death changes the came for everyone. Anyone can die; there is no returning from death.

{} Werewolf Bite: Some might say that this is an end while other might say a beginning. Depending on the bite you may live to see another day or just have a new view of the full moon.

{} Vampire Bite: Will you be offered the blood of your attacker? Or will your life be just hanging by a thread? And then of course he could only take a pint or blood and then you could go on to another picnic in the sunlight.

{} Become a Key Player: Sometimes a leader will need to call on a person to become a key player in a certain event. Just because you are just the message boy today doesn’t mean you won’t be the leader tomorrow.

{} Injury and Defeat: Fights occur in the shadows on the island. And like all shady dealings nobody had the upper hand. Maybe you will be the winner or perhaps the loser.

{} Special Abilities: There is a little bit of magic in us all… so it is only fitting that fate would allow some of us to be given the chance to access this power. Who knows what power could be in you.

These are but a few of changes that fate can throw your way, in a list of such much more. Some of the events might become first page public news; while other events will be hidden only to an elite few. Coming from an island with so many secrets, would you expect anything less? But beware of word of mouth, gossip spreads fast in a small town. Remember to keep an open eye because you never know where life will take you.
