Strengths: Those who know of his past might say that his a weakness of his, but in fact it isn’t. For him, his past is a motivation. He wants to keep on going, on living. He wants to be there to keep the memory of his family. And every breath he takes is another reason to go on for them. He is smart and above all street smart. He could survive with all or nothing.

Weaknesses: Gray hides his emotions. Keeping them in a place so he can feel safe, hoping to be their master. But sometimes it gets him into a bad place. Sometimes he has to let go of it. In these times he could be a bomb going on or just a fit of angry tears. He tries not to fall in love but in the end he pushes people away and that makes his life harder.

General impression (ie uptight, quiet, sexual, etc.): Gray definitely gives off the loner impression. He comes from the south and around here that makes him stick at like a sore thumb. From his accent to looks people know he isn’t from around town. Sometimes people feel like there is a dangerous aspect about him. He scares people with his closed emotions. He is good looking and sometimes people will greet him for that.

Vital notes on history (ie was a soldier, accidentally killed spouse, former opera singer, etc.): Grayson comes from a wealthy family in New Orleans. He had that fairytale southern up bringing. A rich boy with looks and lots of love. He meet his wife when he was just a teenager, it was love at first sight. They went off to college together and it was a perfect pair. He majored in law and she went into nursing. Before he started his two more years of law school they were married and in that first year at a daughter, Daisy.
Everything seemed to be going well for Gray but soon his wife started to have a creepy guy stalk her around. They tried to get the cops involved but it didn’t seem to do any good. It continued this way for months, but then suddenly stopped. By this time Grayson and Jenn decided that it was best to move to another state and start over.
One weekend Gray flew to Texas to get some affairs in order so that he and his family could move there. During this time his wife and child stayed at his parents place. Missing his family he opted to come home a day early. Walking into his childhood home he was taken back by the horror of it. His family had been murdered. It was a horrific scene but what made it worse was that his daughter was missing. She seemed to be nowhere. He ran to his wife and in her dying breath she told him that it had been a Vampire.
It took him a long time to understand that, the police came, in search of the man. They looked all over for his daughter. Weeks went by and he still held out hope. Praying to find the truth and anything that could bring closure. Unsure of the Vampire story, though in his heart he knew his wife would not lie.
One month later he got a call, his daughter had been found. She was found dead in an old graveyard with two puncture wounds in her neck.
This drove Gray insane, he went to the old Voodoo woman. He learned more and more about Vampires, he became a believer. He knew this stalker at been a creature of evil and he vowed to find him and kill him.
Since then Grayson has been all over the United Stats and out of the country. He had only been 25 at the time, his daughter at been 2.
Now he lives in Little Salem and works as a fisherman.

Gray had spent a good hour just letting himself gaze into the distance. The water just seemed to bring a little peace to him. He had always grown up around the water, it had been a major part of his life. In fact his family had made a fortune from it. But that money he had long since given away. All that was left was the water and his painful past.

He turned his head up and glanced at the sky. It was about noon and the sun was high. Even in Little Salem, heat waves came through and slowed the town up a little. Gray knew he needed to get back to work.

“Gotta’ fish to eat.” He said out loud, forcing himself to focus. This was his life now.
