Vital notes on history (ie was a soldier, accidentally killed spouse, former opera singer, etc.): Adrian grew up in Little Salem and always wanted to leave. It was a nice place to be, somewhere to grow up and not feel so alone but it also felt like a cage, the little island surrounded by water. He had hoped to go to college, s"omewhere on the West Coast" he always said but his father became gravely ill during the summer after his graduation and died that fall. He never knew his mother, she died during childbirth and all he had was a picture. Knowing that his fate was signed when his fathers heart stopped he realized he would never leave New Salem as he is now the new leader of the Werewolves.

Adrian stepped out of his home, it was still quiet the time where the sun started its climb into the sky. This was his favorite time of the day, of life, the times when nothing else seemed to exist and he could imagine melting into nothingness. He took a deep breath smelling the evergreens, the salty air and the musky smell of the smaller animals in the forest. He zipped up his windbreaker and began his morning jog through the forest and down to the center of Little Salem where he always stopped for a morning coffee. He began to run and like most werewolves there was hardly a sound made when his feet met the forest floor or the pavement. Sometimes he had to purposely make noise so people wouldn't notice, one of the things he had to do to prove he was "normal."
